Hi,

does your theme work with WP Job Manager Packages plugin?

Didn’t test it but according to plugin authors – yes https://plugins.smyl.es/wp-job-manager-packages/

Great job, are planning to add RTL support

Unfortunately not.

Is it possible to hire multiple candidates for one project?

Hi, unfortunately not

Thank you is there an issue with the dashboard page once updating to the latest version thanks greg https://nationaltradesmen.co.uk/dashboard-page/

Could you clarify? Screenshot for context? Please send us support ticket using this form: https://docs.purethemes.net/workscout/support/

Hello purethemes, I am exploring this theme and want more information. When I visit task page, it just gives me an 404 error: https://workscout.in/task/food-rtteo5ce8-food-delivery-mobile-application-dsffsd/

Can you please show me what the task page looks like?

Hi, fixed. 9 tasks just expired. :) Thanks

Hi,

does your theme offer a way to restrict viewing jobs only to paid subscribers, or you have to buy additional plugins.

Which plugin would be able to integrate with your theme to allow this feature, only allow paid subscribers to browse jobs and view job listing details.

thanks

The theme is good, but the support has been extremely slow. I received only one support reply on 17th Nov and haven’t heard anything since. I assumed support was included.

We usually reply 24-48h and your last ticket is from 2th december so indeed a bit delayed but rest assured will be answered

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I understand delays happen. I’ll wait for your detailed response on the last ticket so I can continue working on the site. Appreciate your support.

Hi Purethemes Team,

I hope you’re doing well.

I’m writing to follow up on my support ticket #63985, originally submitted on 2nd December. It has been 10 days, and I haven’t received any update or assistance on the issue yet.

I understand that response times may vary depending on complexity, but I would really appreciate an update or an estimated timeline, as this is blocking my project work.

Please let me know if you need any additional information from my side.

Looking forward to your response.

Kind regards

Pre-Sale Question: Hi, this looks like a promising theme backed by a professional dev team. I have a few questions:

1. Do you have a sandbox where we can use the WP-Admin to see the full theme customization options? 2. Can the Employer and Candidate registration forms be customized by adding new fields and new dropdown selection options? 3. Is there an option to enable short intro video recording by default during Candidate registration? 4. Is the theme compatible with WP 6.9?

I am sure I will have more questions as we continue to explore.

Hi

ad1. No, we don’t have such option currently

ad2. Yes, the user registration forms are customizable (not to confuse with resume/job submit forms – those are also customizable but with extra plugins or in code)

ad3. We do have upload file input available but not something that would let you record itself straight away

ad4. Sure

Please tell me if I can increase the font size in the job description?

Yes, via CSS snippet

Hi,

Do I need to pay for any plugin to have all features work like the demos?

Thanks

Nope. Everything you see on demo comes with theme. Note: if you will want auto-updated for WP Job Manager you’ll need to consider purchasing own license otherwise not.

Awesome. Thank you :)

Hello,

Unfortunately my support has expired, but I do have an issue where a recent update to the Workscout Core plugin has broken my Wordpress login page. If I disable the Workscout Core plugin (version 1.7.06), I can go to mysite.com/wp-login.php just fine; if Workscout Core is enabled, I get a blank white page and no login. Is this a bug you might be aware of on your end? It only happens with the Core plugin enabled, and just started a few days ago.

Thank you!

Thank you, I should have clarified – the client just updated Workscout the other day. And no other new plugins have been installed. I enabled debug mode and it came up with one line saying:

Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the workscout domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/customer/www/mysite.com/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6121

And then hundreds of lines saying:

Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property Kirki_Field_Multicheck::$label is deprecated in /home/customer/www/mysite.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/workscout/kirki/core/class-kirki-field.php on line 291

but with all the different field types… (same error message but with):

Kirki_Field_Select::$label

Kirki_Field_Select::$description

Kirki_Field_Number::$label

Kirki_Field_Radio_Image::$label

Kirki_Field_Switch::$description

etc…

I’ll see if I can eek a few more bucks out of the client to renew support. :) I do appreciate it. But it does seem directly related to something in Workscout/Workscout Core—as I’ve tried disabling every single plugin and theme, and the issue is not affected; the only time the issue is resolved (where the blank white login page is fixed and shows the WP Login) is when I disable the Workscout Core plugin itself. So even if not able to help solve this particular case, hopefully the debug messages above help pinpoint if there are any issues within Workscout and/or the Workscout Core plugin for a future public update. :) Thank you!

