Hi, I’m planning to build a website to sell (classified) and rent vehicles. Is it possible to do both from a single installation of the Motors theme? Example: If I create a website using your theme, can I let people add their vehicles on my site to sell and rent both from the same website? or need to have separate websites to sell and rent?
Hello there!
Thank you for your interest in the Motors theme.
Actually, the Classified and Car Rental systems operate on completely different demo layouts and have different logic. Therefore, it is not possible to have both functionalities running simultaneously within a single website installation.
As a solution, we recommend creating a sub-site (for example, on a subdomain) specifically for the Rental section and simply adding a link to it in the menu of your main Classified website.
Best regards,
Hi. Can usual car listing demos later be converted to multi type listings? because i didn’t see the multi listing types plugin installable in other listing demos except 5. And your multi listing elementor demo 5 has problems, such as filters not working in additional listing types, so i can’t go for it for now.
Hello there!
Thank you for your request.
Yes, the demos can be converted to multi-type listings. You can download the Motors Listing Types plugin directly from our documentation here: https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/motors-theme-documentation/motors-listing-types/getting-startedRegarding the Elementor Classified 5 demo, could you please clarify exactly what issues you are encountering with the filters in the additional listing types? We have checked this on our side and haven’t noticed any problems with the filters. Could you please provide us with step-by-step guide on how to reproduce this issue?
Best regards,
I see. Thanks. https://motors.stylemixthemes.com/elementor-classified-five/motorcycles/ demo multi listings, the filter changes stuck loading. Though after changing price it applies. It works in wp bakery, as well cars listings.
Thank you for clarification. We have fixed the issue, but it’s on the test now. We will include it to the next update.
Best regards,
Hello, I have a client that is using this template, and the website is broken now (usados.madeiramotores.net)...
Somehow the website now is asking for extra money, “Upgrade to PRO”, to get an build-in listing template, witch was the standard when we started with this template.
Since we dont have PRO, we have to build the listing page manualy for each listing, witch is not the way this was working when we purshased the template, and its not pratical for this client to do this.
Is this kind of change even allowed here? We bought the template with specific feature and way of working, and later you remove it and ask for more payment?
Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out and sorry to hear about the trouble with usados.madeiramotores.net.
Regarding built-in listing templates: they have always been available only in Motors Pro and have never been included in the regular Motors theme. Most likely there’s confusion with the default single-listing template or with Elementor templates, which are available to both theme and Pro users.
If you’re using WPBakery, you can create one single-listing template and apply it to all listings automatically. Here’s the exact guide: https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/motors-theme-documentation/single-listing/listing-templates#how-to-create-a-single-listing-template-using-wpbakeryPlease try this method and let me know if it solves the issue and fits your client’s needs.
Best regards,
Misleading trying to get a refund on this as i brought this with the app and the app is misleading. Got the refund from the app but they are refusing to refund this template. I having to go to the bank and get a charge back. Envato said they will lock my account
Don’t buy this or there app unless you want to hard time getting money back
Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out regarding your refund request.
We’re sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve encountered. Our team member has asked for clarification on the grounds for your refund request for the theme, but unfortunately, we haven’t received a detailed response yet. We’d like to remind you that, per Envato’s refund policy, a refund may be denied if you do not provide sufficient information explaining your entitlement to one. You can find more details here: https://themeforest.net/page/customer_refund_policy .
We encourage you to review this policy and submit any additional details through the official Envato support channel to avoid further issues.
We’re here to assist if you have more questions!
Best regards,
We operate fully transparently in accordance with Envato’s refund policy, which you can review here: https://themeforest.net/page/customer_refund_policy . Additionally, we have not yet received the detailed responses requested by our agent to process your refund request.
Best regards,
As stated in the ticket, refund requests are not processed through our support system — they must be submitted via your personal Envato account. In your Envato request, no clarifying responses were provided, so it was declined accordingly. Our agent has addressed all questions in the ticket system.
Additionally, tickets are automatically closed due to inactivity after several days. Since no response was received from you, the system closed your request.
