Dear Flatsome, I’m using your theme in combination with WooCommerce. It seems that when we add either ‘Featured Products’ or ‘Best Selling Products’ section to homepage via UX builder, certain options like ‘Add to Cart’ and ‘Rating’ are not displayed, even with the options toggled ON.

Please see the attached screenshot: https://snipshot.io/OH2QtYe.png

What steps can we take to make ‘Add to Cart’ button appear in accordance to the options selected?

For other pages where products appear in a thumbnail format eg. domain-name/shop/ and domain-name/product-category/categoryname, how can we also ensure that the ‘Add to Cart’ button appears in the layout without the need to click on either QuickView or the Product URL itself?

Thank you for this super versatile theme!

“Featured Products” and “Best Selling Products” elements get those options from the Customizer. As long as the options are enabled, they should be displayed correctly. Please perform basic troubleshooting as guided here.

Dear UXThemes, thanks for the reply. You wrote ““Featured Products” and “Best Selling Products” elements get those options from the Customizer”. What is “the Customizer”? Is a special plugin that we need to install? We currently are using UXbuilder that came with Flatsome theme. I have performed all the troubleshooting steps at https://docs.uxthemes.com/article/202-missing-customizer-or-ux-builder including installing theme on a brand new domain/root builder with brand new demo content + PHP settings tweaked. I regret to inform to inform you that this technical issue still persists.

Please see the new attached screenshot: https://snipshot.io/kRBgWYp.png Once again, what steps can we take to make ‘Add to Cart’ button appear in accordance to the options selected?

Could you check the related options in Flatsome>Theme Options>WooCommerce>Product Catalog->Product Box?

Could you submit a support ticket here?

To see if you can help me put a Top Bar

Please enable the “Flatsome>Theme Options>Header>Top Bar -> Enable Top Bar” option.

Hi. Is it possible to incorporate a ‘VIEW PRODUCT’ button to the Flatsome woocommerce ux_products style=”overlay” shortcode? Thank you

It can be done via custom code only.

Hello Support,

Presales query

1) Is there any prebuilt template/ preset for a pens and stationary store?

2) is there any inbuilt option to get banners over product category page like https://penshelf.com/product-category/brand/aristo/

3) Is there any prebuilt option to add a similar banner every 2-3 rows in product catalog?

4) Do you do customizations support?

  1. We don’t have a ready-made template for pen and stationery shops. However, you can build virtually anything with Flatsome. If you’d like, you can join our official Facebook Community and get ideas by looking at website examples from our users that match your industry.
  2. Apart from the Marquee element on that page, you can easily create a similar design, and even much better, with Flatsome.
  3. No. Flatsome uses the default WooCommerce category page structure for maximum compatibility. However, you can add such elements with custom code using WooCommerce hooks.
  4. Unfortunately, we don’t offer design or customization services.

Hi there,

in Germany all stores must comply with web accessibility laws soon and there some small issues in flatsome mainly, that <main>

Will you change and comply with this soon? Cause otherwise all German customers can not use Flatsome anymore.

Example test failed with 35% of 100: https://www.accessibilitychecker.org/audit/?website=https://demos.flatsome.com/demos/shop-demos/classic-shop/&flag=ww

Our development team and accessibility expert are currently working on this. This is our top priority now, and we’ll finish it soon.

Hi there. Presales: do you have a working live admin demo to test?

Unfortunately, there is no admin demo of Flatsome at the moment.

Hi, is there an option to remove the CHILD CATEGORY from the links at the main category page?

For example: Current link: https://www.mydomain.com/product-category/child_category/product1 The link that I want: https://www.mydomain.com/product-category/product1

You can use a plugin like Permalink Manager – Lite or Permalink Manager WooCommerce for this.

You guys said: UXThemes_Support Author Team: Absolutely. As soon as we publish our new Flatsome Builder, you’ll see many design improvements and ready-to-use templates in the Flatsome Studio.

Oh NO!! Don’t mess with the best! I love this builder just the way it is. What could you possible add? It’s perfect!

You’ll be able to use UX Builder and Flatsome (Block) Builder on the same content.

https://supablox.com

But the current Flatsome won’t change, right? I can’t imagine I would use the software on supablox – it looks like it makes posts with different font styles and page backgrounds. I really don’t want to go back to Elementor – I hate the software.

You don’t need to worry about this. Flatsome Builder will make Flatsome fully compatible with WordPress’s new block system. This means Flatsome will work seamlessly with the block systems of WordPress, WooCommerce, and plugins. If you wish, you’ll be able to convert content you’ve created with UX Builder into Flatsome Builder content, or if you prefer, you can continue using just UX Builder. The choice will be yours.

