After much testing Astra, Kava and Kadence, I have decided to go with Raytheme as it gives me most freedom with elementor pro page builder, and ray theme fallback styles and woocommerce styles are to my liking. I hope this theme will get the support for years to come.

Onto adding unique block areas to each products I believe the “After summary” global sections blocks might help. I wrote more about them here https://support.reytheme.com/kb/editing-product-pages-archives-with-elementor/#product-pages-insert-after-summary-global-sections .
Also same goes for Header and Footers as well. They’re fully customisable with Elementor ( docs https://support.reytheme.com/kb/how-to-create-headers/ ).

Hi, I have an issue with PayPal, and their support informed me that the problem is related to the theme. They said your developers should be able to fix it, as we are losing several orders because of this issue.

Their file rey-core/assets/js/woocommerce/blockui.js assumes all items passed to block() have a classList . During PayPal Payments onApprove, they receive non-DOM objects from WooCommerce/PayPal flows. They must add a safety check before calling classList.add() , for example: if (!element || !element.classList || typeof element.classList.add !== “function”) { return; } Without this guard, their script throws a fatal JS error that interrupts external payment flows.

hi, i resolved it but there is another problem. i contacted siteground for a large number ov transient and they sent me this:

I see. Rey does cache a lot of things in transients to avoid unnecessary database calls, however they’re set to expire periodically and shouldn’t count that much as told by the SG team.
If you’re experiencing this problem again, try dropping me a message and I’ll also take a closer look to see what kind of transients were those.

If however you mean the carousel at the top https://d.pr/i/siDoMP , simply use Rey’s template library to import the page cover global section from the San Francisco demo ex https://d.pr/i/qVveRN .

Indeed, categories are not directly editable with Elementor (although there is the posibility of using Custom Templates), however for this particular area – the Page Cover (between the site header and page content), can be built with Elementor (and it is in fact more recommended then Custom templates).

Basically you should be able to globally assign page covers from Customizer > Page cover > WooCommerce (eg: to all categories), or individually per category (in the Category’s settings at the bottom).

How can I resolve the issue of the thumbnail image appearing low resolution (pixelated) in the store grid? The image on the product page and when zoomed in looks fantastic, but the thumbnails end up looking pixelated.

I just updated Woo. Photo Reviews plugin to its latest version, however for the “Woo. Custom Fields” plugin, I’m afraid I’ve removed it because the author of it has also removed it, so because there won’t be new updates, I believe it would be best to migrate to another solution if you use this particular plugin.

Just to let you know that the latest version of the Paypal plugin is not working with your Rey theme. We tried to change the theme and the new version of Paypal worked. On the checkout page we are getting the error message “Unfortunately, your credit card details are not valid”.
When we revert to a previous version of the Paypal plugin or change the theme to “storefront”, we can checkout without issue.

After adding your theme, the Slides sections used to add new slides seem to be missing on all non-theme sliders, so it’s impossible to add any sliders. Does the theme disable Elementor features, and if so, how can I enable them? These include the Image Carousel, Slides, Rey Carousel..
This was a glitch, updating Elementor Pro fixed the issue.

I am experiencing an issue with the Estimated Delivery feature on my website, which is running the Rey WordPress theme. The configured estimated delivery date is not displaying correctly on the product, cart, and/or checkout pages, despite being properly set up in the theme options. When I indicate delivery 3 weeks for products out of stock or in restocking it tells me the lead time for products in stock: 5 days. How to correct this? Bye

It seems to be working like this by design, because the fallback/custom texts are just text and no actual “data” representation. However I understand the context you need.
So I was thinking you could actually make use of the custom days (per product) setting (ex https://d.pr/i/KJt3C7 ), for example “21” days, and I can provide some custom code to automatically convert the number of days to weeks.
PS: If you can, try editing your reply and remove the email address so it doesn’t get picked up by spammers.
That’s mean change all the products one by one ? That’s not a solution. Some products are in stock and some out of stock. I simply want to differentiate the time displayed in the basket between these 2 types of product, is there not a simpler solution?
And the custom days per product is not working. Hi! I understand, but it’s not simple though.
Regarding the configured 155 days on the product and still showing 3 weeks delay, most likely it’s because the Custom text field has not been emptied. The text field basically replaces and overrides any other value. But like I mentioned, it’s just a text string and cannot be used as a number reference in the code.
So I recommend a data conversion solution to apply on all products. More exactly a code that goes through all products; empties the “Custom text” field and sets the “Days” field to “21”.
As you may know though, customisations like these are beyond the scope of our support. I’d like to help out to create a solution for you but it will take some time (a couple of weeks). If you need the solution now, we can talk more about a paid customisation job, or I recommend reaching out to a professional on a platform such as https://www.codeable.io/ .
If you decide to hire someone, the ACF field keys for the fields are “estimated_delivery__custom_text” and “estimated_delivery__days” (they’ll know what to do with them).

At the moment we can only inform the customer if the product is in stock (5 days) and out of stock (3 weeks) and this is not displayed correctly at shopping cart (out of stock displayed in stock). I’m not entirely sure you’re familiar with the support policy on the Envato market. Your request falls under feature request or customisations which are not part of the support.
However I understood you had specific needs, and I wanted to help you and do you a favor by figuring out a solution that works for you, even adapting more to your needs by trying to find alternatives. The fact that I didn’t helped you on the spot is totally unreasonable to ask since Rey is a stock item and bought as it is.
Anyway, I already implemented a solution last week by extending the two “text fallback” controls from the Customizer, to suport numerical value and thus detect it as a “data” field (and not text), which allowed adjusting the code to override and calculate the date.
I’m sorry I haven’t replied back with news about it but I thought I made myself clear that I am going to find a solution.

On this page you show how to display the delivery time in the shopping cart for products but It’s not working. Same think for the Estimated delivery tab on the product page, it is not working as descripted. Is your latest changes fix this problem? If so, when is the next theme update scheduled? What I did was to add support to these fields ex: https://d.pr/i/4zQXlx , to input a numeric value here. Basically this sets a global default for either Out of stock or On Backorder products.
If you want to override the estimated delivery days number for a specific product (regardless if it’s in stock or not), you can just adjust the Days number there ex: https://d.pr/i/yMSlk2 . I don’t recommend using the Custom Text here, and simply just empty it everywhere and rely on the Days field.
In the frontend where est delivery is showing, if you want to show in weeks (instead of say – 21 days, show 3 weeks), please use this custom code snippet https://d.pr/n/KKCP4d .

Hey! Did you switched to numeric only value (ex https://d.pr/i/4zQXlx )? For example setting “21” days for both fields. And ensure to clear the “Custom text” fields from the products.
Afterwards in the product page and Checkout/Cart, the range of days should be all right.

It won’t override the existing content, however it would change some settings (for example picking the homepage).
