hi Ohio team,

on your demo (https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo33/product-category/womens/) product swatches show correctly on the shop page with consistent image heights. on our site the swatches don’t appear and images look uneven. Your documentation doesn’t cover the steps.

on our site the swatches don’t appear and images look uneven. could you confirm if this feature is built into Ohio or if it requires an external variation-swatches plugin? if external, which one do you recommend? also, please advise how to set up swatches on shop/archive pages.

your documentation doesn’t explain the swatch setup or plugin requirement, so adding that would help a lot.

Hallo!

Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property acf_field_ohio_columns::$settings is deprecated in /.../plugins/ohio-extra/acf_ext/fields/acf-ohio-columns-field.php on line 39

Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property ohio_acf_field_image_option::$settings is deprecated in /.../plugins/ohio-extra/acf_ext/fields/acf-ohio-image-option-field.php on line 21

Bitte veröffentlichen Sie so bald wie möglich ein Update für das ohio-extra Plugin, das diese PHP 8.2/8.3-Kompatibilitätsprobleme korrigiert.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Unterstützung.

Hey, ... your OHIO theme is very creative – thanks for your work! We have a pre-purchase question about Demo6 (https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo6/):

Is the header/top menu temporarily cluttered in the mobile/tablet view (too many overlapping elements) or is this a SMALL bug that we/you can quickly fix? Please see ScreenShot: https://snipboard.io/Y8rNpL.jpg

Thanks for your quickly reaction/solution for a/our quick purchase decision ;)

Hi,

We appreciate you reaching out.

That was an issue, but we’ve already fixed it. Try to check that page in an Incognito Window again.

Hi, I’m considering purchasing Ohio for a WooCommerce store. Is it possible to customize the search to filter only by: - Product titles - SKUs - Brand attributes ...and exclude product descriptions and blog posts from search results? Looking forward to your response before purchase. Thanks!

Hi,

We appreciate you reaching out.

Unfortunately, there’s no out-of-the-box solution for that. It would require code customization.

If some one If someone has found a solution for this white padding on the right, please help. I suspect the menu is causing problems, it’s really bad on mobile landscape. www.hellodesigners.ro

Thanks for the extra details. There’s not enough space for all the header elements on mobile. That’s why the overlapping occurs. Let’s hide a button from the mobile header, which should fix the issue: /*Hide the button in the mobile header*/ @media screen and (max-width: 768px) { .button-group { & .button { display: none; } } }

Super, problems was fixed on mobile portrait .

For mobile landscape still is a white padding on right I also marked the fact that the icons overlap at some point with another container, and that slide widget for images, some of them scale, they don’t stay in the container. Tx for your efforts!

Add the following CSS to fix mobile landscape overlapping: html { overflow-x: hidden; }

All other visual issues should be addressed directly within the Elementor Editor for the mobile landscape screen.

Good afternoon. I’m writing here because my support has expired (I’m going to renew it).

However, I have a question about the wishlist:

The YITH Wishlist is integrated into the Ohio theme, but I don’t like it overall, and it also negatively affects the website’s performance. Most importantly, I lack the grid-based product layout found in the theme’s product archive, as the wishlist only supports a list-based layout.

My question is, how easy would it be to:

Option 1: integrate a wishlist from other developers, for example, the “QODE Wishlist for WooCommerce” (which even more closely matches the style of the Ohio theme) or, for example, the “MoreConvert Wishlist for WooCommerce”? Should this require minimal CSS changes to change the links for the corresponding buttons or more serious changes? Can you help with this if I create ticket the Ohio service center?

Option 2: save as it is the YITH wishlist, but present the products on the wishlist page as a GRID, rather than as a list?

Sincerely, Mikhail.

Hi,

We appreciate you reaching out.

Thanks for the suggestion

We’ve added it to our to-do list and will see what we can do about implementing it in the future.

I want to excuse in advance, but you may have misunderstood me.

This was not a wish-list of the e features, but a technical question about a wishlist (favorites) for woocommerce products and favourite plugins integration/change, and it was a question. not a suggestion :)

As I can understand, that you are currently unable to answer my question?

1. Unfortunately, we won’t integrate the plugin of another ThemeForest author (QODE).

2. The Yith Wishlist plugin has its own structure, and to have a grid instead of a list, the whole wishlist template should be overridden completely. There is no out-of-the-box solution for this. You might want to try searching for another available wishlist plugin; perhaps one of them provides a grid system.

Hello, How do I import the “exact same menu” with all the links and images next to each link in the “resources” dropdown?

I think they could also be called badges. The last thing that I can’t seem to figure out or find in the documentation is how to add those little badges at the end of a menu like “new” or “v3.6” and how to alter the background color of the badges. How would I be able to accomplish this?

Actually, I figured it out. Thank you so much for such an awesome theme!

