Hi, is it quite easy to switch templates on JNews? What’s the process of ding it without losing anything. I’m using one of the demo templates from the list and would like to use a different one to give the site a newer look.

We apologize for the delay. Unfortunately, when you import another demo, settings like customizer, widgets, and menus will be reset to the new demo settings. This means that all changes like logos, ads, and menus will be lost. If you want to switch demos, we recommend doing so on your staging or testing site first.
That said, we strongly recommend that you back up your site’s data before making any major changes like this.

Feature request:
01. Add Cloudflare Turnstile support for Jnews Theme custom login/register/comment forms. Or at least make Jnews Theme compatible with “Simple Cloudflare Turnstile” free plugin.
02. Add option to enable “Sign in with Google” feature for Jnews Theme custom login/register/comment forms. Or at least make Jnews Theme compatible with “Site Kit by Google” free plugin to integrate this feature.
03. When “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” option is selected, comments are not shown to the visitors who are not logged in. It will be better if comments are shown and a link to log in is offered.

Our Support Team has already added IDs to each field in the JNews Metabox.
We are unsure about your site’s automation system, but it is important to note that the JNews Metabox data is stored with a different structure for each field. Additionally, the fields in the JNews Metabox are rendered using custom JavaScript, meaning the fields are not directly rendered within the HTML element.

Currently, the JNews theme is not yet fully compatible with Gutenberg.
JNews theme elements are best utilized with Elementor or WPBakery Page Builder for creating pages.
However, you are welcome to use the Gutenberg Editor for creating posts.
