Hi Is there a reason why no thumbnail show up on “Bestselling” side bar? Also where is the source file location if I want to add additional product tabs. ie Description, Addtional information, Reviews, etc.. Thanks
Hello,
The product thumbnails should display properly in the “Bestselling” sidebar. This sounds like a plugin conflict issue. Please open a support ticket on our support site so our developers can investigate and help resolve this thumbnail display problem.
https://uix.ticksy.com/For adding custom product tabs, you’ll need a plugin since this isn’t built into the Konte theme. We recommend the “Product Tabs Manager for WooCommerce” plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/product-tabs-manager-for-woocommerce/This plugin will let you easily add and manage custom tabs on your product pages without needing to modify any theme files directly.
Thank you
Hi,
I have v2.4.4 installed on my website, and it’s not showing the recently updated v2.4.5 as an update within wordpress. Kindly tell me how I can make the update?
Could there be an issue with the license? Because I recently uninstalled wordpress altogether (about 3 times) and reinstalled it (on the same domain), but Konte is not showing up in the “User List” in “License Envato” plugin.
Thanks!
Hello,
Theme updates can sometimes take a few hours to appear in the WordPress admin dashboard after release. Please check back later today to see if v2.4.5 shows up in your updates.
If the update still doesn’t appear, this is likely related to your license activation issue. Since you’ve reinstalled WordPress multiple times, the Envato Market plugin may need to be reconfigured.
Please try reinstalling the Envato Market plugin and reactivating your API key following the steps in our documentation: https://docs.uix.store/konte/#/update/update-theme?id=method-1-automatic-updates
Thank you
Thank you for your response. I was using “License For Envato” as opposed to “Envato Market” plugin as that’s the one that pops-up on the WP plugin search. Uninstalling the former and adding the latter as per your instructions worked. I can’t confirm if updates are coming through as I already manually updated the theme. Will comment here again if the next version doesn’t show up automatically. Thanks a lot!
Thank you for your feedback! Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
if you looking at the destop version description of category shows perfectly and fits, but if looking on mobile. it overlaps. how to fix it.. that category description hows full text. then all the rest? https://spaceylon.lt/produktai/ritualai/mini-ritualas/
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. Please try this CSS code to fix this issue.
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.woocommerce-products-header {
height: auto !important;
min-height: 150px;
}
}
You can add this CSS to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS to apply it.
How can I hide a specific product category using the settings on the theme editor product catalog page? Is there a way to hide a specific category in the shop page? Im using Country Based Restrictions to hide the products but it doesnt work in the catalog page
Hello,
Thanks for your question.
The Konte theme doesn’t have a built-in feature to hide specific product categories on the shop or catalog pages.
Since you’re using the Country Based Restrictions plugin and it’s not working as expected in the catalog view, we recommend reaching out to the plugin’s support team — they may have a workaround or settings you can adjust to make it work properly.
Great, clean theme. One issue is on the product breadcrumbs. Even when a primary category is set, it seems like the breadcrumbs default to a random category without any control. Possible to address in a future update?
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback! Konte supports breadcrumbs from Yoast SEO and RankMath SEO plugins.
You can install either plugin to control primary categories in breadcrumbs.
The theme automatically uses the SEO plugin’s breadcrumbs once enabled.
Can you add support for SEOPress?
Thanks for the suggestion! We’ll check SEOPress plugin and add support for its breadcrumbs in the next update if possible. We’ve already added this to the theme’s roadmap.
Hi there, using your theme for a while now and quite happy. But for years the theme has been only updating themes, but no development of the theme itself. I might have to switch to stay up to date, which is a huge hassle. What are your plans in this regard?
Hello,
Thank you for your kind words. We really appreciate your continued support.
Our regular updates focus on stability, performance improvements, and ensuring compatibility with the latest WordPress and WooCommerce versions.
In addition to maintenance updates, we have plans to introduce new features and design enhancements in upcoming releases.
I got this theme when it only had WP Bakery, now it also has Elementor. How do I make the switch, I have custom pages made entirely with WP Bakery.
I want to switch entirely to Elementor now, how can I do it? Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, there’s no automatic solution to convert your existing WP Bakery pages to Elementor. You’ll need to recreate your custom pages using Elementor’s page builder from scratch.
For detailed guidance on this conversion process, please check the Konte documentation here:
https://docs.uix.store/konte/#/elementor/knowledge-base?id=convert-wpbakery-site-to-elementorThank you
Also, I have been updating the theme regularly but the WPBakery Page Builder Plugin doesn’t update I am still at Version 6.6.0 while the latest version is 8.5.
Is there something I can do?
After the theme updated, you need to update plugins manually in Appearance > Install Plugins page. Please refer to this documentation for more details:
https://docs.uix.store/konte/#/update/update-pluginsThank you
WPBakery Page Builder is no more showing in Appearance > Install Plugins page and when I try to update it from the plugins page I get an error? How do I update this plugin
Hello,
To update WPBakery Page Builder, you’ll need to update the Konte theme first. The theme bundles this plugin, so theme updates include the latest compatible version of WPBakery.