In ticket Z101500, you mentioned that the template doesn’t suit your purpose. Please note that this case does not qualify for a refund under Envato’s policy. You can review it here: https://themeforest.net/page/customer_refund_policy.
We kindly ask that you use professional language in all communications.
Best regards,
As we mentioned earlier, refund requests are processed through the dedicated section in your Envato account, where you submit the request and our managers respond. Since the theme purchase is handled on the Envato platform, all refund processing occurs exclusively there.
Regarding the theme refund, the policy is set by Envato, not us. If you have questions about how this policy aligns with your country’s legislation, please direct them to Envato support. Once again, we kindly ask you to review Envato’s refund policy here: https://themeforest.net/page/customer_refund_policy.
We also request that you maintain professional language in all communications.
Best regards,
Since you’ve already contacted Envato support, let’s wait for their team’s response. They’ve confirmed that StylemixThemes approved the refund for the app, and they will contact us for further investigation about your theme refund request within 2–5 business days.
We’ll stay on standby if you need further assistance.
Best regards,
Your submission reference number is accc-report:0092519
We’re really sorry you’re feeling frustrated — that’s the last thing we want.
Just to clarify: we don’t have any control over Envato’s own support tickets and can’t see or manage them, but every message you sent directly to us was answered (even though we know the replies weren’t what you hoped for).
As for the legal side, we’d kindly suggest reaching out to Envato themselves — they’ll be able to explain exactly how their refund policy applies under the laws in your country.
We truly regret that things turned out this way and wish there was more we could do from our end. Unfortunately, under Envato’s current policy your case doesn’t qualify for a refund, and we’re not able to change that decision.
Thank you for your understanding, and we’re still here if there’s anything else we can help with.
Best regards,
If you have any questions about the refund policy, please feel free to contact Envato support directly.
You can review the full policy here: https://themeforest.net/page/customer_refund_policy
Best regards,
Thank you for your support the other day for www.swakopbudgetcarhire.com.
We’d like to find out more about the backend managment system for the car rentals, I have looked at the manual but there is no information.
Date Visibility in Orders: The current backend order view does not clearly or easily present the start date and end date for a rental booking.
Is there a specific meta box, custom column, or setting within the theme or an integrated plugin (like WooCommerce or a dedicated booking plugin) that needs to be enabled to display the rental dates directly in the main Orders list or prominently within the individual Order details screen?
Scalability and Date Conflicts: As our customer base grows, relying solely on order confirmation emails to track and manage all active rental dates is not sustainable and opens the door for manual errors and double-bookings.
Question: Does the theme include, or is it compatible with, a centralized booking calendar/dashboard? If so, what is the path to access it, and how does it visually represent date conflicts or car availability across multiple customer orders? For example if there is a manual offsite booking, how do we log it into the site?
Hello there!
Thank you for your continued interest and for following up on the backend management for car rentals at www.swakopbudgetcarhire.com — we’re glad the support from the other day was helpful!
Yes, everything is fully automated and centralized in our system.
All order data, including rental start and end dates, is displayed in the WooCommerce Orders section via custom fields. These fields are automatically populated upon booking, so you can view them directly in the Orders section without needing extra meta boxes or plugins.
For scalability and date conflicts, the system prevents double-bookings by design — it automatically checks availability across all orders and won’t allow the same vehicle to be booked for overlapping dates, reducing manual errors. We don’t recommend creating manual orders offsite, as this bypasses the system’s checks and could lead to conflicts. Instead, always create bookings through the frontend (as users do) to maintain accuracy and avoid double-bookings. If you have manual offsite bookings, log them by creating a new order via the frontend with the exact dates, then mark it as “Completed” in WooCommerce to block those dates in the calendar.
If this doesn’t fully address your setup or you need screenshots/guides, feel free to share more details!
Best regards,
Thank you so much for your quick reply and effort. We are about to go live!
The custom fields did work for us. This is a good solution.
You said: If you have manual offsite bookings, log them by creating a new order via the frontend with the exact dates, then mark it as “Completed” in WooCommerce to block those dates in the calendar. When you say this do you mean through the check out page?
