Hello, I purchased Wordbench on ThemeForest and I am currently setting up the demo on a fresh WordPress installation. What worked: I imported content.xml successfully demo pages and media were imported What did not work: importing customizer.dat did not apply the demo settings at one point WordPress showed a critical error during the import attempt after disabling the Customizer Export/Import plugin, the website became accessible again as of now, the site is working, but the customizer settings from the demo are clearly not imported Current setup: fresh WordPress installation original Wordbench package from Envato content.xml already imported active theme was Wordbench Child / Wordbench-based child theme during testing I also tested the recommended Customizer Export/Import flow Important note: I checked the customizer.dat file technically and it does not appear to be corrupted. It is a valid serialized export file and contains the expected Wordbench customizer data. Could you please tell me: what the correct and currently supported import procedure is for the latest Wordbench version whether customizer.dat should be imported with the original Wordbench Child theme active or the parent theme which bundled plugins must be active before importing the customizer settings whether there is a newer or safer way to import the complete demo setup If needed, I can also send screenshots and the exact WordPress/PHP versions. the setup described in the documentation is still valid. It should be done with child theme active and all bundled plugins installed and activated. I’ve just tested it using One Click Demo Import plugin and it worked without any issues. Make sure to import it exactly in this order: Content > Customize > Widgets.

Hello, the directory map is almost amazing. I’m just having an issue with the drilling down functionality.
It seems that when there are greater than 2 levels to drill down the purple counter doesn’t disappear from the map, making it look like there are still further levels to drill down and covering one of the directory locations.
e.g. I have a few single place markers and then a group of 6 on the fully zoomed out map, I click the number 6, zooming in on that section of the map, the 6 stays there when it should hide and covers a placeholder and a 5 shows up on another area of the map. If I then click the 5 it zooms in as expected and shows 2 markers and a 3 for a grouping. If I click the three, I get the same issue as before, where the 3 covers one of the placeholders rather than hiding itself and making it impossible to click on.
Is there a way to remove placeholders and just show all of the locations, or a fix that you’re aware of for this issue?

that is currently not possible, but if you don’t mind changing the code, it’s a rather easy fix. Just add the following code:

Hello, I had asked specifically about how to add new “option values” to the “Listing Metadata” (Schema.org Section)......of the Locations/Business Directory Single Page Listing. It seems that I can’t add additional “values” categories. Some of my business list don’t match the options available. Can I do this within the WordPress Dashboard? I can’t find the setting. Or, just let me know what file to add the new categories within the file manager.

you can do it via Custom Fields (click on “three dots” in upper right corner / Preferences / Advanced / Custom Fields), just add your value next to “lsvr_listing_meta_business_type” field. If you don’t see this field under Custom Fields, then try to first select one of the predefined Business Types under Listing Metadata box, save and reload your post.
if you want to edit the selection in the meta box, open wp-content/plugins/lsvr-directory/inc/classes/lsvr-cpt-listing.php and edit the values starting from line 500.

Hello, I have created a Directory with a few business listings. The Single Business Listing Page has a Right Sidebar with a “Featured Listing”. However, the assigned “hero” image on the Featured Listing Widget on the sidebar is not aligning correctly. The image does not go all the way to the right side of the widget. The photo is the same exact size of your demo. Please provide me the the fix info.

I have an issue with your theme because I’m trying to insert an image gallery inside a page or a post, and I’ve noticed that it’s not possible to use the Gallery feature available in post types like Project. Am I doing something wrong, or is there simply no function included in the theme that allows you to create galleries (the way it does for the custom types)?

you can use built-in gallery block of the block editor for that or a suitable 3rd party plugin. The built-in gallery management for LSVR types like Project is specific only to those types.

I’ve been using this theme for over a year, the home page is suddenly duplicating all of the lsvr elements now. I’ve deleted the home page, made a new home page but all elements are still duplicating. Have you had any reports about this issue from other people using the theme? Thank you.

Dobrý den, ještě konkrétní dotaz – pokud redaktor vloží do článku náhled obrázku z médií, bylo by fajn aby se otevřel v lightboxu jako např. ve fotogalerii.
Zkoušel jsem přidat toto “post-images__item-link lsvr-open-in-lightbox” ale obrázek se otevírá na stránce, nikoli v okně. V návodech to většinou bývá, tady jsme nenašli jak to nastavit.

Jedná se o obrázky které redaktoři vkládají mezi odstavce textů ve článcích. Demo obsah bohužel tuto častou variantu neobsahuje. Správně by se to mělo otevírat v lightboxu automaticky, protože běžní redaktoři těmto nastavením nerozumí.
Pokud se to nastavit musí, vychází se z možností WP media:
Link vede na: soubor (IMG) / stránku se souborem / vlastní URL
V rozšířených možnostech je: CSS třída (obrázek) / druh odkazu (rel) / připojit třídu CSS
Více to běžný redaktor ovlivnit nedokáže (leda editací v tiny wisiwig). Bude něco z toho fungovat? Pokud by bylo řešením přidání skriptu někam do šablon, functions apod., taky dobré.

pár tablón od Vás již používáme a nyní bychom měli dotaz k jedné z nich za účelem častějšího použití a tedy častějších nákupů. Nejde o cenu, ale o případné doladění dle potřeb (jednorázové).
Již jsme v minulosti v kontaktu byli, ale bohužel nemohu dohledu Váš mail. Zde zase není optimální posílat něco jako specifikace, případně komplexnější dotazy / zadání.

Hi, I need some help with the settings. The documentation doesn’t say how to enable or disable “Contents” in the article details. It doesn’t show up in the demo (there are no headings or subheadings). But the “Contents” feature isn’t working properly, it has no formatting, and I need to disable it. How do I set it up, please?

Hello, thanks for your replies. I have added the TranslatePress Plugin but I am having an issue with the language switcher on the header menu. As soon as I add it it converts the text (eg. GR or EN) to code. Is there any issues with the theme?

there is unfortunately no built-in monetization feature. It would have to be custom coded, or you can simply use a 3rd party directory plugin instead.

1.) the theme was tested with the screen reader, but there is no certification or anything like that. There are online accessibility tools freely available, so feel free to put a demo link there and compare to other theme demos (https://preview.lsvr.sk/wordbench/).
2.) That’s unfortunately not possible, would probably require some advanced code customization.