Please refer to this documentation for more information:
https://docs.uix.store/konte/#/update/update-pluginsAlternatively, you can delete WPBakery Page Builder completely from Plugins > Installed Plugins, then reinstall it fresh from Appearance > Install Plugins. This will automatically install the latest version.
Thank you
The Konte theme is up to date but I am still unable to update the WPBakery plugin, here is a screenshot of the error: https://snipboard.io/bXeFrH.jpg
I am currently on version 8.7.2 and 8.7.3 is available but can’t update it.
Hi,
That error happens because bundled plugins like WPBakery are updated differently from free WordPress.org plugins — they can’t be updated through the standard plugin update screen.
To get the latest version, please follow these steps:
1. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and delete the current WPBakery Page Builder plugin. 2. Then navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins. 3. You’ll find WPBakery listed there, click Install to get the latest bundled version.
Thank you
Hello, Pre-sale Question: I have been going through the demo site and i found out that search form is only indexing the results based on the Product title. Incase if I entered tshirt instead of t-shirt its showing as no results found. Is there any option to fix this.
Hello,
By default, WooCommerce search relies on exact keyword matches in product titles, so “tshirt” and “t-shirt” are treated as different terms. This is a WooCommerce limitation and WordPress.
To improve the search experience, we recommend using a plugin like “Relevanssi”, which supports partial matches, synonyms, and custom indexing. This plugin can handle variations like “tshirt” vs “t-shirt” much better.
On the website https://www.petoty.com/, we are unable to add a “Load More” button in the Featured Products section. Could you please guide us on how to add a “Load More” button for the products?
Hello,
Unfortunately, the Konte theme doesn’t include a native “Load More” button with AJAX functionality for the Featured Products section.
Instead, we recommend adding a button that links directly to your shop or specific product category page.
Hello,
I want to report an issue with the product image gallery in Meta Browser.
When viewing a product on mobile and using Layout 6 (tested with both types of galleries available), swiping right on the product image causes the browser to close, instead of navigating to the next image as expected.
The behavior seems to be triggered by the swipe right gesture, which may be misinterpreted as a “dismiss” or “close” action.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a product with multiple images using Layout 6 from the Facebook app.
2. Swipe left to go to the next image, then swipe back. (When the user is on the first image and tries to swipe back, the browser also closes).
Swiping back should never close the meta browser, even when the user is on the first image.
Could you please confirm if this is a known bug or if there’s a setting or workaround to resolve this issue?
Thank you in advance for your support!
Best regards,
On Android seems all right, but on IOS we were able to reproduce this on multiple devices with latest IOS and Facebook versions
I think is a woocommerce bug because we can reproduce the problem with their demo site.
Hello,
Thank you for reporting this issue and providing detailed reproduction steps.
This behavior is actually the default functionality of Facebook’s in-app browser on iOS, not a bug with Konte, WooCommerce, or your website.
The Facebook in-app browser interprets the swipe gesture as a “go back” or “close browser” action when users swipe from the edge of the screen or when there’s no more content to navigate to in that direction.
This behavior differs between operating systems – it’s more pronounced on iOS while Android typically handles it differently.
Unfortunately, there’s no reliable workaround from the website side since this is controlled by Facebook’s browser implementation.
Swiping back in the gallery should never close the browser. If someone swipes fast, the browser will close even if there are images to scroll through. We’ve looked at other stores created on Shopify, or that have a custom e-commerce solution, and everything was ok. I think it’s a WooCommerce problem because it happens on the storefront demo site too.
Thank you for your sharing!
This appears to be a limitation with FlexSlider, the JavaScript library that WooCommerce uses in its core product gallery functionality. FlexSlider handles touch/swipe events differently than the modern JavaScript libraries that most Shopify themes and custom e-commerce solutions use.
The newer gallery libraries have better touch event handling that properly prevents the browser’s native swipe-to-go-back behavior, while FlexSlider’s older implementation doesn’t always capture and prevent these gestures effectively – especially during fast swipes or at gallery boundaries.
Since this is a core WooCommerce limitation rather than a Konte theme issue, we don’t have a solution to offer at the moment.
Can you tell me how the mobile logo is being rendered/controlled, and if there’s a reliable hook or method I can use to alter its href value conditionally after load?
Hello,
The mobile logo in Konte uses the same logo as the desktop version. To customize the mobile logo’s href value conditionally, you’ll need to use a child theme and override the mobile header template.
Copy konte/template-parts/mobile/header.php to your child theme at template-parts/mobile/header.php (maintaining the same directory structure). This gives you full control over the mobile header rendering.

Hola!
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback! We understand you’re having issues with multilingual blog content displaying.
The Konte theme is tested with WPML plugin for multilingual functionality. If you’re using WPML, you need to manually translate all blog posts – the plugin doesn’t automatically translate content.