Also one issue we have been experiencing through the check out – the test users receive an empty cart when they proceed with a order to pay. Once they have selected the dates, the page return with a empty cart. Please can you advise?
Hello there!
Thank you so much for the update — we’re thrilled to hear you’re about to go live and that the custom fields worked perfectly!
Yes, exactly — since there’s no manual order creation, the best way is to create the booking through the site just like a regular user would.
Regarding the empty cart issue at checkout for your test users, we need to take a closer look at your site settings to identify what’s causing it. Please open a ticket here: https://support.stylemixthemes.com/tickets/new and include a quick description of the problem plus temporary WP admin access.
Best regards,
Thank you again for the quick response! Can I ask, at what stage does the booking date get confirmed within the WooCommerce. On processing or completed?
The booking dates are considered confirmed and blocked in the calendar only when the WooCommerce order status is “Completed” (or paid, if you use a payment gateway that automatically sets it to Completed).
Best regards,
Good evening. I’m interested in purchasing your template for my car rental company based in Greece. I’d like to ask whether the following scenario is supported by your template (I’ll use an example to clarify):
Let’s assume someone rents one of my cars (at a rate of €100 per day), starting on December 1st at 09:00 and returns it on December 4th at 13:00. Will the final charge be for 3 days (€300) or 4 days (€400)? Will I be able to set an extra fee in case the car is returned a few hours later than the exact 72-hour (3-day) period?
Also, can I set a minimum rental duration per vehicle?
Thank you.
Hello there!
Good evening! Thank you for your interest in our template for your car rental company in Greece!
Regarding your scenario: if someone rents a car at €100 per day, starting December 1st at 09:00 and returning it on December 4th at 13:00, our template allows you to set both daily and hourly rates, which are calculated together for the final charge. You can find more details about the pricing system here: https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/motors-theme-documentation/car-rental-layout-features/pricing-system .
Additionally, you have the flexibility to set minimum and maximum rental durations per vehicle, allowing you to enforce specific limits. To explore these settings further, I recommend checking our backend demo here: https://stylemixthemes.com/motors/free-trial-demos/ , where you can test the configuration firsthand.
If you have more questions or need assistance setting this up, feel free to let me know!
Best regards,
hello i purchased the theme, havent installed it yet, a day later i discover you have a seperate motor classifed plugin for $99 or something.. so whats the difference?? i bought a less motor theme plug in now?
i dont get it man..
like why when i even install a free motors plugin on twenty 5 theme, try it out, but the vehicle page the menu is gona and the logo is stuck to to the top left always..
Hello there!
Thank you for purchasing the Motors Theme, and I’m sorry for the confusion — I’m here to clarify things for you! Yes, in addition to the theme, we offer a separate Motors Pro Plugin, which costs around $99.
Here’s the difference: the Motors Theme provides various pre-built demo layouts tailored for different automotive businesses, such as dealerships, classifieds, rentals, and more, including a subscription feature for classifieds. On the other hand, the Motors Pro Plugin includes two premium Motors skins (unique designs), premium add-ons like VIN Decoder, Car Info Autocomplete, Social Login, and more, with all new features being exclusive to Pro users moving forward. More details you can find here https://stylemixthemes.com/car-dealer-plugin/
Regarding your experience with the free Motors Plugin on the Twenty Twenty-Five theme, the issue arises because default themes like Twenty Twenty-Five use Gutenberg templates instead of a traditional header, which aren’t applied consistently across all pages. These themes lack header.php and footer.php files, causing the menu and logo to behave unexpectedly (e.g., the logo sticking to the top left). For a smoother test, I recommend trying it with other themes, such as Ocean WP, which offer better compatibility with our plugin.
If you’d like further assistance or want to explore the Pro Plugin, feel free to let me know!
Best regards,
Hello Boss
I’m planning to create a business/automotive directory for automotive services, and during my research, I found this plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/web-20-directory-plugin-for-wordpress/6463373 .Before proceeding, I’d like to know if this plugin is compatible with the Motors Theme, since it offers the features I’m looking for and integrates with WooCommerce for listing payments.
