Please note that millions of users update the theme, so a rollback isn’t possible on our end. However, you can revert to a previous version using a rollback plugin. We always recommend backing up your site and testing updates on a staging environment first.

After the latest update, several issues have arisen on our client’s website.
The “User Enrolled Courses” page does not display any courses on mobile devices; instead, it only shows a loading indicator. This is an urgent matter, as none of the students can access their courses. Additionally, the browser console log reports the following error on this page:
stmLmsStartTimers is not defined
Moreover, the following request takes approximately 12 seconds to complete:

Hi, some PreBuy questions, - Can I create questions by category? - and then create quizzes only with a defined Number of questions from selected category, i.e. Cateogry1 has 10 questions and Category2 has 6 questions, then I create a Quiz with 10 question, 6 random questions from Category1 and 4 randome questions from Category2. is it possible? -Can I Import Quizzes and Questions from csv File?

Yes, you can create questions by category. While selecting questions, you have the option to search by category and include them accordingly. Additionally, you can enable the automated question randomizer for a more dynamic quiz experience.

Currently, there’s no direct option to import questions from a CSV file. However, since questions are stored as a custom post type, you can use WordPress’ import/export tool to transfer questions between MasterStudy LMS websites.

I Found a BUG in the recently updated STM Options theme setting; Here it is: Under the Typography – on the Menu font selection there is Font Weight & Style if we select say Bold 700 this applies to entire website body text style…. i tried to change it and when it changes it applies to entire body font text… Please investigate and fix.

i updated the complete child theme and theme files and plugins manually, i found that when ever the auto update notification alerts on the dashboard i click it but it failed to update every time, now i manually updated and it fixed…

After the latest update, the way WooCommerce products work has changed. Previously, when a student purchased a course through WooCommerce checkout, it appeared in a separate tab on the dashboard, displaying all MasterStudy courses.
However, this feature is no longer available, only WooCommerce products are shown there now. Please note that MasterStudy courses can still be sold directly through WooCommerce without the need for duplication.

I believe there was a misunderstanding. Typically, LMS courses appear as products in the WooCommerce product list within the admin panel. However, after the latest update, the courses no longer appear in the product list.

When a course is sold, can the payment be sent directly sent to each instructor without admin interaction? We do not take a percentage of the sales and would prefer the payment from a student go directly to each individual instructor.
I see the website course loads very slow and the certificate builder has issues with image on certificate if i place image on the certificate its not saving, and when i checked the load issue with chrome console i found one file referenced but its not found on the plugin folder this is the url:
wp-content/plugins/masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system-pro/assets/js/certificate-builder/qrcode.min.js?ver=4.5.3
there is no such file exists and the theme tries to referance or calls that file, which makes the course page lods very slow looking for that file, please check and fix the issue.

i tried downloading the plugin folder the file even don’t exist there, that means its not in your provided plugin folder, please recheck everything once again at your end and fix the issues like these at the first place.
I regularly update everything when ever i get a notification, but missing files never get updated dont know why, you investigate it at your end why it failed?

No, you don’t have to pay anything extra. For subscriptions, you can use Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro). It’s free, and MasterStudy has a seamless integration with it.
Regarding the license, there’s no need to purchase additional ones. A single license is sufficient for use in a multisite setup across all subdomains. You only need to activate it on the main domain, and it will work for all subdomains.

Is there any way to sell internationally? multi currency… with the feature to change the currency based on the location the students from? i found some plugins that works with woo commerce but those will not work with master study… any solution? please guide me.

i fixed this by adding the woo commerce checkout short code, it was using the old checkout page, i think you need to update the documentation with clear instructions how to configure this with woo commerce… its not available in the documentation. anyway i fixed this…

I updated the woo commerce to Version 9.7.1 and it says Your theme (Master Study Child version 3) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. My LMS eLearning PRO Version 4.5.3 Basic WP LMS Version 3.5.18

The warnings you see are from WooCommerce and don’t impact your website’s functionality. Since WooCommerce updates frequently—sometimes twice a week—its templates can become outdated in the theme, even if a theme update was just released. We don’t control WooCommerce’s update schedule, but the next theme version will include the latest template updates.
