Hello is it possible to search by JOB ID?
Regular keyword field should do the job
OK thanks
Hi, I’m trying to setup login/registration as a separate page but not able to do so.. I have done the necessary setting in workscout core- registration and on pages option but the separate page which has [workscout_my _account] shortcode comes blank when not logged in…Please let me know how to make this work..thanks
Separated login page is basically e.g. /dashboard/ page and should works.
Does your script function as a workforce management platform where we can: 1. Onboard employees by allowing them to create accounts and upload documents? 2. Approve or disapprove employees during the onboarding process? 3. Post short-term job opportunities and available positions for users to view and apply for? 4. Assign employees to shifts based on their availability? 5. Track the hours worked by employees across all shifts?
No, that’s just regular job board theme
Thank you for the quick reply
How do I get support ? I had sent an email using ‘Contact the author’ form on below support page
https://themeforest.net/item/workscout-job-board-wordpress-theme/13591801/supportHi, we asked for admin access but you did not reply. Please check SPAM folder
I did not get any emails. I checked the SPAM folder also. Did you sent the email to my yahoo email account that I used in the ‘Contact the author’ form (this email was used in Envato to purchase Workscout.
pre**ishm@yahoo.com check again I just sent you an email again
Hi,
pre-sale question
Most employers don’t want to sign up to Post a Job. If you already have this feature, do you have a demo page of adding a job without having to be logged in first? If you don’t can you add this option in next release?
thanks
It’s basic feature. registration is not needed. Account can be created during job submitting based on email given in form.
Hi there,
I’d like to be able to: - Allow Employers to list jobs for free - Allow jobs to be seen by everyone (including logged-out users) - Allow Applicants to register for free but, must pay a subscription to apply for jobs through the website
Is this possible?
Thanks!
I can see there is a setting on the WP Job Manager plugin: “Only allow registered users to apply.” Does this feature work with this theme?
I assume I could use a plugin like Restrict Content Pro (https://restrictcontentpro.com/) to hide job listings unless users are registered.
Thank you! Purchased – I look forward to creating with this theme!
Thanks. If you’ll have any questions please send us support ticket using this form: https://themeforest.net/item/workscout-job-board-wordpress-theme/13591801/support/contact
Hi, does the theme support a feature that charges users to view jobs? Like a yearly subscription?
Hi, unfortunately not
Hi, can you please tell me from where the messages can be viewed in the admin dashboard? Also, are these messages stored locally or on a third party server?
Hi, unfortunately there is no such option. Messages are stored in database on your server
Hi
Is it possible to offer a job / project / services and follow up with another request with only one type of account ( company ) ? If not, do you have another theme that has this functionality?
Thanks
Yes you can disable user roles.
HI
It is possible to restrict the possibility of seeing: projects / company / services… only for connected accounts.
THANKS
Connected means registered? Yes
yes For subscriber accounts only
Yes
You’d need a membership type of plugin for that
Hello, I would like to purchase your theme. I have a few questions:
Can freelancers and employers send files or images to each other while messaging? Messaging is very important to me. Is the messaging system live and seamless? If I want to turn my website into a mobile app in the future, is it possible? Does the theme support this?
Hi, we’re just about to integrate advanced system where freelancer and employer can chat with each other, send attachments, mark milestones, approve or reject them etc.
For mobile app you’d need to hire a developer, it could be done though but we can’t help in this matter
Thank you for your response. Could you please provide an estimated completion date for this work?
Also, what are the differences between a regular license and an extended license? There seems to be a significant price difference.
The project is almost finished.
As for license difference it’s just the terms of usage, basically if your whole page is behind paywall or in other form users need to pay to have access to the page you need extended license, otherwise it’s regular license which is ok in 99,9999% of cases
Hi
1. does your theme have a ‘Post a Job’ button in top menu, similar to other popular job themes, for better user experience? Can you add it to next release.
2. Does your theme supports ability to create a job without creating an account.
3. Do you have a dedicated become an employer page?
thanks
hi,
1. It’s literally 2 minute task, we cann add it for you.
2. Yes
3. You can create such page using elementor
Hi, I have installed this theme on localhost and had to manually verify the license after downloading the activator plugin. However, none of the pages are as those shown in the demo eg. the entire resume submission form is just one long page and not like the one in your demo, dashboard does not have the side menu etc. Could this be related to license activation issue or something else?
Hello, there may be limitations with your hosting that prevent the correct import of demo content but most likely you might have installed WorkScout over a previous theme without cleaning your WordPress. You can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/
Hi, can you share a screenshot of Employer dashboard page (page with [job_dashboard] shortcode) and Candidate dashboard page (page with [candidate_dashboard] shortcode? These look somewhat off in my localhost so I want to compare with how these should look like as per the theme. Thanks!
Job Dashboard https://cln.sh/VNbQbWK6 and Candidate Dashboard https://cln.sh/QkQWTbPx
Hi there, Pre-sale questions : 1) Can we translate to French 2) Can we add another payment gateway compatible woocommerce? 3) with regular licence, can we charge users throught package or an extended licence is needed? 4) Great job folks :)) thx for reply
Hi,
1. yes
2. You can use any gateway that works with WooCommerce
3. Regular
Dzięki
Why did my license code deactivate itself, and why was I requested to install the activator plugin?
Most likely your hosting blocked connection to our server and license couldn’t be validated.
Do you have an issue with woocommerce cart not showing correctly on mobile devices is there some css or plugins that can help thanks in advance greg
We’re not afraid of such issue. In fact cart is not really used in WorkScout
So how do users purchase packages now, should I be using another solution?
Package purchase is part of the Submit Job/Resume/Task process and should be handled on Post a Job page, not via cart
Do you have examples of this, our site was built when you first released work scout so the job packages were sold that way I did look on the documents pages and demo pages thanks greg
Could you specify? Not sure what you mean/ask about.
Well you said that “Submit Job/Resume/Task process and should be handled on Post a Job page, not via cart” but this is done through woo. We are selling jobs through woo should we be doing this another way if so is this documented.
From submit job form user goes directly to woocommerce checkout later, still not sure what you mean
I did not make any customization after activating the theme on my website. all page layouts continue by default.
I am having a problem like this.
the layout of all pages is quite aesthetic before any member logs in.
but after the member logs in, the page designs start to spread widely.
you can see the difference in the screenshots below.
https://ibb.co/WsFnRxW https://ibb.co/prKXWqsDefinitely one of third party plugin you have installed, maybe cache. Maybe this https://docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/theme-layout-shifted-to-the-left-after-theme-installation/
HI in the cart page I am getting an error that says “username is not allowed! This email domain is not allowed!”
Is there a setting I need to turn of/ on in workscout thanks greg.
Hi, I’m not sure what is that, could you send screenshots? Please send us support ticket using this form: https://themeforest.net/item/workscout-job-board-wordpress-theme/13591801/support/contact
I have fixed the issue thanks for your response.
i am in DRcongo, do you provides support here too ? also, is it possible to save and extract all the datas (freelancers, tasks, etc) in spreadsheets or DBs offline ?
We don’t have tool for that but it’s technically possible. For support requests please send us support ticket using this form: https://themeforest.net/item/workscout-job-board-wordpress-theme/13591801/support/contact
I have successfully completed the theme installation process. any member (candidate or employer) other than admin logs in after new registration and the admin menu area (wpadminbar) in the top area, which is specific to administrators, also appears for this type of user.
How can I prevent this situation?
WordPress admin should be disabled for other users than admin but in your case hosting seem to overwrite this setting so you need to try e.g. this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-wp-admin-bar/#:~:text=Activate%20the%20plugin%20through%20the,Enjoy!
