I am a bit shocked and confused because a week back all the documentation links were working and now it says Page cannot be found. Where can i find documentation for Form Builder, Listing Pages, Elementor Templates, Single Listing editing, Locations, Categories, etc. Its now removed from public docs and i am really thinking about complaining to Envato regarding this.
The documentation seems to only focus on the following: Installation basics
Demo import Shortcodes Payment settings Notifications Ads manager
Also your Youtube channel seems to be outdated and no new blog post in last 1 year. Guys if you are planning to close the shop then please have some mercy on us
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
Please note that docs are still there please read out our documentation on https://docs.listingprowp.com/.
Further please note that videos are same because we never change the structure so don’t worry about it. Its not our dated. If you will check we have given update few days ago. And why we need to close this trending product?
So please feel free and keep using it, Our support team also active.
Best regards,
Customer Success Manager
Where do you guys explain importing of custom field? i don’t see anything related to meta key (if thats used) in your documentation. Your documentation just talks about sample template which has zero custom field in it https://docs.listingprowp.com/knowledgebase/how-to-import-bulk-listings/
You also link to this documentation: https://docs.listingprowp.com/go/guide/ if this is old and useless then kindly remove it. Let me know if i need to open up a support ticket for this, it should be already part of your documentation and as i said before, your documentation is not professional at all and neither it explain the features within the theme and lastly check the search option in your documentation link which provides randomly everything rather then the specific keyword.
Your support is worse then your documentation. They shared the same plugin and sample CSV file.

Hello Hammad,
Thank you for your message. We truly understand your frustration and we are here to help you resolve this as smoothly as possible.
Firstly, please come out of the concept that the documentation is incorrect. The documentation is accurate and fully up to date regarding the bulk import process. There is no missing step—custom fields are imported simply by following the sample CSV and adding your custom meta keys as new columns in that same file.
Our support team has already shared the sample CSV file with you and provided initial guidance. You just need to prepare your own CSV by adding your custom fields using that sample format. Once done, please send the prepared file to our support team—they will be happy to import it for you directly and also record a video tutorial so you can learn the complete process.
We truly request you to stay calm. We are here because of our customers and our support team always puts full effort into resolving issues. We completely understand you might be frustrated, but please continue the discussion with support and allow them to take responsibility for completing the import for you.
We assure you—your problem will be solved. Just please upload the CSV with custom fields and let the team take it forward.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
We look forward to resolving this for you.
Thanks.
Hi,
Please note that it depends on which element or section you’ve added to the homepage. It’s possible that the element is set to display listings from specific categories or authors only.
Kindly contact our support team and share your site details so they can check your setup and guide you accordingly:

Hi, it is possible to implement WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) level AA. Best Regards
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out.
ListingPro follows standard accessibility best practices, but full WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance is not included by default.
However, it can be achieved through custom development and adjustments. If you’d like guidance or recommendations on implementing these accessibility standards, please contact our support team here: https://help.listingprowp.com/

Hi CridioStudio_Support
I would like to show in the Listing-Details, when the Listing was created. Not the renewal date, e.g., when a free entry is reactivated after expiration.
So i use class=”listing-date” and get_the_date It looks fine, but it is not the creation date but the modification date(get_the_modified_date)
Both queries return the same date: <?php echo get_the_date(‘d.m.Y’, get_the_ID()); ?> <?php echo get_the_modified_date(‘d.m.Y’, get_the_ID()); ?>
Can you tell me, where i can find the real creation date from a Listing?
Thanks and BR Richard
Hi Richard,
Thanks for reaching out!
The function get_the_modified_date() does work for fetching the modified date, while get_the_date() retrieves the post creation date. However, in ListingPro, the creation and renewal processes sometimes update the post date, so both values may appear the same.
If you’re not getting the exact original creation date, this would require some custom work to fetch and display it properly. You may contact wpvender.com . They can assist you in implementing this customization.

Hi Kashif,
Thanks for reaching out.
We’re really sorry, but on the archive (listing-categories) page, the footer isn’t included as part of the theme’s default design.
If you’d like to have it displayed there, it would require some custom work to implement.

2.9.9 is available as download not 2.9.10
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
We’re currently checking the details — it could be that the version update wasn’t reflected in the code header, but the file itself is already up to date. No worries!

Hello, after updating the theme from 2.9.8 to 2.9.9 I see a notice in red that can’t be disabled about updating both plugins:
1—- ListingPro Plugin
2—- ListingPro Reviews
However, in the install plugins section I don’t see update options for them, nor I see update options in the plugins settings.
How do I update the plugins?
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
Please follow the steps below to update the plugins:
Go to your WordPress Dashboard → Plugins.
Delete both plugins:
ListingPro Plugin
ListingPro Reviews
Once deleted, you’ll see a notice at the top of your dashboard with an option to “Begin installing plugins.”
Click on that option — you’ll find the latest versions of both plugins available for installation.
⚠️ Important: If you’ve made any custom modifications directly in the plugin files, please make sure to create a backup before deleting them.
This will ensure you have the most recent versions compatible with your updated theme.

