Hi team – I have an active license but now out of support – I tried to download the AI plugins but get a red no entry sign and the links are greyed out ( https://ibb.co/zMbnLWk ) when I hover over them (I can download the translation importer plugin) – Am I missing something?
Hi, check inbox
Hello,
Trust you are good.
I want to buy the theme, but wanted to know if you can add additional fields to the registration page for applicants, which can extend to their profile? Also, can one include appointment booking feature between employers/mentors and candidates?
Thanks
Hi, we have registration field editor https://docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/login-register-form-fields-editor/
No appointment system
Hello, Lucas & Mat. How to edit items in resume filter section, or completely remove this section from the resume list page?
Hi, please send us support ticket using this form with link to your site https://docs.purethemes.net/workscout/support/
hello I want a multi vendor system like etsy where people can add there listing and I earn commission out of it . Can we do it with this theme. My areas are Car Rentals Hotels , House Rentals listing . I will charge customers for giving access as vendor on my site . Hope thats fine with 79$
Yes that’s what our theme is created for but I think you mean Listeo not WorkScout? https://themeforest.net/item/listeo-directory-listings-wordpress-theme/23239259/comments
Hi Team – we are considering updating our website to use the Workscout theme. The current website uses a heavily customised wp-login.php (the WordPress default) page, which we would like to use rather than the Ajax pop-up or my-profile/dashboard page. Can this option be overwritten so the default WordPress registration and login pages are leveraged rather than the versions built into Workscout?
Yes
Hi, The latest update is very interesting. Can access to the AI features be conditioned on whether the advertiser is on a paid plan? Does the plugin with the AI features work for all languages? Thanks!
Hi
the AI features are for users mostly, not limited to advertiser so not really, and yes, it should work for all languages
Hi, A question before placing an order: The map search feature for jobs and candidates looks great. Can a map search page also be created for tasks? Or do you think it will be possible in the future?
Currently we don’t have such option but why not, we can add it on “to do” list.
Hello!
If I understand correctly, the license of this template does not include the most important parts of this template: Applications and Resume Manager?
For which we need to pay additional : Resume Manager – $49.00 USD / year (one site) and Applications – $79.00 USD / year (one site)?
Otherwise, without these modules, the site is simply not complete!
It does. Please send us support ticket using this form: https://themeforest.net/item/workscout-job-board-wordpress-theme/13591801/support/contact
Ticket was sent.
Me again… Am getting a “PHP needs to be updated – critical secruity’ etc etc how do i update ? sorry if dumb, i literally am blanking it
In hosting settings. You can contact hosting provider, set at least 8.1
ahhh perfect, thanks fellas. Always love the support you guys offer!
Has anyone figured out a way to organise the order of companies/brands on the ‘show all companies’ page? At the moment it goes latest brands down, am trying to get it to be alphabetical, etc
There is no such setting.
Damn, so it is what it is…?
Hello! If a job posting has two categories: Freelance and Permanent, I want to be able to enter two prices: daily fee (for freelance) and annual fee (for permanent contract). Is this possible?
Does the template provide the ability to edit fields on the job posting page?
There is no such option. Either that or that
Hello. Do you plan to add such a feature?
At this moment no plans
can we allow vendors (freelanccers) to sell digital goods using woocommerce?
Unfortunately not
Hello PureThemes!
Love your work!! I wanted to know if I can use this Theme as a gig board for local gigs. So, I would like to use my domain name PostAGig.com to allow locals to post any gigs they need help with and charge users a very small nominal fee to gain access to the posters information to reach out to the poster?
I don’t need this theme for in the traditional sense where it’s for Freelancers or web design per se (although posters can request or make a post for these services as well). I’m more leaning toward local gigs like a TaskRabbit or Angi.com home services platform.
Would WorkScout be able to allow me to charge to see or gain access to the posters contact information after they sign up and become a paid user of my site?
Is there anything I would need to modify about WorkScout to allow for this?
Thanks, Winners!
Hi, I don’t think WorkScout “marketplace” functionality is suitable for this. What you say is more like classifieds website. We have theme like that: https://purethemes.net/listeo/
Or I misunderstood your requirements.
Hi Purethemes,
Yes, looks like you understood me correctly.. So, I just want to make sure before I purchase Listeo, I just want to use Listeo to allow posters to post home service gigs for free (or paid) and then handymen can pay to sign up to see the posters information to contact them to try and perform the service for the poster.
Is this what I’m able to do with Listeo or WorkScout?
Thank you, Winners!
I just want to use Listeo to allow posters to post home service gigs for free (or paid) -✅ yes, this is basic feature of Listeo
and then handymen can pay to sign up to see the posters information – ❌ we don’t have option to charge people for getting access to posted listings but you could use https://wordpress.org/plugins/paid-member-subscriptions/ to restrict content/pages.Ahh..perfect.. got it!
Thank you for your help and quick reply!
Winners!
You’re welcome
Question before purchasing.
1) My website will focus primarily on remote work. I tested the demo and don’t see any job postings marked as remote.
On the search page, you can select “remote work,” and the search engine filters out those offers.