While exploring further, I came across UListing by Stylemix Themes: https://stylemixthemes.com/wordpress-classified-plugin/ . According to the description, it can also be used to create business directories. My questions are:
Is the Web 2.0 Directory Plugin compatible with Motors Theme?
If I decide to use UListing, will it work seamlessly with the Motors Theme? Considering that the Motors Listing Plugin is already installed and active, could this cause any conflict or compatibility issues?
Does UListing offer the same or similar features as the Web 2.0 Directory Plugin, and can listings be paid for using WooCommerce?
I also noticed that UListing includes its own login and registration system, which I don’t plan to use since I want a single login system for both car listings and business directory listings. Is that possible to configure?
Lastly, I noticed that UListing is not available on CodeCanyon—is there a specific reason for this?
I’d really appreciate a detailed explanation to help me choose the best option for my project.
Hello there!
Thank you for your interest in creating a business/automotive directory!
We haven’t tested the Web 2.0 Directory Plugin or uListing with the Motors Theme, as we’ve developed the Repair Service demo specifically for automotive services. We recommend exploring this demo in the Motors Theme, which may suit your needs: https://motors.stylemixthemes.com/car-repair-service/.
Best regards,
Hello Sir
I noticed there’s an “Unlock Pro” button under the list of Motors Plugin Settings. When I clicked it, I was redirected to this page: https://stylemixthemes.com/car-dealer-plugin/pricing?utm_source=wp-admin&utm_medium=push&utm_campaign=motors&utm_content=goproMy question is: for users who purchased the plugin from CodeCanyon, do we still need to buy the Pro version from your website? It seems like we already have access to most of the listed features, except for “Autocomplete by Make, Model, and Year.”
Could you please provide more insight and a detailed explanation of the difference between the CodeCanyon version and the Pro version?
Hi Stylemix Themes Team,
I hope you’re doing well.
i would like to move all my WordPress media files (uploads) to an Amazon S3 bucket for cloud storage. Could you please let me know which plugin is fully compatible with your themes for this purpose?
Additionally, once the media files are moved to the S3 bucket, is the ShortPixel plugin still necessary for image optimization, or would it become redundant after the migration?
Thank you in advance for your help and guidance!
Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out, and I hope you’re doing well too!
We’re sorry, but we can’t recommend a specific plugin for integrating with Amazon S3 for cloud storage, as we haven’t fully tested any with Motors to ensure complete compatibility.
As for the ShortPixel plugin for image optimization, it’s safe to keep it active even after migrating your media files to the S3 bucket — it won’t hurt and could still provide benefits depending on your optimization needs.
Best regards,
Thank you for your response. I’ve contacted the author/developer of a plugin, and he mentioned that it has been tested with Motor themes. I’m planning to try it out and run a series of tests to confirm its compatibility and performance.
If it works as expected, it should resolve a major issue — images taking up my server space and potentially slowing down the site. In that case, I won’t have to worry about images not being deleted or consuming unnecessary storage.
I’ll post an update once I’ve completed my testing.
Hello i have been able to successfully use s3 on my website and it worked well, all images are currently calling from cloud and no issue was found
Hello, would you mind to include WPBakery update 8.7.2 in next motors update ? Thank you very much.
Hi, I’m really confused — the booking calendar doesn’t enforce minimum rental days properly. If a user selects invalid dates, there’s no message or guidance, and the booking just fails. I reached out to the customization team for help, but the quote I received was extremely overpriced. Can someone from the team clarify if this is intentional, or is it a bug that can be fixed without such a high cost?
Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out about the booking calendar issue — I’m sorry it’s causing confusion! It seems I might not fully understand your request. If a user selects fewer days than the set minimum rental period, they should see a notice like the example below.
However, I’ve noticed you’re using an older version of the theme and its plugins, and you also have third-party plugins and customizations active on your site, which could be contributing to the problem.
I recommend updating to the latest version of the theme and plugins — you can find instructions here: https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/motors-theme-documentation/getting-started/how-to-update-motors. Additionally, please try disabling third-party plugins and customizations to check for any conflicts.
Once you’ve done that, let me know if these steps help resolve the issue or if the booking failure persists without a message.