How do you make it ‘fade in right’ (or left) Faster? I’ve purchased this theme … what? 4 times – now a client wants it to scroll in faster – and I can’t find that control anywhere in the column settings under Animate.

You can try the CSS below.

@media (prefers-reduced-motion: no-preference) {
  .slider [data-animate], [data-animate] {
    transition: filter .3s,transform .3s,opacity .3s ease-in;
  }
}

Thank you

Additional question. For the fade in, can I assume that the trigger is the column? So when the column is visible on the screen that is what triggers the column to slide in?

For this template: https://studio.flatsome.com/blocks/landing-page-split/ The column is below the area where you actually see the content. Padding 65px, 45px, 45px, 45px Margin -450px, 0px, 0px, 160px

Scroll down slowly, you’ll notice that the the column doesn’t scroll in until you are beyond the image – so it’s easy to scroll quickly past the image and never see the slide in information.

If that’s it, then I have my answer. If not, I’ll keep looking.

Are you guys going to add some more content to the Flatsome studio library? Would appreciate it so much. Great theme!

Absolutely. As soon as we publish our new Flatsome Builder, you’ll see many design improvements and ready-to-use templates in the Flatsome Studio.

wordpress 6.8.1 not supported?

getting blank page when editing the flatsome theme setting

load-scripts.php?c=0…m-ready&ver=6.8.1:2 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘data’) at eval (eval at template (load-scripts.php?c=0…&ver=6.8.1:10:15270), <anonymous>:11:65) at e (load-scripts.php?c=0…&ver=6.8.1:10:15343) at wp-util.min.js?ver=6.8.1:2:361

WordPress v6.8.1 is supported by the latest version of Flatsome (v3.19.12). This is more of a caching issue. Please contact your hosting provider for the error logs.

How do I get the blue area around this image to be transparent? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DlHv_ykW97ePPHNtvAsH7R69MsJxOsVf/view?usp=sharing

It’s difficult to say anything without seeing the page. Do you have a chance to share the URL?

I figured it out. Thanks.

Is it possible to round the corners of a grid in the theme to 10px? Or does this only work with CSS? Does anyone have the CSS code? Thanks.

If anyone is looking for a fix to the HUGE GAP issue under the alt-font or really any text. Use this in the text box: class=”alt-font” style=”margin-bottom: 0px !important; Change the size to whatever you want. I gave up trying to sort it, using style=”margin-bottom: 0px !important; is simple and saves you A LOT of headaches.

The original theme CSS file does not use a margin property under the .alt-font class. Please check your custom CSS codes or a plugin conflict.

Is there anyway to translate Load More Button, I’ve tried Loco Translate but it didnt work

The “Load More” button text is translatable so you can translate it with Loco Translate. Please ensure you’re working on the correct language with the same language code as WordPress and that you click the Sync button before searching for the “Load More” text.

I’m using your theme in combination with WooCommerce and external product images (via a dropshipping plugin like Woosa). These images are rendered without a height attribute in the HTML, which results in a poor CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) score in Google PageSpeed.

https://prnt.sc/orMhGUC5393_

Google considers this a layout shift because the image only takes up space after it has loaded.

To fix this, I’m currently using a custom PHP function that calculates the image height dynamically using getimagesize(). However, this severely slows down the website — especially on product archive pages with many items.

function add_height_attribute_to_product_gallery() { global $post; if (is_product() && has_post_thumbnail($post->ID)) { $image = wp_get_attachment_image_src(get_post_thumbnail_id($post->ID), ‘full’); if ($image) { $height = $image2 + 700; // Hoogte van de afbeelding + 700px echo ’<script>jQuery(document).ready(function() { jQuery(”.woocommerce-product-gallery img”).attr(“height”, ”’ . $height . ’”); });</script>’; } } } add_action(‘wp_footer’, ‘add_height_attribute_to_product_gallery’);

My request: would you consider optionally adding a height attribute to tags for product images — including those loaded lazily or coming from external sources?

This would significantly improve Core Web Vitals performance without relying on heavy server-side processing.

WooCommerce controls product images’ height. This is not a theme issue. Could you contact Woo support for this?

I’ve set an image as a background under the Customizing Layout (Framed) option. How can I make that image clickable so it redirects to a single product page? Thanks

Since the background image is added directly to the HTML tag via the CSS background-image property, it’s not possible to add a hyperlink to the image. It needs custom coding.

I am using UX blocks and make Grid Item, Slider. Images cut in window. How to fit image to window?
