Hi,

The info box on the right lists WordPress 6.9.x under “Software version”. However, the change log from the last theme update (December 24, 2025) doesn’t mention compatibility with WP 6.9. Could you please confirm whether this compatibility has actually been tested and is working?

For this page different header and logo options are set using page settings so you need to adjust them directly on the page. Local page options will override global theme options and you can find more in this article – The Global And Local Settings Info And Troubleshooting.

The theme does not show up as requiring an update in the Update section of Wordpress, is there a reason for this?

What is the recommended way to do the update, and will this remove any custom CSS that has been added?

To update theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from this article – How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins. After you update the theme all of the plugins with available updates will be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

The css added in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS won’t be lost when you update the theme.

Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue where the page gets stuck while loading. The golden line with the animation doesn’t disappear, and the page doesn’t display. If I’m lucky, the page only loads after doing a hard refresh in Chrome (Cmd + Shift + R). Have you experienced a similar problem? I’m using PHP 8.0 and Dolcino 1.6.

I found out that it’s the preloader causing the issue. When I enable the preloader in the Dolcino General Settings, the page often doesn’t load, and the preloader animates infinitely. It doesn’t matter which loader style I use. However, this behavior only occurs in Chrome; it works fine in Safari. The issue happens on every subpage. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

The current version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and with PHP 8.0.

There were some changes in the HTML structure of single product pages in the newer versions of WooCommerce, and this may cause gallery on single product pages to display incorrectly. However, there is css fix for this and you can contact our support to send it to you.

If you are looking for blog template files you can find them on this path wp-content\themes\dolcino\framework\modules\blog

If you want to edit blog posts with page builder, then you should navigate to WPBakery page builder > Role Manager, set “Post Types” to “Custom” and select all post types.

What php version is the maximum I can use with this theme. The WooCommerce detailed shop pages aren’t loading anymore. Theme is at v1.6 and it’s not a plugin conflict.

My Dolcino Core is Version 1.1.4. Is that the most current? Not a lot on this site to interfer so it’s the theme for sure. It’s the WooCommerce product details page that won’t load.

The current version of Dolcino Core plugin is 1.2 (please see change log). You can find the latest version and update it in Appearance > Install Plugins.

Is there any way to make the Portfolio Slider loop? i.e. once it hits the last product start again? Right now it is just stopping on the last item

Good morning, It seems that the “Pastry home” page is not included in the demo you posted. in fact when you select this home page, it is a page identical to “cake store” which is displayed. It is a shame that the file does not offer the 9 templates prepared independently of each other. Indeed, the file only suggests decompressing and setting up the “Global Demo” site, which ultimately implies having to rebuild everything afterwards. However in your instructions you indicate “or choosing to import one of the included demo sites to use as a starting point”. This is not true, there is no choice, everything is imported in “demo mode”

As we previously mentioned, once you import our demo content you will get all the pages and settings which you can adjust to your needs. After that just navigate to Settings > Reading and set your page of choice as your homepage (please see screenshot).

1. There is an option to manage stock and stock quantity for products (please see screenshot).

2. This can be handled by setting product to be a variable products and flavor and type can be added as attributes. You can find more info on how to set up variable products in this link.