Best regards,
Thank you for the reference. We have fixed this function. Thanks for the quick reply.
We’re delighted to hear the function is fixed!
We’d truly appreciate it if you could share a review for our service here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/motors-car-dealership-classified-listings/#reviews. Your kind words motivate our team!
Best regards,
Hello, I’m using the Auto Rental 1 theme, and on the final page of checkout, the total price isn’t including the discount that’s set based on the number of days. I’ve had this problem for over two months now. I’ve previously reported this issue, but there’s still no solution. Please urgently review this and send an update with the fix, as it’s very important. I’ve never had any problems with your theme before, and this is the first time something like this has happened. Please provide a solution.
Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out .
We understand how critical this is, especially since you’ve had a positive experience with our theme until now. The task is currently in the testing phase, and as soon as the verification is complete, we’ll release an update with the fix and notify you in the theme changelog.
Thank you for your patience while we work on this!
Best regards,
Hi, please could you solve the following stupid issue so I can avoid to override in child theme? 1) wp-content/themes/motors/listings/trade-in.php please use echo esc_html__( $formatted_text, “motors” ); rather echo esc_html( $formatted_text ) because esc_html is for escaping only and does not translate. Please update your POT file because the domain does match “Car Information” “Add your car details” “Car Condition”. Like below: $vehicle_generic_title = “vehicle”; $formatted_text = sprintf( __( ‘Add your %s details’, ‘motors’ ), strtolower( $vehicle_generic_title ) ); echo esc_html__( $formatted_text, “motors” ); /* $formatted_text = sprintf( __( ‘Add your %s details’, ‘motors’ ), strtolower( $vehicle_type_title ) ); echo esc_html( $formatted_text ); */
2) Please secure all your native forms with re-captcha for example is missing in wp-content/themes/motors/listings/modals/trade-offer.php and wp-content/plugins/motors-car-dealership-classified-listings/includes/actions.php missing recaptcha validation in stm_ajax_add_test_drive. We’ve been receiving spam emails for years, and now we’re really tired of having to align the code with every update. If it’s really a problem to make two lines of code, we’ll forward the changes to you.
Thanks
Hello there!
Thank you for your detailed request — we really appreciate you pointing out these improvements!
I’ve passed both cases to our development team for review. Once the team completes these tasks, we’ll include them in a theme update and notify you in the changelog.
We appreciate your patience!
Best regards,
I think I have found a bug with the mobile menu of the theme.
This site is based on the Car Dealership 1 demo: https://sinergymotorsports.com.auSome iPhone users have reported that the menu doesn’t appear when clicking the menu (hamburger) icon.
I don’t have an iPhone, but I can reproduce the issue on an iPad 7 (iOS18), using Safari. Issue does not occur when using Chrome on the iPad.
I can also reproduce the issue on the Car Dealership 1 demo site: https://motors.stylemixthemes.com/elementor-dealer-one/home-page-three/When I go to that URL on my iPad 7 via Safari, the mobile menu does not work.
Can you please check if this is a bug in your theme? If YES, then it should be fixed.
Hello there!
Thank you for reporting this issue with the mobile menu — we really appreciate it. I’ve passed the task to our QA team for review. If it’s confirmed to be a bug on our side, we’ll address it promptly and release an update with the fix as soon as it’s ready, notifying you in the theme changelog.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and value your feedback!
Best regards,
Hello, I just need to transfer the purchase code to a different domain because the original website is no longer working. How can I use the purchase code on a new website or domain since the previous site no longer exists with that theme? That theme is no longer in use on that other site, and WordPress was uninstalled. I just need that answer. Thank you.
Excellent. Thank you for your help. The domain that is no longer working with WordPress is Maobedata.com.
Currently, we want to use the theme purchase code on the Maobe.app site, which will be using the Motors theme with WordPress.
That’s all. Thank you for all your support. Best regards.
Thank you for details — I’ve deactivated the domain Maobedata.com from your license. You should now be able to activate it on Maobe.app with the Motors theme. We’re delighted to support you and wish you the best with your new site!
If you have a moment, we’d greatly appreciate a 5* review for our service here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/motors-car-dealership-classified-listings/#reviews — it really motivates our team!