Glad to hear you sorted it out.

Hi there,

For a quite sometime, this error persisted across many updates to this theme. In the latest 3.6.0 this has not yet fixed either. I know this doesn’t have any visible errors for the actual users of our site and all functionalities are likely to work without an issue, but still it’d be perfect if you can update the versions of these files on the next update.

Hi Guys,

pls tell me

i want to create a website with portfolio categories and sybcategories. For example see here… https://tinyurl.com/mpfskh74 you will see the first 6 categories: Replica Mni Sticks Desklights Keyrings Model Kits Custom

Each of these categories have subcategories and then the product or portfolio.

Is there any way to do this without woocommerce but to be easily for me to add more portfolio items or categories?

Can i do it as it is in this page, Without Woocommerce?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

You can create a standard WP page and use Banner elements for categories. These banners would link to subcategory pages (also standard WP pages), which can be built with a Portfolio Projects element.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

After updating to the latest version of Ohio, the layout of several parts of my website has broken — not only the shop pages (large gaps between product images and descriptions), but also the blog and other pages where the text appears larger and more condensed than before.

From experience with other themes, this usually requires clearing or regenerating the theme’s CSS/JS cache. I have seen references to options such as:

CSS/JS Cache Regenerate assets / Clear compiled CSS/JS Disable theme cache (debug option)

However, I cannot find any of these options in my Ohio dashboard.

Could you please let me know where exactly I can find the correct settings to regenerate or clear the theme’s CSS/JS so that the layout is rebuilt properly?

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

I already mentioned this yesterday but I would like to ask again in a lighter way.

After updating to Ohio 3.5.7, the layout of my site is broken in many areas (shop, blog, product pages). Images are oversized, text appears bigger and condensed, and even raw HTML shows in product descriptions.

Normally Ohio should generate a folder like /wp-content/uploads/ohio-styles/ for compiled CSS/JS, but this folder does not exist at all in my installation. I also cannot find any option such as “Regenerate assets” or “Clear compiled CSS/JS” in the Ohio dashboard.

Could you please let me know how we are supposed to rebuild the CSS/JS cache in version 3.5.7? Maybe I am missing something obvious.

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,

After updating to Ohio 3.6.0 (theme + bundled plugins), the issue with broken layouts is still present. The shop, blog and other pages all appear with oversized images, condensed text, and raw
tags inside product descriptions.

I have checked directly in /wp-content/uploads/ and confirmed that the folder ohio-styles/ (or any equivalent Colabrio compiled assets folder) does not exist at all in my installation. Normally this is where compiled CSS/JS should be generated, but nothing is being created.

So at this stage, it looks like the theme is not generating its compiled CSS/JS assets at all, which explains why the layout is broken across the site.

Could you please confirm how to force Ohio 3.6.0 to generate the CSS/JS assets, or provide a fix if this is a bug in the current version?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

1. If you use a caching plugin, try to deactivate it and check if the issue still exists.

2. Try to regenerate Elementor’s CSS. From your WP admin dashboard, navigate to Elementor > Tools > Elementor Cache > Clear Files & Data.

Hello Team,

We encountered an issue when accessing your website: the loading takes a very long time, which prevents us from viewing the templates due to the extreme slowness in page loading.

We kindly ask you to resolve this issue as soon as possible so that we can review the templates smoothly.

Thank you.

A request to you guys — it would be really helpful if you could make customer support tickets public, like many other theme providers do. This way, users won’t need to contact support every time for common issues. If tickets are public, anyone can quickly check if others have faced the same problem and apply the solution themselves. It would save time for both your team and your customers.

Hi,

We appreciate you reaching out.

Thanks for the suggestion

We’ve added it to our to-do list and will explore ways to implement it in the future.

Thanks for your reply. I know my support has ended, and renewal costs $40, but I just need one small help. Earlier your team had shared a CSS fix for text alignment and spacing between paragraphs/headings, but I no longer have it.

Could you please share that CSS again as a courtesy? It would mean a lot.

From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Theme Settings > Custom CSS & JS and use the code below: /*H3 margins*/ .post { .entry-content { h2 { margin-block-end: 0.5em; } } }

Feel free to change the “0.5em” value with your own value using CSS units.

Hi, thanks. I don’t know if this is from the theme or from WPBakery, but:

1) Is there a solution for the persistent “& n b s p ;” that shows up every time we edit text?

2) Why does the page scroll towards a random part of the editor, whenever we duplicate a row or section?

Any solutions from the community?

Thank you again.

Is it possible to install the same version of the original demo on the site without using additional CSS? Please, I’m waiting for your answer, yes or no. Thank you.

Hi there,

Is there a way to make the header (currently fixed) hide on scroll down, and reappear on scroll up? I usually have this functionality in other themes, but cannot seem to find a way to set it in Ohio.

Thanks in advance.
