I’m just considering the purchase of this theme but browsing the various demos I noticed some issues: ‘404’ page when clicking on ‘Blog’ or ‘Journal’ link and video not displayed in slide up mode. Is this theme still in development? I don’t want to be faced with an unusable theme once purchased. I would also be curious to know if DailyMotion is supported

Regarding the 404 pages on “Blog” or “Journal” links: We’ve recently performed some server-side updates which may have temporarily caused broken links on certain demo pages. These have already been fixed, but if you come across any remaining issues, feel free to let us know – we’ll take care of it right away.
As for the video display in slide-up mode: we’ve reviewed and corrected a small rendering issue there as well. Everything should now behave as expected.
And yes – Brooklyn is actively maintained and developed. You can rely on continuous updates and support.

Hey! the blog issue is actually solved while the video display issue in slide-up mode seems to persist, at least in demos 7, 27 and 46.
I can’t confirm issues with 7 and 46 – it might be a cache problem on your end. As for 27, the fact that no video plays is not a bug, but thanks for the heads-up. The video that was linked no longer exists, so I need to replace it!
Hu guys, The preview page https://preview.themeforest.net/item/brooklyn-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/6221179 and your main site https://unitedthemes.com/ is down. It’s just a white screen. WP 6.8.1 solved this issue in my end, but you might have different issues.

Hi, are there some reason because Portfolio Management included into downloaded is a minus version than automatic theme updates? Into download file i have Versión 5.0.2 but with automatic theme update i have Version 4.9.9
No, the version in the DL package is older than the one from the online download! I just checked this myself!

To clarify: The license key activation ensures you always get the latest version directly via automatic updates — faster than through ThemeForest downloads. Sometimes, ThemeForest packages might be a version behind due to their review and approval process.
That said, with the next update on ThemeForest, we’ll also sync the bundled plugins and theme version to match the latest release (5.0.2 in this case). This is already being prepared and is almost ready.

I purchased brooklyn to use demo 8 for my website. However, whenever I Demo import I am only getting “teams” pages and when I try to use the template within the page builder, the video HERO section up to is not being imported. I thought that the entire page would be imported as is by default upon demo-importing. Any help would be appreciated.

Would any of your templates be good for an events site?
It depends on which design you like. Ultimately, these are just starting points—you can build your own website from scratch. We have many clients who create completely custom and beautiful websites from scratch.
If this theme is purchased. How often will it be updated and will we have access to the latest WPBakery or other plugins as they are updated by there creators? Or will we only have the theme license that would become outdated at some point?
We provide regular updates to ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress versions. This includes keeping WPBakery and other bundled plugins up to date. You do not need a separate license for WPBakery—updates for the bundled version are included with Brooklyn and provided through our theme updates.