Best regards,
Thanks for all… Cheers. Yes im going to make the review.
You’re very welcome — we’re thrilled to hear you’re planning to leave a review! Thank you so much for your support, and cheers to you too! If you need anything else, feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
Hello, sorry. The current domain is incorrect. The correct domain is maobe.app, but for some reason, it changed to Maobemuebles.com. I’m having the same problem as last time… The MOTORS theme should only work with Maobe.app; in fact, the domain Maobemuebles.com is incorrect. Please change the domain to maobe.app. Thank you very much.
No worries at all — thank you for clarifying! I’ve deactivated the domain again.
Please try activating your license on the correct domain Maobe.app by following the instructions here: https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/motors-theme-documentation/installation-and-activation/theme-activation.
Let me know how it goes!
Best regards,
Hello. I’m still having trouble with the purchase code.
My website uses shared hosting with different domains in subfolders. The domain I want to use is Maobe.app, which is in a subfolder where the Motors theme is installed. When I add the domain from Envato, it automatically switches to the main domain in the root directory, which has nothing to do with the Motors theme, and instead switches to Maobemuebles.com, which already has another theme installed.
Please help me so this doesn’t happen. I followed all the instructions, but the domain in Envato switches to the root domain and doesn’t use the subfolder with the Maobe.app domain.
Please, I need your help with this. Thanks!
When activating the license, it will display the domain from the main site in the root directory. If the license doesn’t work within the subfolder where Maobe.app is installed with the Motors theme, you’ll need to contact your hosting provider for assistance, as this relates to how subfolder domains are handled on shared hosting. They can help ensure the correct domain is recognized.
Best regards,
Ok, thanks… let me see what are they going to tell me. Thanks for your help.
Hello,
I’m having trouble activating my theme.
In my project to change my website’s domain name, I purchased a new domain name. The problem is, I didn’t deactivate my license for the domain name “engin24.com” before it expired. Now, when I log in to Envato to activate the new one, I can’t remove “engin24.com”.
Could you help me remove the domain name “engin24.com” from my license?
Thank you
Best regards
Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out about the activation issue. I’ve deactivated the domain engin24.com from your license per your request. Please try activating the license on your new domain now.
As a gentle reminder, per Envato’s policy, a license can only be used on one live project.
If you need further assistance or run into any issues, feel free to let me know!
Best regards,
i am considering to buy but got a question about custom fields.
how can i add Text Field in custom field? i dont see any option there specific for text. i hope you can add text field to able use it for license plate or other info about car.
best regards
Hello there!
Thank you for your interest in the Motors theme!
By default, only Dropdown and Number fields are available in the Custom Fields section. Additionally, in the Listing Manager > Additional Info tab, there are built-in fields for VIN Decoder, Manufacture Date, and similar data.
Unfortunately, a custom text field is not available at the moment. As a workaround, we recommend entering such information in the listing description.
To explore the full functionality, feel free to test the backend demo here: https://stylemixthemes.com/motors/free-trial-demos/Let me know if you’d like help with any other features!
Best regards,
Hello,
About three months ago, I reported an issue with the multi-type demo. When scrolling through the inventory listings, the content scrolls over the header instead of beneath it.
This problem occurs across all listing-type pages and inventories — including car racks, airplanes, and boats — as well as on the homepage where listings are displayed.
Here’s my original comment for reference: https://themeforest.net/item/motors-automotive-cars-vehicle-boat-dealership-classifieds-wordpress-theme/13987211/comments?page=4 Here are the screenshots showing the issue: https://pasteboard.co/EjUByFn5vUE2.png https://pasteboard.co/7BVFpTTw9p2v.png https://pasteboard.co/T4MIAdJXIgNc.pngIn your previous reply, you mentioned that I should disable all third-party plugins to identify the cause. I did that and confirmed it’s not related to any third-party plugin.
My caching plugin (LiteSpeed Cache) has also been disabled for a long time, so it’s not contributing to the issue either.
You also suggested it might be caused by styling, CSS, or minification. To test further, I deleted my footer, and the issue disappeared completely. However, once I added the footer back, the issue resurfaced.