It would be great if you explain how to modify the mobile view of the theme as i couldnt figure it out yet while i see only 1 design no matter what style i choose from the theme options!!
Using the theme with elementor
Thx
Hi conceptr980,
Thanks for reaching out!
Our theme offers three responsive layout options for mobile view:
User Responsive Mode – makes the mobile view look similar to the desktop layout.
App View – provides a mobile app–style layout.
App View 2 – a second app-style layout with a different design approach.
You can select your preferred layout by navigating to: Theme Options → Listings → General
Additionally, it would be great if you could share what kind of further customization you’re looking for — this will help us guide you more precisely.

I need to add an option for businesses to upload PDF files, such as certificates of quality. This should be available for paid packages. How do I add such custom fields? Thanks.
Hi qualistery,
Thanks for reaching out!
We’re sorry, but currently, there isn’t an option to allow businesses to upload PDF files (such as certificates) directly. However, this is a valuable suggestion, and we’ll definitely consider adding this feature in a future update.
Best regards,
Customer Success Manager
Thank you. I look forward to this update to make a purchase. Do you have a time projection for this feature?
Obviously we will do it upon internal meeting, Further we shall be sharing the logs if it will be included.
Hello team, j Just a suggestion. Can you build a more intense listing view with Bold Verified tag etc. One of the world’s most dominant B2C directory JustDial.com can be a place to capture how a listing is presented. Personally i find we have room for making the listing view more sharper and paid listing can have some bold markers to differentiate a free listing versus a paid listing plan. For your perusal and review please. Thanks in advance. regards, parag
Hi Parag,
Thank you so much for your valuable suggestion! We really appreciate your feedback and the reference to JustDial — that’s a great example. Your idea about enhancing the listing view with bold verified tags and distinct markers for paid listings is excellent, and we’ll surely take it into consideration for future improvements.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us!

How do you install the (free) petfinder demo? its not included in the setup wizard. thanks
okay I figured it out – not super intuitive (having to download it and upload it as a plugin and then going back to themes) – however, none of the dummy content uploaded for PetFinder and the homepage doesnt have a finder – its all messed up.
Hi Christy,
Glad to hear you were able to figure out the installation part!
For the issue with the PetFinder demo and missing dummy content, please contact our support team through the following link: https://help.listingprowp.com/ticket/

Dear Team, we have to delete the old site due to DDOS attack so we are building from scratch. All previous test sites are now deleted. Just wondering why cant we add the purchase code to the test site we are building now ? https://visit2australia.websrus.net.au/
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. It seems your purchase code has already been utilized on one website, which is why it’s not working on the new test site. You might be trying it in the same environment.
Please share the details of your new website with us through our support portal, https://help.listingprowp.com/ and we’ll reset your license for you.
Best regards,

Hi Team,
We recently experienced a severe incident with our site https://www.visit2australia.com.au (site is now DELETED). , which is built entirely on the ListingPro theme and hosted on AWS EC2 (Bitnami stack).
Within minutes of restoring a clean backup (dated 24 September 2025), our EC2 instance was flooded with repeated POST /wp-login.php and POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php requests originating from a few IP ranges (mainly 20.171.207.46 and 196.251.71.69).
The WordPress core, theme, and plugins were fully updated at the time of the incident. Despite that, the site became unresponsive within minutes, suggesting either:
a security vulnerability in the ListingPro theme or one of its bundled plugins, or
a botnet exploiting an exposed AJAX endpoint related to the theme’s front-end submission or login process.
We’ve already performed full scans, blocked the abusive IPs, and resecured the instance with WAF + rate limits, but we’d appreciate your team’s urgent input on:
Whether there are any known vulnerabilities in the latest ListingPro version that could be abused via admin-ajax.php or login hooks.
Whether there’s an official security patch or recommended hardening guide specific to ListingPro’s AJAX or front-end forms.
If any bundled plugins (like ListingPro Plugin or LP Addons) are known to expose public AJAX endpoints without nonce validation.
Given that the issue reappeared immediately after restoring a clean backup, we suspect this may be theme-related rather than a generic brute-force.
Any clarification or official guidance from your security or development team would be appreciated.
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out and for providing such a detailed explanation of the issue — we truly appreciate your thoroughness.
Please note that ListingPro already includes proper nonce verification in all AJAX requests and front-end submissions to ensure protection against unauthorized access and CSRF-type vulnerabilities.
Regarding your concern about security vulnerabilities, we want to assure you that all known issues have been addressed in the latest version of the theme and its bundled plugins. Our development team continuously audits and hardens the code to maintain security and performance integrity.
Additionally, we are currently preparing a new update, which will include further improvements and optimizations for enhanced stability and security. This update will be released as soon as possible.
In the meantime, we also recommend:
Keeping all themes and plugins updated to the latest version.
Using a WAF or rate-limiting firewall (as you already have).
Rest assured, the incident you described doesn’t appear to originate from the theme itself, as nonce validation is already implemented in both the ListingPro core and its add-ons.
If you’d like, our team can review your setup once the site is restored to ensure everything aligns with the best security practices.
Best regards,
Customer Success Manager
Thanks a lot for the clarification and assurance — much appreciated.
We’ll proceed with restoring the site on a new AWS EC2 instance (gp3 storage, updated Bitnami WordPress stack) and keep Cloudflare WAF + rate limits active.
Once it’s online, I’d be happy to share temporary admin access so your team can review the setup and confirm it aligns with ListingPro’s current best practices.
Appreciate your prompt response and continued support.
Sure, You are welcome
