I’m writing to report an issue with the TagDiv Composer on my WordPress site (https://upco.vn). The Save button frequently fails to work while editing pages or templates. Sometimes it works, but often it gets stuck or unresponsive.
Here are the technical details of my current setup: - Theme: Newspaper v12.7.1 - Installed Demo: BlockChain PRO (Demo ID: blockchain_pro) - Mobile Theme: Enabled - WordPress Version: 6.8.1 - PHP Version: 8.1.25 (LiteSpeed server) - WP Memory Limit: 256 MB/request - WP_DEBUG: False - WP Multisite: No - No caching plugin installed
Theme & Site Info:
️ PHP Configuration: - `max_execution_time`: 3000 - `post_max_size`: 512M - `max_input_vars`: 3000 - `SUHOSIN`: Not installed - TagDiv Composer v5.4.1 - TagDiv Cloud Library - TagDiv Opt-In Builder - TagDiv Mobile Theme - WooCommerce - Jetpack - AMP - MailPoet - Google for WooCommerce - Pinterest for WooCommerce - TikTok for WooCommerce - Akismet - Deactivated Jetpack, AMP, TikTok, MailPoet, and Google plugins - Tested in incognito mode and multiple browsers - Checked memory and input limits (seem adequate) - Confirmed latest theme & plugin versions installed
What I’ve Tried:
⚠️ System Warning: The theme system status page notes: > “Yellow status means the site works on frontend, but may cause problems in wp-admin. Memory notice: the theme is tested with 40MB/request, but WooCommerce needs 256MB.”
I believe my setup already meets this memory recommendation, yet the issue still occurs inconsistently.
Could you please help me investigate this further? I’m open to sharing admin access if needed.

That is very unusual. I suspect that the issue is caused by this raw HTML element here https://prnt.sc/I7yXAT75HcZN it contains a style which affects all the div containers in the page on hover https://prnt.sc/qYDwBbdctwAI If that code must apply only to that button, it should be modified to apply only to it. Could be something related to permissions. I suggest updating the theme manually, through wordpress or using a file manager, the steps are mentioned in this guide https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ If you need help with it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website, admin login, also access to cPanel or FTP or something similar if possible.

Hi, I am testing a kids shop with woocommerce lottery plugin and getting a funny error. I guess there is some sort of clash with css or something and I would appreciate if you could give me some help where I should look at to resolve it. Talking to chatgpt I found out that tag cloud library has a clash with this plugin. When I deactivate the cloud library plugin, wc lottery error disappears but I get cloud library related errors now. While I wait, I will continue talking to chatgpt

Does the respective plugin have a shortcode for displaying the lottery perhaps? If it does, try adding in it the product template, in a column text element. Sometimes plugin conflicts are not that easily solved however. If you can try other plugins that provide this lottery, I suggest testing others as well.

To explain a bit, if you need a special category template to use on a specific category, then you can create it and then set it for that category only. For example I want to use this template https://prnt.sc/y887EFHLWoC5 on the Fashion category https://prnt.sc/58nJNucTrnfh Then that category uses that template.
Concerning the issue however, from what I can see on your website, in the new category template you created you placed the big grid in the footer instead of the content of the template. So the grid appears everywhere on the website because its in the footer. Please edit the new category template with the composer and drag the grid up in the content. Posts can be locked via the lockers, and these can have payment plans set for them. For the payment plans you can set the duration of the subscription, it can be 2 days for example https://prnt.sc/QKiY96Uzl0rV So all the posts that are using a locker with that plan set for it, will be unlocked for the subscriber, for 2 days. You can have multiple lockers if needed, with multiple different plans. I received an email from Envato Market (do-not-reply@market.envato.com) saying: “We’d like to let you know that an update to your item Newspaper – News & WooCommerce WordPress Theme by tagDiv is now available.”
However, I don’t see any update available in my Newspaper Theme Panel.

The latest update was 12.7.1, which was a security update https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-changelog/ The update should appear in the theme updates panel after pressing the check for updates button. Or the theme can be updated manually. In case there are any issues please let us know.

Hello. I bought the Newspaper – News & WooCommerce WordPress Theme, for multilingualism I use the polylang plugin, but I noticed that it does not work correctly with the author’s pages. Question, is the polylang plugin compatible with this theme? How can I solve my problem? Thank you!

For a multilingual website we recommend using WPML if possible, because our theme and especially the cloud templates work fine with it. The polylang plugin as far as I know does not work with our cloud template system unfortunately. Most of our users use the WPML, so our developer team made adjustments in the theme in order to be supported fully. Other plugins may not work correctly with the theme. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Also if maybe you are using any image optimization plugins or services, these will compress the images and some loss in quality is to be expected. Update to 12.7.1 clean out all my theme settings, how to revert it ? All settings for every single page I did are gone, even i had to register again the theme
Old settings doesnt work, can not dowload and active 12.7 … WTH Devs ?!

That is not normal. The theme should never reset itself after updating it. But if it did, you could try restoring the theme from the theme panel https://prnt.sc/1YHJxCHK1Zih or restoring a website backup if there one available.
