Hello, I purchased the theme, but all single post layouts are broken and this issue has been going on for a long time.

Featured images appear extremely large and unbalanced on desktop.

On mobile, the image ratio is completely wrong and poorly cropped.

“Standard”, “Featured”, “Large Image”, “Spotlight”, etc. — every single layout has the same issue.

There is no option in the theme settings to control the cover image height, ratio, or focal point.

The layouts do not behave like the demo, and the oversized images completely break the design.

I have contacted support multiple times, but I have not received a clear or correct answer, and no real fix has been provided.

This is not something that should be solved with a temporary CSS snippet — this is a structural layout problem in the theme.

We need a permanent solution through a theme update, not a workaround.

Please check this issue and provide a proper fix, because at the moment the theme is not usable in production.

Thank you.

How to hide view count in article page?

Hello!

You can hide the view count with a small CSS snippet. Please add this to Theme Options → Custom CSS:

.fn__meta .meta_item.post_views, .meta_item.meta_date .meta_sep { display: none; }

This will remove the view count on the article page.

Thank you. After adding this change and save it is still showing in article page. Do I need to refresh cache ?

Refresh the cache please.

I recently purchased the Mow – Blog & Magazine WordPress Theme, and I’m very happy with the design. However, I need help with one issue.

On mobile and desktop, there is a floating user/account icon on the right side of the screen. I would like to remove this icon completely, but I could not find any option in the theme settings to disable it. I also tried using custom CSS, but the icon still appears.

Could you please guide me on how to remove this icon? Or, if possible, could you provide me with a modified version of the theme where the user/account floating icon is removed?

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out!

You can remove the floating user/account icon directly from the theme settings.

Please go to:

Mow → Theme Options → Floating Bar → Account Button

Then simply disable the Account Button option.

Once disabled, the floating user/account icon will disappear on both mobile and desktop.

Best Regards.

I’m having two issues with the MOW theme:

The MOW Core plugin update (v4.11) won’t install — the update button doesn’t work.

The demo import fails every time with an error message.

My purchase code is verified and all hosting limits are increased, so I’m not sure what’s going wrong.

Can you please send me the latest MOW Core plugin and help me fix the demo import? Thank you so much!

Hi Rashid,

Thank you so much for your kind message — and no worries at all about the duplicate posts, it happens! We really appreciate your understanding.

Best Regards.

The link you provided helped me fix the plugin issue, but the demo problem is still not solved. The XML demo file does not download from the link, and my blog has still not been set up. It has been many days now, and I have wasted a lot of time trying to fix this, but the demo import still does not work.

At this point, I don’t know whether the issue is. I don’t understand why you cannot fix this directly. What is the benefit of buying a paid theme if new issues appear every day, and I have to spend my valuable time trying to solve them? And on top of that, you charge extra money for support. Why can’t these issues be solved through simple email support?

It is very upsetting that I reached out for help, but instead of solving the problem, I am being pushed to buy additional support. You only sent me the link to purchase support instead of actually fixing the issue.

Please check the Mow – Elementor Blog & Magazine WordPress Theme yourself and fix all the problems so that when we, buyers, receive updates, everything works properly. Don’t waste our limited time — we paid for this theme, we didn’t get it for free.

Please don’t take this personally. I’m saying this politely because both of us are affected by this situation.

Hi,

Thank you for your detailed message — and I truly understand your frustration. I’m very sorry that this issue has taken so much of your time. I want to assure you that my goal is not to push you to buy support or leave you stuck. I’m here to help you get the demo imported and your website fully running.

Let me clarify a few things so everything is transparent:

❗ Why the demo import isn’t working

The XML files and the demo import process are working correctly on our side, but sometimes hosting providers block image imports, large XML files, or certain PHP functions. When that happens, OCDI fails even if the theme itself is fine. This is why you cannot import the demo content, and why the XML file refuses to download directly from the server.

✔️ About the XML download

The GitHub link is the correct location, but depending on your browser or device, GitHub sometimes does not allow direct XML downloads. That’s why I already attached the food-content.xml file directly to you — so you can download it without relying on GitHub.

I completely understand how frustrating this is, and I’m here to make sure everything works correctly for you. You paid for the theme, and you absolutely deserve for everything to work smoothly.

Thank you again for your patience — we’ll get this solved together.

Hello, I hope you are doing well.

I recently purchased the MOW – Elementor Blog & Magazine WordPress Theme and I am facing two main issues:

1. MOW Core Plugin Update Not Working On my WordPress dashboard, I see this message:

“New Version Available: A new version (4.11) of the mow-core plugin is available.”

But when I click Update Now, the plugin does not update. Nothing happens.

I also installed the Envato Market plugin, but the update still does not work.

2. Demo Import Failing When I try the One Click Demo Import, it shows:

“Import Failed — Whoops, there was a problem importing your content.”