This reminded me of a similar issue I faced last year where the search filter on the Cars for Sale page wasn’t working properly on mobile devices. Your developers found that the issue was due to having two footer sections on the site, which caused a conflict. They advised me to change the second footer tag from <footer> to , and that resolved the mobile filter problem.
Here’s the support ticket where that issue was documented: https://support.stylemixthemes.com/tickets/Z75874Based on that previous experience, I suspect the current scrolling-over-header issue might also be related to the footer structure.
Could you please take a look and advise me on how to fix the issue of the listings’ content moving over the header?
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Hello there!
Thank you for the detailed follow-up and for including all the references — it really helps us track the history of this issue.
To narrow down the root cause of the content scrolling over the header on all listing-type pages, could you please clarify if you have tried disabling Elementor Pro and UAE (Ultimate Addons for Elementor) plugins? Does the issue still reproduce after turning off these two plugins specifically?
Looking forward to your reply!
Best regards,
I have disabled Elementor Pro, and the issue disappeared immediately. However, once I re-enabled it, the problem returned.
The only Elementor-related plugins on my website are:
Elementor
Elementor Pro
Motors Elementor Widgets
Since these are the only three associated with Elementor, I decided to disable the Motors Elementor Widgets plugin while keeping Elementor, Elementor Pro, and all other plugins active (except LiteSpeed Cache, which remains disabled).
After doing that, all Elementor widgets disappeared from my homepage — which makes sense because I use them there extensively. However, when I checked the inventory pages (Cars for Sale, Motos for Sale, Boats for Sale), everything scrolled correctly without the content moving over the header.
Here’s a screenshot showing this: https://pasteboard.co/oqBCI5EFvssF.pngThis clearly confirms that the Motors Elementor Widgets plugin is causing the issue.
Your results show that the issue only occurs when Elementor Pro is active, and disabling Motors Elementor Widgets fixes it only because it removes Elementor Pro-dependent content. This suggests the conflict may originate from Elementor Pro’s rendering behavior.
Please contact Elementor Pro support first so they can investigate from their side.
Once they confirm or resolve the root cause, we’ll be ready to assist further if needed.
Best regards,
I contacted Elementor about this issue, and they confirmed it’s related to the Motors theme. When I deactivated the Motors Elementor Widgets plugin — while keeping Elementor and Elementor Pro active — the issue was resolved. However, once I reactivated the Motors Elementor Widgets plugin, the problem returned.
I’ll now try removing the second footer tag to see if that fixes the issue — similar to the solution provided in this ticket: https://support.stylemixthemes.com/tickets/Z75874This time, I’ll specifically remove the second footer to test if that resolves the problem.
Thank you for the clarification. We’d like to check this case directly in your site environment. Please contact our support team through the form on our page here: https://themeforest.net/user/stylemixthemes
In your request, make sure to include a detailed description of the issue, as well as your WP Admin and FTP access, so the team can investigate the case promptly.
Best regards,
Hello Motor Themes Support Team,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to report a conflict involving the MLT Listing Grid Tabs widget and Elementor Pro’s sticky header.
Issue Summary
When using the MLT Listing Grid Tabs widget on a page with an Elementor Pro sticky header, the listing images scroll over the header instead of remaining underneath it.
This causes the sticky header to be visually “covered” by the listing grid items during page scroll.
Steps to Reproduce
Create or enable an Elementor Pro sticky header
Add the MLT Listing Grid Tabs widget to a page
Include listing items with images
Scroll the page
The images overlap the sticky header during scroll
Expected Behavior
The sticky header should always remain above page content.
Actual Behavior
The MLT Listing Grid Tabs widget appears to create a stacking context (possibly due to animations or transform properties), causing it to visually rise above Elementor’s sticky header.
Temporary Fix (CSS Workaround)
I applied the following CSS as a temporary solution, which resolves the issue:
.elementor-location-header, .elementor-sticky—effects { z-index: 999999 !important; position: relative !important; }
.mlt-listing-grid-tabs { position: relative !important; z-index: 1 !important; overflow: hidden !important; }
.mlt-listing-grid-tabs img { position: relative !important; z-index: 1 !important; }
Possible Cause
It appears the widget may be applying CSS transforms or animation properties that unintentionally create a higher stacking order than the header. This results in the grid items being layered above the sticky header during scroll.