We recommend contacting the support team of your multilingual plugin (WPML, Polylang, etc.) as they can provide specialized assistance with translation workflows and configuration for your specific setup.
Can we add back the sliding bar indicator for the Carousel slider for the Customizing ▸ Shop > Product Catalog?
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback! It seems this issue has been affected by our recent theme update.
We’ve noted this issue and will be restoring the scrollbar indicator in the next Konte theme update.
The Full-Screen Menu is not working in the theme. We are making changes in the Customizer, but they are not reflecting. The hamburger menu is also not functioning.
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. To diagnose the problem effectively, please share with us:
1. Your website URL so I can test the menu functionality directly 2. A screenshot showing the current menu behavior or any error messages
This will help me identify whether it’s a JavaScript conflict, plugin issue, or configuration problem and provide the right solution.
Hello,
Thank you for your response. Here’s the website URL for your reference: https://www.petoty.com/ Hamburger menu is not working in mobile also desktop.
Thanks for sharing your website URL.
This is a common problem with the “Ultimate Addons for Elementor” plugin you’re using for your custom footer.
To fix this issue, please go to: UAE > Settings in your WordPress admin, then click the “Theme Support” tab. Change the setting to “Option 2” – this will resolve the hamburger menu and full-screen menu issues.
You can see exactly where this setting is located in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/l9qSi60eBq4g
After making this change, clear any caching and test your mobile menu again. It should work properly now.
Thanks, the fullscreen menu is working now after switching to Option 2. But the mega menu we created using the theme isn’t showing in hamburger please guide how to enable it inside the fullscreen menu. https://www.petoty.com/
Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, mega menus are not supported in the hamburger/fullscreen menu.
How can we design a mega menu for mobile? Do we need to create a separate menu specifically for mobile devices?
We understand you want to create a different menu for mobile since mega menus don’t work in the mobile menu panel.
You can create a custom menu specifically for mobile devices and assign it to the “Mobile menu” location. This allows you to design a mobile-optimized navigation structure separate from your desktop menu.
Please refer to this documentation for detailed instructions on setting up menu locations: https://docs.uix.store/konte/#/header/menus?id=menu-locations
This way you can have your mega menu on desktop and a simplified, mobile-friendly menu structure on mobile devices.
Okay Thank You
Hi, wpbakery is notifying my site about a security update.https://imgur.com/a/gI4RVzR
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. To quickly update this plugin on your website, you can delete it and then go to Appearance > Install Plugins to intall the latest version.
The latest update results in a critical error. The issue would be line 49 in options.php.
Error: Uncaught TypeError: array_reduce(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, null given in /data/sites/web/foudellebe7856/subsites/dev.foudelle.be/wp-content/themes/konte/inc/functions/options.php:49
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. We’ve just released a new update to fix this error. Please update your theme to version 2.4.1 to solve this problem.
Hi hello, Ive recently updated my theme and I noticed that the email on the order that came in all went to the SPAM folder. All after we updated the theme. We checked in the server, all okay. Is there any patch for this?
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. WordPress themes, including Konte, don’t affect email delivery.
Email deliverability issues typically stem from server configuration, authentication settings, or email provider filtering changes.
Here are some suggestions that you can try to handle this issue:
- Please check your domain’s email authentication by ensuring SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are properly configured in your DNS settings. You can contact your hosting provider if you need help with this setup.
- Consider switching to a dedicated email service like SendGrid, Mailgun, or Amazon SES using plugins like WP Mail SMTP. These services have better delivery rates than standard server mail.
- Review your WooCommerce email content for spam trigger words and ensure proper text-to-image ratios.
I have been using this theme for over two years and it’s been great.
However, I have some issues and I hope I can get help.
The mobile view of this product details page does not look like the demo. It’s supposed to be in a scroll view like this – https://konte.uix.store/elementor-furniture/product/cover-wood-chair/. But that does not happen, rather, it shows all the images first. I’ve tried everything and I don’t know what to do.
here’s my own – https://karposshoes.com/product/karpos-mira/
PS: the desktop view works as expected.
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. We’ve tested your product page at https://karposshoes.com/product/karpos-mira/ on mobile devices, and it appears to be displaying correctly similar to our demo. The product images are showing in the expected scroll view (slideshow) on mobile.
Here is a screenshot: https://prnt.sc/2h_YchQZXmmU
Could you please share a screenshot of what you’re seeing on mobile?
Hi, I have an issue with the products grid. It happens on mobile only when i use Elementor konte product grid. Whenever an odd number of product is displayed like 7 or 9 or 11 … the list shows 10 and hides the single product at the end whatever the number is even 21 or 71 always hiding the last product. i mean it hides the last product so the column shows 2 products on the last raw and this happens only on mobile view on tablet and desktop its fine. How can i show the full list without hiding any product from the elementor konte-product-grid ul.products.
example page:
https://counselornadia.com/nadia-brand/this list has 11 product and it show on desktop all 11 but once reduce the window to mobile view the last product is hidden and it shows only 10. please test.
thanks,
Hello,
