Before proceeding with the update, I’d like to confirm if the current version of the Electro theme has already been tested with WordPress 7.0 and if it’s safe to update without compatibility issues.

Home v6 is part of one single demo. You can import it from Appearance > Import Demo Content > Home v1 – v9 (Template/WP Bakery) or Home v1 -v9 (Elementor) if you prefer Elementor.

Sort by Popularity is an included feature of WooCommerce. This should be available out of the box without any additional coding requirement.
As for randomness, you’ll have to write custom code to achieve that.

I am using the latest version of the Electro theme, but the bundled WPBakery Page Builder plugin is still on version 6.9.0. This version is causing 40+ PHP Deprecated errors on my site running PHP 8.2/8.3.
Can you please provide the latest version of WPBakery (8.x) bundled with the theme update, or let me know how I can update it to fix these compatibility issues?

Thank you for reaching us. The latest version of WP Bakery Page Builder is 8.7.2.
Our theme does not bundle the plugin within its package. Instead the latest version is served through our servers. You can simply de-activate and delete WP Bakery Page Builder and install again from Appearance > Install Plugins. This will install the latest version of the plugin.

Guys, I have an issue with my website homepage, and it is set up on the homepage v7 layout. In the vertical menu, slider, category, and banner sections, I have 5 categories in the list. But there is no image showing for this category list. Please advise how to fix it

Hi, I am using a older version of the theme. Elementor was not available then. I want to redesign the homepage and some other sections. Can I use both Elementor Visual Composer? No, I guess? Are the two versions of the theme completely different? If the website is build in VComposer, does it have to be rebuilt with Elementor from scratch?
One more thing.. I want to edit some elemements with CSS. but adding the CSS change even with important sign does not work. e.g.
.da-block .da-text { text-transform: none !important; } but the text is still shown as uppercase.
How can I edit the CSS code?

1. You can use both Elementor and WP Bakery Page Builder at the same time. It would be difficult to use both the page builders on the same page but on different pages on the same website you can use.
WP Bakery Page Builder works on shortcodes whereas Elementor works on rendering the content dynamically from the JSON data stored in postmeta.
Some home pages in our theme are built using Elementor only. Please let us know what you’d like to achieve and we shall provide the correct suggestion.
2. As for the CSS, I am not sure what the issue is please email our support with the screenshot of the issue and we’ll help resolve it.

Hello, I’d appreciate any information on how to set up the search bar on the product page to be in the same location as the home page. Electro > Header > Header Styles applies to all pages of your website except home pages and pages that use home page templates. Home page header styles are set from the page options as show here : https://docs.madrasthemes.com/electro/topics/set-up-pages/home-v1/home-v1-via-page-template/#home-v1-page-options
You can set the same header as your theme by editing the page option.

Thank you for the confirmation. You are correct. The issue will occur even when WP Bakery is not used.
The issue with the plugin update is due to cached resource. We’ve now purged the cache. You should be able to update the plugin to its latest version.

Looking at your website it looks like that you are expecting preview images. Please note preview images are not included with the demo import. Only placeholder images are included.
I also noticed that you’ve not assigned any menus to their locations. Can you please check Appearance > Menus and see if the menus are imported? If you can see the menus then please ensure that their assigned to their respective locations as shown here: https://docs.madrasthemes.com/electro/topics/navigation/menus-locations/

1. The search feature used in our theme is WooCommerce’s default search which is built on WordPress’s default search. WordPress’ search is very basic and it searches only product titles and description. It does not search through attributes or Courses. You’ll have to rely on third-party plugins for advanced search.

Hi, I want to use this theme with Elementor only, without WP Bakery (due to client request). Unfortunately, the documentation you provided is very difficult to understand, and the theme requires installing all plugins in order to automatically import demo data (which also requires installing and activating WP Bakery).
Basically, can you make a video tutorial from start to finish on how to set up Elementor along with the slider and other pages?
