Not up to date. Bundled wpbakery version is 7.6 and the actual release is at 8.4.1 Would avoid to buy this theme currently. Regular updates are crucial nowadays.

The plugins that you got after the purchase are called bundled and we, as a theme authors, have purchased an extended licence for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
When a plugin is updated, the theme author will include the latest version of the bundled plugin with their next theme update. So you can easily update the bundled plugin when you next update your theme.
You should know that in case you need latest version of any bundled plugin you can submit a ticket at our Help Center or contact us through the contact form here, and our agents will provide you with latest version.

Yes, I know about your process. Those plugins shipped with the theme can only be updated, when the theme is updated because of the licensing system. When I buy a commercial product, I expect, that there are regular updates and not requiring to open up ticket every time there is a plugin available. My comment is for people interested in the theme and the lack of updates.

It takes less than 10 minutes to replace two zip files within the package and upload it here. What a joke to say, they work “hard on updates”.

Good development teams have this with automated tests. Plus, its still not a good sign not to do regular updates for commercial themes and plugins.
Opinion remains: don’t buy outdated themes like Kastell.

Kastell theme is compatible with WPBakery page builder and this plugin is included as a bundled plugin with the theme. Demo content of the theme is built with WPBakery page builder.
The theme is compatible with WPML, and when it comes to creating a multi-language site with our themes, we recommend checking this article – How To Create A Multi-Language Website.
Unfortunately, RTL is not supported. Anyhow all shortcodes without dynamic shortcodes should be working well on RTL.

The theme is supported and will continue to be updated. At the moment, we don’t have an ETA for the update’s release.
If you are making any changes in the template files, make sure that you are using a Child Theme. That way, your changes will be safe from theme updates. It is also a good idea to create a backup before any update, just to be safe.

I cannot find the option to show the image title when using the Mikado Image Gallery. This is not a special function and normally supported by every gallery script. Any hint appreciated

This is not a gallery, its a property list!
Yes, however, if you don’t want it to link to property single pages, then the clicking can be disabled with some custom css and it will be displayed only as images with titles. Our support agents can assist you with custom css to prevent the click.
Alternatively, you can try using some 3rd party image gallery plugin, however, we cannot give you an exact recommendation since we haven’t tested such plugins with the theme.

The theme looks great but the last update was 3 years ago, this is a huge red flag!!! I own an agency and for that reason alone, would not purchase this theme, Its a shame.

As for the update, note that our developers are constantly working on updates for all our themes and this theme is on our list. At the moment we don’t have any ETA when the new update will come out but we hope it will be released soon.

The last update was 3 years ago. “Hoping it will be released soon” is not very reassuring considering the downside if you don’t. Please consider the position of your customer, building websites is not cheap.

1. There is an option to add property categories (please see screenshot). Also, there is an option to enable category filter for portfolio list as shown in screenshot.
2. You can create wide menu (like the Elements dropdown menu shown in the demo). There is also an option to add custom widget area, so this way you can add an image in a custom widget area and then assign this widget area to menu item.

warning to potential buyers: this theme uses WPBakery, but you need to purchase a separate license to use it. I messed around with this theme for a while before realizing you need to pay an additional $59 to get the license. (Even though it was stated as included in the theme). This means that you have to purchase a fairly outdated page builder, or you need to change your theme with actual code. Since I’m not a coder, I’m pretty disappointed in this purchase. Will be having to purchase another theme now with something like Elementor.

We are sorry and cannot agree on this since it is not true. Please note that WPBakery does come bundled within the theme and you do not need to activate any license for it as bundled plugins do get updated when the theme is.

By purchasing the Regular License you get to use our theme for an unlimited period of time and to update your theme every time we release a new theme version, It is not necessary to purchase new license for each update.

After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.
