I have been trying to add a list of students to a course using the import CSV, I ensured that i used the format of the exported CSV from the course but It throws an Error. I have attached a Link of an image of the Error.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out! Importing a list of students via CSV can sometimes be tricky, but I’d be happy to guide you through it. Here’s a step-by-step process for importing and exporting users in WordPress.

Exporting Users:

To export users, go to your WordPress Dashboard, and navigate to Users > Export (if available). From there, you can select the desired user roles or criteria and export the file. Alternatively, you can use plugins like User Import Export with Meta or similar to export users to a CSV file.

Importing Users via CSV:

When importing users via CSV, make sure the file is in the correct format required by the plugin or WordPress tool you are using. For example, if you’re importing students into a course, the CSV file should include fields such as:

Username Email Password Other fields as required, like course ID or meta fields.

As the MasterStudy theme and LMS plugin don’t provide a direct import option, you can install a plugin like User Import Export or WP All Import. For MasterStudy LMS, make sure the CSV file contains accurate course IDs and student information.

After installing the plugin, go to the plugin settings, upload your CSV, and map the fields correctly. Then, start the import process and wait for it to complete.

Common Issues and Fixes:

If you encounter an error while importing, ensure your CSV file is saved in UTF-8 format without any extra spaces or special characters. Tools like Excel or Google Sheets can sometimes introduce formatting issues.

Another common issue could be file size restrictions—make sure your CSV file doesn’t exceed the server’s upload limit. Additionally, double-check that all required columns (such as user email, course ID, etc.) are properly filled to avoid errors.

Hello StylemixThemes Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

1. I just want to notify you about a security vulnerability that I noticed in the Edit with course builder option -> Curriculum option -> Text lesson -> In the text editor option, the insert/edit media option is given. This is not secured, as an instructor; if someone adds media, e.g., a private YouTube link or any other secure link, it exposes this link with a right click of the mouse, as you already have the option to add a video lesson that runs via the secured Masterstudy player, so in the text editor, add media option should be removed or secured, same with add image.

Otherwise, anyone can copy this link and share it with everyone. I am sharing the screenshot for more understanding.

2. When we enable reCAPTCHA in theme settings, will it be enabled on the login page? I am using Classic LMS 2 demo import. It’s very important, as every day many website user login account is getting hacked. Also, if you can test the login page to make it compatible with WP2FA or the LoginPress 2FA plugin, it will be really good, as it’s a course marketplace, and as a website owner, it’s very important to protect instructor course data; if it gets hacked, the whole website’s reputation goes to zero and also faces legal issues if sued by the instructor due to losses. Please add extra security on login pages. Very important and humble request.

Thanks.

Hello

Please resend the screenshot link as they are not working. Thank you for bringing up this security issue; I’ve forwarded it to the team. The screenshots would also be very helpful, but they are showing as “not found” on our end.

Regarding your reCAPTCHA query, it works on the login/registration page. You can find the settings in LMS Settings > Google. As for the related 2FA issue, we’re working on it, and it will be released in the future.

Best regards

Hello StylemixThemes___Support,

Thanks for your swift response. Good to hear that LMS Settings > Google reCAPTCHA works on login pages.

and a final question for using MasterStudy for both instructors and learners in WordPress settings—general—New User Default Role—should I keep it on—subscriber?

Hello

Thank you for your cooperation, I have forwarded screenshots to the team.

We have default MasterStudy LMS roles (Admin, Instructor, Subscriber), setting the “New User Default Role” to Subscriber is generally the best option. This role is the most basic and restricts users to viewing content without having the ability to add courses or modify content.

Once users are registered, you can manually assign them the Instructor role if they need to create courses or the Admin role if they need full control over the site.

Hello Support team, I emailed you at services@stylemixthemes.com under the name of nadhem@taniterra.com, for an urgent inquiry about purchasing the lifetime Masterstudy Pro unlimited licenses. Can you please get back to me soon, we are waiting.