The user is not informed that the offer is remote. This can only be determined by filtering.
Neither the individual job card nor the job listings indicate that this is a remote job offer.
Job postings should be marked with a colored “REMOTE” sticker. Just like you see, for example, “full time” or “part time.”
Please check this. Please let me know how the offers are visually marked as “remote.”
2) When are you planning a new release? And what features will be improved or added?
A new versions of ELEMENTOR, WordPress, and WooCommerce have been released recently. When will Workscout be released that is compatible with the new versions?
Thank you
Hi, you can add new job type, I just added “remote” on demo as an example https://prnt.sc/TnmtcuS70TOC
WorkScout works with latest WP, WooCommerce and Elementor
Anyone else having issues with Captcha? Any time someone goes to make a company page they (and I) always get ::
””Are you human?” check failed. Please try again.”
I’ve updated Captcha on Google’s end, the sites end, and done everything I can think of to no avail. Any help/thoughts/advice are welcomed as it’s stopping companied registering at the moment
Thanks
Lincoln
I should clarify that the ‘are you human’ issue comes up after they’ve registered but during trying to create a company page.. Comes up in red at top when they try to save their company info – NOT when they’re registering…
Super weird.
And I have just found out I get this on any company page within the ‘frontend’ dashboard (i can still add companies on the backend of WP). But even logged in as Admin, i get the human error
you might have used a V2 key for a V3 reCAPTCHA (or the other way around), or maybe reCAPTCHA is flagging you. If the problem keeps happening, it might be a good idea to renew support and send in a support ticket
Yep, good point. I have deleted and re-inputted the reCAPTCHA codes for V2 and left 3 empty. Seems to be ok, gunna try again shortly – and yeah, support, got ya.
Solved it by removing “Display a reCAPTCHA field on company submission form.”
Because the RC never showed, and because they don’t need two RCs – one when they register, and then one submitting a company.
Thanks for the hlep !!
Ok, glad it works
Do you plan to make an update or add-on soon to post jobs like fiverr ? I swa other comments request this and it was in theme description.
Thanks
Yes, cant specifically say when but definitely not this summer as it might takes some development
Hello, I have some Pre-sale Questions:
Can I customize the subscription/packages system in the admin panel? Specifically, can I create SaaS-style tiers for employers and candidates (e.g., free/basic/premium)?
What is the difference between Regular and Extended licenses?
Can WorkScout support or replace Zoom video calls with our own platform or a custom API integration?
Does WorkScout offer AI integration support, such as resume parsing, candidate matching, or compatibility with GPT-based tools?
How far does white-label branding go? Can I fully remove theme author branding from:
Front-end UI
Emails and notifications
Admin dashboards?
Is there an option or roadmap for:
Auto job imports from external APIs (Google Jobs, public job feeds)?
Future updates around AI features, multi-tenant structure, or advanced analytic
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards
Hello! I’d be happy to answer your pre-sale questions.
Subscription/Packages System: Yes, WorkScout integrates with WooCommerce Paid Listings, allowing you to create various job packages and resume packages. You can define different tiers, such as free, basic, or premium, and manage them directly from your WordPress admin panel.
Regular vs. Extended Licenses: The distinction between Regular and Extended licenses pertains to the usage rights on ThemeForest (Envato Market). This is a licensing question for Envato and is not covered in our knowledge base. Generally, an Extended License is needed if you intend to charge end-users for access to your site or its features.
Zoom/Video Call Integration: WorkScout does not include built-in integration for Zoom or other video call platforms, nor does it support custom API integrations for such features out-of-the-box. This would require custom development, which is outside the scope of our support and knowledge base.
White-label Branding: You can extensively customize the front-end UI and emails/notifications to match your branding using WordPress’s Customizer and theme options. However, completely removing all theme author branding from the admin dashboards is not a standard theme feature and might require custom modifications, which we cannot assist with.
Job importing: https://docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/how-to-import-job-listings-with-wp-all-import/
Kind regards!
Hi, we just released AI candidate analysis https://docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/ai-powered-candidate-analysis/
Hello! Can you please ensure that, if I want to purchase the regular license and then charge Stripe payment from any company who wants to post a job here. Is it possible? If so, I will buy. But if it doesn’t allow, then I may not purchase it. Because the cost is too high for extended license.
It’s fine, you can.
So, you are ensuring me that I can charge Stripe Payment from regular license of this theme. Right ? And can you also ensure me that, the product will be the same as extended llicense ?
Yes I confirm all above. Basically 99% users purchase regular license and use it like you mention.
Hello dear purethemes team when will you add service gig feature and when will you new update ? Thanks Regards
This specific feature later this year. Beginning of this year we were focused on WorkScout, currently we’re working on new features for Listeo and once we will finish WorkScout will has its 5 minutes
I’m looking forward to these two amazing themes and new features. Much love to your team.
Hi team, I’m submitting a bug report on a clean install: the blue upload SVG icon next to the option to install Custom Icon (SVG files only) on the Edit Job Category page appears to be non-functional. I assume it should bring up a form to upload an .svg file – however nothing happens.
