Hi, I am using a older version of the theme. Elementor was not available then. I want to redesign the homepage and some other sections. Can I use both Elementor Visual Composer? No, I guess? Are the two versions of the theme completely different? If the website is build in VComposer, does it have to be rebuilt with Elementor from scratch?
One more thing.. I want to edit some elemements with CSS. but adding the CSS change even with important sign does not work. e.g.
.da-block .da-text { text-transform: none !important; } but the text is still shown as uppercase.
How can I edit the CSS code?

1. You can use both Elementor and WP Bakery Page Builder at the same time. It would be difficult to use both the page builders on the same page but on different pages on the same website you can use.
WP Bakery Page Builder works on shortcodes whereas Elementor works on rendering the content dynamically from the JSON data stored in postmeta.
Some home pages in our theme are built using Elementor only. Please let us know what you’d like to achieve and we shall provide the correct suggestion.
2. As for the CSS, I am not sure what the issue is please email our support with the screenshot of the issue and we’ll help resolve it.

Electro > Header > Header Styles applies to all pages of your website except home pages and pages that use home page templates. Home page header styles are set from the page options as show here : https://docs.madrasthemes.com/electro/topics/set-up-pages/home-v1/home-v1-via-page-template/#home-v1-page-options
You can set the same header as your theme by editing the page option.

The issue with the plugin update is due to cached resource. We’ve now purged the cache. You should be able to update the plugin to its latest version.

I also noticed that you’ve not assigned any menus to their locations. Can you please check Appearance > Menus and see if the menus are imported? 1. The search feature used in our theme is WooCommerce’s default search which is built on WordPress’s default search. WordPress’ search is very basic and it searches only product titles and description. It does not search through attributes or Courses. You’ll have to rely on third-party plugins for advanced search.

Hi, I want to use this theme with Elementor only, without WP Bakery (due to client request). Unfortunately, the documentation you provided is very difficult to understand, and the theme requires installing all plugins in order to automatically import demo data (which also requires installing and activating WP Bakery).

I wanted to chime in and confirm I am experiencing the exact same issue reported by users @fahmineo and @nadiraliqureshi regarding category blocks appearing empty after the recent updates.
Specifically, in my case, the “Product List Categories” element (WPBakery) inside a Static Content / Megamenu renders the HTML container but returns an empty list (0 items).
I have performed a debug test using a native WooCommerce shortcode (e.g., [products category=”slug”]) in the same block, and it works perfectly. This confirms that the database and products are fine, but the Electro/WPBakery element query logic is broken with the latest WP/Woo versions.
Please ensure this specific WPBakery element is checked and included in your upcoming fix.

Theme & Setup Details
- Theme: Electro – Electronics Store WooCommerce Theme - Version installed: v3.6.3 - Homepage layout: Homepage v7 - WooCommerce: Installed and active v10.4.2 - Categories: Existing, active, and contain products
Issue Description
On Homepage v7, there is a section that should display category icon blocks (icons/images of product categories that link to their respective product listing pages).
This section:
- Works correctly on demo sites - Previously worked fine on this website - Is now completely empty / not displaying any data
Configuration Used
- The settings are configured under:
Electro → Homepage → Vertical Menu, Slider, Category & Banners → Category Block
✔ Enable Category Block: Checked
Category Slug: asus,acer,msi,lenovo,hp
Limit: 5
The category slugs are correct, exist in WooCommerce, and are published.
However, the frontend result is:
❌ No category icons displayed ❌ No links rendered ❌ No visible errors on the page itself
How it appears empty on our site
This setup worked previously without any issue
No custom code was added related to this block
The issue appeared without changing the configuration
Clearing cache did not resolve the problem
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated, as this section is important for homepage navigation and UX.

Hi, 1. The product place holder “electro” 2. But how can I change the menu bar to v4? Because on my about us page, the menu bar is v2, which is different from the one on the home page.
This is one of the reasons I always run away from Electro because of the problem of different menu bars for home and inner pages!