I have already:

Verified the purchase code

Installed all required plugins

Increased all PHP limits (Namecheap hosting)

My hosting team increased max_input_vars to 3000

Other PHP limits are also high enough

Still, the demo import fails.

Requested Assistance Please help me with:

✔ Providing the latest MOW Core Plugin (v4.11) download link ✔ Fixing the demo import issue ✔ Confirming whether any additional license activation is required other than the purchase code ✔ Guiding me if there are any known issues with the demo server

Additional Information My domain: healthaily.com

If you need temporary WP Admin or hosting access to fix the demo import, I can provide it.

Thank you very much. I look forward to your assistance.

I really love the theme, and I thoughts that any chance to add a 9gag or Reddit demo ❤️

Hi,

As for adding a 9GAG or Reddit-style demo — we will definitely consider it for future updates, but we can’t promise anything yet.

Hello,

I am experiencing issues on my WordPress site where the category page: https://grislybuzz.com/health-fitness/ is loading incorrectly as you can see, all the other categories are loading correctly.

This issue persists regardless of my browser.

Even The WordPress Admin Bar (top black panel) is completely missing for logged-in users on this category page. (You can check out the link I provided above or see the screenshot here: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/57487507?key=13f7ede804903234ca7b7d0789a17600

I have tried to dragonize the problem but failed, please help?

Hi,

Thanks for checking the plugins — that helps a lot.

Since the category page works when all third-party plugins are disabled, the issue is caused by one (or more) of those optimization/caching plugins altering HTML output, scripts, or dynamic queries.

Here’s what you can do:

✅ 1. Purge all cache after reactivating each plugin

With LiteSpeed, CookieYes, and Optimole, always clear:

Page cache

CSS/JS optimization cache

CDN/Cloud cache (if enabled)

Sometimes the old cached version is what breaks the page.

✅ 2. Disable optimization features inside those plugins

These options are known to break dynamic category pages:

LiteSpeed Cache

Disable JS Defer / Combine

Disable CSS Combine

Disable HTML Minify

Disable Guest Mode

Disable Server-side Crawler

Optimole

Disable Lazy load for background images

Temporarily disable Lazy Load completely

CookieYes

Disable Script Blocking or whitelist theme scripts

✅ 3. Exclude theme scripts from optimization

In LiteSpeed, exclude these folders from any optimization/lazyload/minify:

/wp-content/themes/mow* /wp-content/plugins/wow-core*

✅ 4. Re-enable plugins one by one

Activate each plugin → purge cache → test → repeat This shows which exact setting is causing the conflict.

Best Regards.

I didn’t have to do all that. What i did is put all the posts on that particular category in “Draft” mode, then the category started working correctly. I found out that the culprit was just one post which i later deleted and now its working perfectly.

Hi,

Great to hear you managed to fix it!

How do I put (write) the blog title and description instead of the logo?

Hello,

The theme doesn’t include an option to replace the logo with a text-based blog title and description. To achieve this, you would need to customize the code manually.

Best Regards.

Hello, I’m interested in buying the theme, but why is there no search feature in the header? Can you guide me on this?

Hello,

Yes, the theme does include a search feature. The search trigger is located on the right side of the layout — this is part of the theme’s unique design.

Best Regards.

Dear all, I purchased the Mow Blog & Magazine theme and installed it on a server with all the resources updated. However, I cannot import ANY demo – the message I always receive is “An error occurred while fetching file from: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Frenify/mowxml/main/minimal3-content.xml! Reason: 429 – Too Many Requests.” I have already deleted the entire structure and reinstalled everything and… nothing! I tried sending a message through the website and… nothing! I tried Envato support and… nothing! How can I solve this?

Hello!

Thank you for purchasing our theme.

The issue has a very significant problem, or at least I can’t find a solution. The articles are repeated. If you want to use different blocks to display all the news, there’s no way to prevent them from repeating. The offset isn’t sufficient, because if you have an article in multiple categories, that parameter isn’t valid. For example, a block with featured articles and those articles are in a different category besides the featured ones. This is essential to solve…

Hi,

Our custom post widget includes several query parameters you can use to control which posts appear in each block. The available parameters are:

Post Number – to set how many posts to display.

Post Offset – to skip a specific number of posts.

Formats Parameters – to filter posts by post format (standard, video, gallery, etc.).

Post Parameters – to include or exclude specific post IDs.

Category Parameters – to display posts from selected categories.

Author Parameters – to show posts from specific authors.

Tag Parameters – to filter posts by tags.

Search Parameters – to display posts matching certain keywords.

Comment Parameters – to sort or filter posts by comment count.

Order Parameters – to control the order of posts (by date, title, etc.).

Please try adjusting these query parameters to refine your content selection and avoid duplicate posts appearing across multiple sections.

Best regards, Frenify Team