the “Deprecated” message is not an error that could cause it, where do you host that site? Also check if you have in WorkScout Core -> Registration the first option checked (the forced front-end login) – if you do try to uncheck it

Thank you! That was what did it—disabling “Enable Forced Front End Login.” We’ve had that setting on for years, to get that nice stylized login page, so I’m not sure what would have suddenly broken it or conflicted with it. But keeping that enabled is not a huge deal, so unchecking it took care of the white screen issue. Thank you again!

Curious how the internal messaging feature would work on a multisite install if Workscout was network activated. Can a user message across sub-blogs or have one central place to manage messages?

It’s per single page then, each site will have separate messages

Ok, would be a great feature if it could be across all blogs.

I’m using the WorkScout theme on my website Buscandobrete.com, and I’ve noticed that some candidate profile photos appear oval, while others display as circles.

Before making any custom changes, I would like to understand if this is normal behavior of the theme or if there is a recommended setting to keep all profile images consistently circular across the site.

Any general guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

I think this is only happening with importer pictures from demo. If you will reupload profile pics for freelancers they will get proper aspect ratio

Hi, do you offer customization services for your theme?

Hi, unfortunately not.

does this theme work with RTL and Arabic

I am afraid no

Hi – how can I edit the page layout/template for blog posts? I’ve searched through the theme /templates folder, but only see templates for job listings. I want to get rid of the left sidebar, remove the image link (which links to itself), enlarge the featured image and make other layout changes to posts.

Same with the list of posts itself (on the /blog page)... the update from Workscout 3 to 4 changed this layout. It used to be image on top, then the summary below. Now it’s a square image to the left of the text, which gets cropped. Where can I change this back or edit the blog listing template? Thank you!

Sorry – I should specify – I’d like to edit the actual PHP template files, i.e. in a child theme. Under Customize > Blog, I don’t see options to change the actual blog layout (except moving the sidebar to the left or right), or the layout of the blog previews. The layout on the site with Workscout 3 looks like this:

https://i.ibb.co/j9bYs8nz/Workscout-Blog-3-0-17.png

In Workscout 4 it looks like this:

https://i.ibb.co/DDVgxykj/Workscout-Blog-4-1.png

Which is fine, but I’d like to edit the appearance of that, change the image size/orientation, etc. so our images don’t get cropped. But I don’t see blog template files under the /templates folder, unless I’m missing something. Where can I find the template files to edit if I copy them to a child theme? Thanks!

Hi

that’s index.php for blog view, and template-parts/content.php for each blog post

Awesome – thank you!

Hi.. How do we send email verification to user during registration?

Please fix this issue.

Please send support ticket so your request won’t be ‘lost’ here in comment sections https://docs.purethemes.net/workscout/support/

I already raised ticket. Seems it was lost. I have replied again.

You have blocked my license for my domain. I try to contact you by email but do not get entrance anywhere. Please let me know where to contact you

Hi, we didn’t receive any email from you. Try now, we removed old domains from your license key. Is there any specific error?

Hi. Great looking theme. Couple of questions:

1) Is it correct that your theme does not allow custom fields? It would be great to have custom fields for the candidates, the employers, and the job postings. This seems very important, and a lot of other job themes have this.

2) I see that you use WordPress Job Manager plugin. The WP job manager has a lot of premium features, which I think I need. Should I purchase the full version of that plug-in? Or have you built on top of that plug-in with additional features?

Thanks!

Since job board is a specific niche there is no that much demand on custom fields but https://plugins.smyl.es/wp-job-manager-field-editor/

Addons can be installed with theme but to get updates you’d need to consider purchasing own license

I noticed that the WorkScout theme includes several global currencies, but the Costa Rican colón (CRC) is not available yet. Do you plan to add or update it in any upcoming releases? It would be great to have this option included for users in Costa Rica.