Request
Could you please review the widget’s CSS/JS to ensure the MLT Listing Grid Tabs does not override the site’s header stacking context?
A built-in fix or compatibility update would be greatly appreciated, as this affects all users who combine Motor Themes with Elementor Pro sticky headers.
Thank you for your time and support!
Kind regards,
Thank you for reaching out to the Motor Themes Support Team and for your detailed report — we truly appreciate your thoroughness!
We’re sorry to hear about the overlap issue where listing images scroll over the header. I’ve passed this along to our team for review, and they’ll investigate the potential CSS transforms or animation properties causing the higher stacking order.
To ensure we’re on the same page, could you please send a screenshot of the incorrect display of the sticky header? This will help us better understand and replicate the issue. In the meantime, we’re grateful for the temporary CSS workaround you’ve shared, and we’ll work toward a built-in fix or compatibility update for users combining Motor Themes with Elementor Pro sticky headers.
Thank you for your patience, and feel free to share the screenshot or any additional details!
Best regards,
Hi, I’m using Elementor/Car Dealership one. Also using the Motors Listing Types for custom listings plugin for all my listings.
When configuring Categories for Listing Types, and selecting “Use images for this category”, when I go into manage categories there is no image upload field.
I understand how it should work as it works fine on “Default listings” under the main Motors plugin (ie there IS a category image upload field etc).
I’ve added an image upload field to these custom listing types via ACF but not sure how to proceed to get them on the front end. Should there be an image upload field for Listing Types Categories? Thanks
Hello there!
Thank you for the detailed description — it’s very helpful.
To make sure we’re on the same page, could you please send screenshots showing exactly where in the backend you’re configuring images of the Listing Type Categories and where on the frontend you want these category images to display.
Looking forward to your screenshots!
Best regards,
Hi thanks for getting back -here’s the gallery link: https://postimg.cc/gallery/V82QW5N
This shows where I am in the backend. It’s the Listing Types custom categories (motors 1.jpg)
motors 2.jpg shows that there is a “Use images for this category” which is on. Then I go to “manage categories” > motors 3.jpg shows the fields for the categories, but no image upload field, unlike the “custom fields” section of the main Motors Listing plugin (which has all the same options).
Hope this makes sense!
thanks
Also, with regards to where I’d like the category images displayed – I would like to use as category “tiles” on the main custom listing page (in this case Honda) using the Image Categories widget.
That does bring me to another point – the Image Categories widget only seems to be able to read from Motors Default Listings custom fields, not Listing Types Categories (which I am using as “custom fields” per listing type).
So, even if I could add an image to the Listing Type Category (aka/ie custom field), it seems like the Image Categories widget only supports Default Listings custom fields.
Thank you for the clarifications — both requests have been forwarded to the development team for review. Unfortunately, I’m unable to provide exact timelines for implementation at this time.
As a temporary workaround, I suggest using images with links to pre-filtered pages — this will give you the desired functionality while we work on a permanent solution.
Let me know if you need help setting it up!
Best regards,
Hi thanks I will try this. Could you please outline how I can get filters to work for Listing Types on an Elementor page? I have tried adding the MLT Search Tabs filter/widget, where I selected my custom listing type and the taxonomy I want to filter by – so far so good…
However, I then added the Search Results widget below that (seems logical) and it just returns all listings under my custom listing type regardless of how I filter.
tldr; How do you display the output of the MLT Search Tab widget in Elementor for custom Listing Types?
Also there is reference to a MLT Classic Filter but can’t see it anywhere- and any documentation for it seems to be for WP Bakery, not Elementor.
thanks

Hi, it turns out I was doing everything correctly, however, just today I’d upgraded to Motors Pro and had switched the SEO friendly function on in the Search results page section – this seems to break the MLT functionality on at least Listing Type listings, as when I switched it off, filters worked perfectly.
thanks
