Quick question, on the mobile menu is there a way to make when you click the word the drop down menu appears? Currently you have to click the little arrow.

Yes, you can enable that functionality in the Salient options panel under Header Navigation > Off-Canvas Menu Tab, using the “Off-Canvas Menu Dropdown Behavior” option.

talking about blog excerpts, either there are bugs or it’s functioning wrong. If I have “Automatic Post Excerpts” disabled or enabled, the blog-query element always shows the posts with an escerpt. Besides, it seems that the excerpt consists only of h1-h2 headrings but not texts. The only way to have a proper excerpt for each post is to create a manual one in the backend field. Moreover, if the posts are translated in a multilanguage website, excerpts aren’t shown in the translated language.

Most blog styles already utilize an automatic excerpt – only the “Classic” styles will not and will be affected by toggling that option. If you’re seeing missing content in you excerpt, it could be because of the elements you’re using in the post content. Have you tried placing your text in regular text blocks or responsive text blocks? Not all page builder elements will be utilized inside of the excerpt.
We’ve tested the excerpt with WPML, and can not replicate any display issues. If you would like like us to take a look into your specific multi-lingual setup, feel free to open a ticket on the support forum in regards

Change alignment of Nectar Slider on mobile>>
Hello, is there any way to change the alignment of the slider on mobile only? I now have a nectar slider where the main content of the image is on the left, and the text on the right.
However, on mobile the main part of the image falls away and the text is compressed on the right (layout is not nice). Is there any way to fix/improve this?
I would like to align the text full width (or center) and also move the image more center, perhaps with a custom margin-left push.

Hello, this seems to center align the text, but the image is stil not offset. It would be good to have some more options for mobile layouts where you can shift the background layout and text alignment.

Hi team,
I’m experiencing a major issue with my website. After activating a widget in the off-canvas section (which had “(beta)” in its name), the entire site stopped working.
I’ve already updated the theme and all plugins, but the issue persists. I can’t access the widget area to make any changes, the off-canvas section isn’t functioning at all, and other features, like “image comparison”, are also broken.
Could you please help me resolve this?

We don’t provide a widgets in Salient with a “beta” tag. Can you specify what the widget was and if it was added through a plugin? If it’s part of a plugin, yon can likely bypass the issue immediately by disabling the plugin which is adding it. Feel free to open a ticket on the support forum in regards so that we can follow up.

It’s been asked before but I cannot replicate this clip path effect. There’s absolutelly no documentation about it, neither anything on the web. I have played around with it, it’s impossible to get a grip of it. The top row must be set to “sticky”, but what about the second row? Can you publish some tutorial?

Hi – I am making updates to my website on the staging server. At the bottom, the arrow that normally shows up and indicates to the user to scroll down does not show when the page initially loads until I begin to scroll down.

This issue seems to have just occurred today as I was changing the typography settings on staging. It now uses a different font than what’s on the live site.

Hi I do not have a paid subscription for support. This is what I see on a desktop monitor from Chrome, Safari, and Firefox when I initially get on the page and when I refresh…when I scroll down slightly, it will appear, but not on the initial load

That’s due to your screen size vs the offset for the element animations. You can set a further “Column Animation Offset” to ensure they trigger in the column > animation settings. A value such as “100%” should fix it.

You have lazy loading on the logo from a third-party performance plugin. That file will need to be excluded from lazy loading in order to have it available immediately for calculations.

In the Salient options panel > Header Navigation > Transparent Header Effect tab, you can disable the “Header Permanent Transparent” option to have the effect be limited to the top prior to scrolling.

The tabs will inherit from your typography settings for “Form and Category Lables” in the Salient options panel > Typography > General HTML elements tab.
If you’re referring to the border below the tabs, you can use:

Can you please help with some CSS? There’s always a top-bottom padding in single blog posts, and I cannot get rid of it. I also want to create a background for the “social-share” + “related post” sections, but the class is nested into other containers and I cannot filter it out.
I have tried .related-post-wrap .row-bg-wrap for the “related-post” and also .single-post[data-bg-header=”true”] .container-wrap but they modify the whole website.

Hello, the ‘Sticky Content Sections’ don’t seem to function properly. See example here: https://360impactagency.nl/test/
I have put the template on a test page, without making any changes. On the last section the text doesn’t continue scrolling up. It sticks to the bottom of the photo, and the last photo change happens when the photo scrolls out of screen already.
On your demo website it seems to function, so I’m not sure what’s wrong. I’m on the latest version of the theme.

On the live demo, we add a 15vh bottom padding to the last inner row. You can do the same if you want to replicate the trigger points on your end.

Hello! Firstly I want to say again, congratulations for the template, maybe the best in all Envato inventory (no joking). Now, I have a question that I cannot figure out how to implement: Is there any way to have conditional header and footer on the template, based on the page? Example: I want on Homepage to have the main header/footer and on special pages to load another header with different logo/socials/off canvas sidebar and also different socials on footer.
Is this something doable? Needs to work on WP Bakery or on template files to do it properly?

Since you need to switch multiple global elements across sets of pages, the most straightforward and easiest approach to manage would be using a multisite installation. If you don’t want to take that route, you would need to modify your child theme to override the functions/partials with your desired conditional logic.

PS: It would be fun and useful I think to use such ability in the future updates. In case, a website needs conditional headers/footers and even Off Canvas menus.