Dear Nadhem,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us. We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting back to you. As it’s the weekend, our response times are a bit slower than usual. Rest assured, your request regarding the lifetime Masterstudy Pro unlimited licenses will be addressed as soon as possible. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

If you have any further questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warm regards,

I have an issue where the certificate design feature does not save the file or the certificate after completing the edits. What could be the solution? Honestly, I feel frustrated with this situation, especially since I truly need to restructure the certificates.

Hello there,

Thank you for the request.

Please make sure that your theme and plugins are updated to their latest versions. Once updated, kindly resave the permalinks. If the issue persists, try troubleshooting by deactivating any third-party plugins, including any caching plugins, to identify the cause.

Have a good day!

When there’s only a quiz available in a course, upon finishing the quiz, the results do not immediately appear. Instead, the quiz page reloads, and the start quiz button appears again. If I manually refresh the page, it then shows that the quiz is complete, indicating that refreshing is necessary to see completion. Users may not realize they need to refresh the page to see their quiz as completed and may attempt to retake the quiz unnecessarily.

In the last update, you improved the courses page by setting a default course page to avoid such conflicts, and you also did the same for the checkout page to prevent conflicts. I noticed this on the LMS page settings. You should do the same for the quiz and assignment pages in the next update by creating default pages for both and graying them out to avoid any conflicts.

I hope you’ll relay my observations to the developers so that all quiz and assignment issues related to conflicts, possibly with plugins, can be resolved. I believe this is the only solution.

Hello there,

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed observations and suggestions. We truly value your insights and appreciate your efforts to help us improve the user experience.

At the moment, we have not encountered this issue as a confirmed bug in our tests. To ensure optimal performance, please make sure that your theme and plugins are updated to their latest versions. Additionally, we recommend troubleshooting by temporarily deactivating any third-party plugins, including caching plugins, to identify any potential conflicts that may be causing this behavior.

If the issue persists after following these steps, we kindly ask you to visit your StylemixThemes account and fill out the support form via the following link: https://themeforest.net/user/stylemixthemes

Once we receive your request, we’ll be happy to investigate and troubleshoot the case directly on your site.

We’re committed to ensuring your satisfaction and look forward to resolving this matter for you.

Kind regards

The Assignments page inside the Instructors profile, the one that shows passed, not passed, and pending, is showing 0 across the board – even though that is definitely incorrect. This is the case both in the front-end and the back-end

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

This is indeed an unusual issue, to start resolving this, kindly ensure that your theme and plugins are updated to their latest versions. Once updated, please resave the permalinks by navigating to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard.

If the issue persists, I recommend temporarily deactivating any third-party plugins to see if there is a conflict.

Should the problem continue, please visit your StylemixThemes account and fill out the support form here: https://themeforest.net/user/stylemixthemes.

Hi, I purchased the theme a while ago and I can’t import Udemy courses that are priced “Free”. That means I can’t search for the course names that are released for free by Udemy, only the paid courses show up. Did you figure this out?

Hello Support Team,

I am facing two issues:

Overlapping Issue:

Buttons are overlapping with text, as shown in the attached image. Additionally, text elements are overlapping with each other, causing layout problems. Form Editing Issue:

When editing the Teacher Application Form and clicking the “Save” button, the page turns white, and the changes are not saved. We kindly request your assistance in resolving these problems.

Thank you.

Is it possible to install plugins, create courses and sell on woocommerce without the theme? We spent a lot of time configuring our current theme and can not change it.

Hello

Yes, you can install the MasterStudy LMS Free Plugin directly from your WordPress dashboard by going to Plugins > Add New and searching for MasterStudy LMS. Feel free to try it out and explore its features—it’s a fantastic way to start creating and managing your courses!

If you find it suits your needs and want to unlock even more powerful features, you can later upgrade to the Pro version here: MasterStudy LMS Pro

Inquiry About Invoice and Point-Based Payment System

Hello,

I have a couple of questions regarding the point-based payment system in MasterStudy LMS:

- Could a point-based payment system be implemented, where users recharge their accounts with points using codes linked to the system?

