This field is not displayed on the frontend by default at all. But you can use our “Product meta value” and specify the following key “_global_unique_id”.

Your screenshots show SKU field, not EAN. EAN is not displayed anywhere on your website by WooCommerce by default.

- I would like to be able to add the prefix “EAN” before the EAN code value, like with “SKU”.

- The EAN code was not displayed for the variant, despite it being added to the variant. The EAN code is displayed for a simple product.

I am using WPbakery and now this plugins needs to be updated from 8.1 to 8.2 . I used to update newer version through Appearance – install plugin or Woodmart – plugin? The accessibility requirement for websites comes into force from June 28, 2025. Websites should comply with the legal requirements of the EAA by this date to avoid legal consequences.
It is therefore urgently necessary that the widgets have the correct schema, otherwise the website with theme core widgets cannot meet the accessibility requirements.
Question: Does woodmart already have the topic on the roadmap? Or woodmart users have to change the theme soon in order to meet legal requirements with another theme that works on correct schema? Some theme developers have already started adapting the widgets into new code base and make them working correct regarding EAA. So third-party accessibility tools and screen reader can work with content that came from theme core widgets. We have already contacted Elementor. They refer to the woodmart widgets which are used and that you need to give us feedback about that widgets. We have also contacted third-party service providers who make websites accessible tools for browsers. These also refer to the theme which we used and that it must be checked which widgets are used. This is a really very dramatic and important topic, if you haven’t already addressed it. In europe ALL websites shoud fulfill all legal regulations based on accessibility legal law. The deadline is for June 28, 2025. So its important for all europe webmasters to have widgets in project that will work with accessibility rules. For example elementor started to improve their core widgets. What about yours?

A lot of websites have massive problems with plugins foraccessibility, because their widgets are not ready for it. I will notice down that your widgets are ready for that. Is that correct?

There are no specific technical requirements to the code in this act. It requires your website to be accessible, and our theme doesn’t have any accessibility issues at the moment that may influence this. But note that your website accessibility will depend on a lot of other factors as well, including your website configuration, like typography, sizes, spacing, colors, contrast, titles for images, and a lot more.

It is how the WooCommerce plugin works by default. You can switch to the default theme and see the same behavior.
ok but if there is description for category, it shoudl stay there independently of the current page. If you are still in the same category right?
in pirnciple if I am on the second or tenth page of the same category, description shoud stay there, or at elast this setting should be inside conditions of your theme on layout page
WooCommerce displays it on the first page only. Our theme doesn’t influence this mechanism.
Understandably, but logically if there is an option to display description on archive page and ability to edit it with layout templates in your theme setting. Your custmers should be able to set it to display also for paginations.
because logically it has no sense to display it anyway if its not displayed also for other pages in the same category.
It is intentionally hidden from other pages by the WooCommerce plugin for SEO purposes. Unfortunately, we can’t affect this in our theme.
