Hi, I haven’t used my theme in a long time and the domain I used it on no longer exists. When trying to activate my theme on my site, it says:
The purchase code is already being used on another domain.
And I don’t use it. How can we fix this please!

You can import the slider via the prebuilt import area. This can be done by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard → Avada → Prebuilt websites. Click on the site whose sliders you want to import and only select the slider option, Screenshot here

This depends on how the notice is being setup, if its setup using the legacy method, kindly check inside Avada > Global Options > Footer Tab
if its added using the custom footer, you may need to edit the footer section and change it inside the text box element.

Dear Avada team!
I am in the process of developing a website and faced a very simple (in my opinion) problem:
I have to assign NEWs Page with my own markup as Posts Page (Blog page).
1) It seems very simple: I’ve created rather complex PAGE named News with different sections, witch displayed different posts categories and (this is important!) special element – NextPage. All working amazing.
2) I need breadcrumbs for my complex navigation through posts categories and tags. All good with categories and tags, but – the breadcramb’s link to standard Posts ( the page News) is empty, because system does not know which page is Posts page. Another words: Home / Posts / Category: Home and Categories work well, Posts linked to home page.
3) Ok – I set News as Posts page at Site settings >> reading. All breadcrumbs start working well, but the page News has lost all markup ! Now it gets it from Avada options > Blog > General blog. How to do the simplest: page News should has it’s own markup and breadcrumbs should know, that page News – the Posts page?
The first think – to disable Avada global options for General blog, but there is no such possibilities in Avada, why?.. (and some themes has the wonderful string INSIDE global setting – set the default posts page which disables all themes markup for that page).
The second thing was – to create custom layout for the News Page. Indeed, I created it – and Avada system begins ignore Global options for Blog and gets the content from custom layout. But… The special element Next Page DOES NOT WORK in custom content layouts!.. At all… So this option is not suitable for me, I will have a lot of news, and the first page has unique design, the rest – only post cards…
Simple task – how to force Avada understand that News page is for a Posts (with own page markup) and breadcrumbs link for Posts will be the correct pass to that page News?

after update to last version my site not works! what is the problem?

There is no issue with our latest update and the site should work as it was working previous to the update, the update contains one security fix and an embed fix and has no impact on anything else, kindly make sure that your update was carried forward properly in this case.

I bought the theme and used it for a website that I started building, then I decided to go with a different them instead. I deleted the files from that website domain but now it’s saying the purchase code is invalid. Surely the code should be valid if it was no longer being used on the previous site?

The purchase code is registered multiple times so that’s why its registration is limited. Please reset / unregister the purchase code from your support account -> Licenses – My Avada You must be logged into your account to see that page.
Do not remove the purchase code from there but click the blue color Link Icon. Now try to register purchase code on your actual website and see if that works.

Hi, I have deployed Avada, on the desktop, the pages load fast but on mobile, the same page takes 13 seconds to load sometimes. I have done the speed optimization wizard. Has anyone else experienced this?

How do I activate the “Read more” functionallity in a text block? When i try to click it, its not working and by pressing shift alt T its also not working.

The individual tour pages on the Tour Operator example website do not import. Please correct.

I have just checked and confirmed that the single page import of tour operator works fine, I could import the single page just fine using our studio tab.

I was disappointed with the support from the Avada team. I’ve purchased many licenses because the theme is very good, but the support leaves a lot to be desired. Their responses are always minimal; they don’t read the entire ticket and respond to the first question with minimal effort, with little work as possible.
For support that requires more than a minute of their time, they send you to contact and hire an expert. Some minor issues that, with their experience, wouldn’t take more than 5 minutes, they claim are outside the support policy. I’ve always used two themes, Avada and Enf*, and the difference in support is abysmal.
I’ve always believed that behind a great product, there should be excellent support—something that Avada lacks.

You have logged in 3 tickets with our support team, one of them was resolved in a single response while other two are actually customisation requests, like every other theme we have a support policy and as much as we would love to provide support for customisation, that is not something that is doable, for that we suggest our users to hire a 3rd party service as customisation into original theme code is not something that is part of support scope.

I’m sorry, but you are mistaken. In one ticket, which contained two questions about the same subject, support only responded to one of the questions. They mentioned that its customization was based on styling because the theme doesn’t work with some of the new WordPress/WooCommerce features, that I have to use Avada options.
The second ticket, regarding the style of an icon, was related to a theme error/styling issue. Of the two questions related to this topic, only one was answered, and I figured out the other one on my own.
The third ticket was about a snippet of code to add a US prefix to pricing on the WooCommerce cart and checkout pages only. If the snippet works on two different premium themes and the default WordPress themes (I tested it on two), that’s four themes where it works. If it doesn’t work in Avada, then something is likely wrong with Avada.
So, let’s agree to disagree, as this is neither my first theme, nor my first website, nor my first project.

Any feature that is not a part of theme yet, still comes into customisation and we have a policy regarding that, for any customisation or plugin / code integration that comes up often, we always ask our customers to send us a feature request where we can then track it and implement it based on how many requests are made for that specific feature, unfortunately it is not possible to provide hands on support specific to custom code.

Hello Ammar, I appreciate your response. However, I want to point out that on Friday, you replied in the live chat stating that you were not willing to provide me with any information, despite my client having purchased the theme (as confirmed by the registration screenshot in the WordPress admin area). Unfortunately, my client does not have access to the purchase code because the previous agent refuses to provide it. Even with this proof of purchase, you declined to answer a simple question regarding the theme configuration in the cart. Instead, I am being asked to repurchase the theme just to receive support for a setting that should already be documented. I don’t believe this is the right approach. If I had received proper assistance, I could have easily convinced my client to repurchase the theme and subscribe to the annual support plan. However, this experience has been disappointing. Hi, I repeat, my client does not have access to the purchase code, but as you could see from the screenshot I sent you, the theme is correctly installed on the website with WordPress, and part of the code is clearly visible. You could also verify the associated domain, which should be recognizable to you. Obviously, you do not want to help me, and I understand that this is a policy that some may consider acceptable. However, it is not fair to those who are already suffering from an injustice caused by a developer who has taken ownership of the theme’s code and refuses to provide it. Obviously, in conclusion, we will be forced either to change the theme or to pay you another $69 just to get an answer that would have cost you only one second of your precious time! “When you purchase the Avada Website Builder, the purchase code is generated for the account of purchase, when the purchase is finalized, which is what is needed to register.
In this instance, if you do not have access to the Marketplace account of the original purchase, you will need to purchase a new purchase code. Once you have done this, the purchase code needs to be used to register Avada. You won’t lose the current content and you do not have to reinstall Avada. Before making these changes, adding your new purchase code, updating, or otherwise, we would always recommend backing up your website.