- If your LMS plugin supports this feature, would this payment method generate invoices for the customer, instructor, and platform when the student purchases a course?

- Would these transactions appear in statistics in the same way as payments made via credit cards, PayPal, or bank transfers?

- When building the platform in Arabic using the Arabic version of WordPress, does everything on the site get automatically translated into Arabic? By “everything,” I mean the course creation interface, settings pages for students and instructors, and so on.

Thank you for your assistance!

Hello!

Thank you for your detailed questions. Let me address each one for you:

Point-Based Payment System: Yes, with MasterStudy LMS, users can purchase courses using earned points. For more information about how the point system works, please refer to this detailed guide: https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/masterstudy-theme-documentation/masterstudy-lms-pro-addons/masterstudy-theme-manual-point-system

Building the Platform in Arabic:

- If your site will be entirely in Arabic, you can use the Loco Translate plugin (free) to translate the interface into Arabic.

- For a multilingual site, you can use the WPML plugin (paid) to manage translations.

- Additionally, we offer an RTL demo to help you get started with Arabic layouts.

However, to help resolve this, kindly ensure that your theme and plugins are updated to their latest versions. Once updated, please check if the issue persists by temporarily deactivating any third-party plugins, including cache plugins, as they might be causing a conflict.

I really hope if you can push back the old versions before Dec 2024 update zero problems , that two updates in last Dec and beginning of jan was the worst in the history of Master Study theme. I use these theme since 3 years and never ever see any issues like that

Hello,

Thank you for your detailed message. I understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t go as expected, especially after an update. If you’ve updated both the theme and the bundled plugins (MasterStudy Free and MasterStudy Pro) to their latest versions, such issues should not typically occur.

Kindly ensure that your theme and plugins are updated to their latest versions. After updating, please resave the permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard. Then, check the issue by temporarily deactivating any third-party plugins, including cache or optimization plugins, as they may sometimes cause conflicts.

If the issue persists, please visit your StylemixThemes account and fill out the form here: https://themeforest.net/user/stylemixthemes Our team will troubleshoot the issue directly on your site to ensure everything is resolved.

We genuinely appreciate your continued support, and I hope we can get this sorted out for you soon.

Hello,

I just wanted to check in and see if there have been any updates on your end. Did you have a chance to try the troubleshooting steps I provided earlier?

I hope that updating the components will help resolve the issues, as some of the problems you mentioned are quite old and may already have been fixed in recent updates.

It’s possible that you may be using older versions of the MasterStudy components, which could be causing the issue. If you haven’t already, please let me know if you’ve filled out the form for further assistance. We’d be happy to check your website and continue troubleshooting to get everything running smoothly.

Thank you for your continued patience, and I’m here to help you through this!

Best regards,

Working with the Primary theme, and plugin – all updated. We use Elementor (all updated). The Elementor menu no longer shows dropdown menus, and while in mobile, the hamburger menu won’t open. Everything is up to date, it isn’t a caching issue – nor any other plugins (after checking each one individually). It’s something to do with Masterstudy and Elementor. I’ve tried many of the fixes that I could find after Googling )making sure overflow is set properly, making sure z-depth is fine), and I’ve attempted to recreate the menu as well. No dice. This is genuinely a really big issue, it essentially breaks the site on mobile, and is very inconvenient even on the desktop. Please, please help. And please, I’m begging you, it’s not another plugin nor a caching issue… _

Hello,

I completely understand how frustrating this issue must be, especially since you’ve already tried so many potential fixes. Thank you for your patience. Since it’s affecting both desktop and mobile views, and you’ve ruled out caching and other plugins, it’s likely something specific between Masterstudy and Elementor. Please ensure that there are no conflicting settings or customizations in Masterstudy that could be affecting the menu’s behavior.

If none of these steps work, it would be best to investigate your website further. Please visit the StylemixThemes account and fill out the form here: https://themeforest.net/user/stylemixthemes . We’ll troubleshoot the issue directly on your site.

Thanks again for your patience—we’ll work together to get this resolved as quickly as possible!
