I am currently customizing the booking workflow in the Mikado Tours plugin and I would like to synchronize the “Start Date” values from the Tour Booking → Tour Date and Days section with another custom field.
To do this correctly, I need to know which post meta key(s) the plugin uses to store the booking periods. Specifically, I would need the meta key that contains the following data:
Start Date
End Date
Selected weekdays
Departure times
Ticket limit / price change (if stored in the same structure)
Could you please confirm the exact meta key name where these booking period values are saved, and if possible, also the format/structure (array, serialized array, etc.) in which the data is stored?
This will help ensure compatibility and avoid accessing the wrong metadata.

I’ve just updated the theme. Everything works fine except that now the navigation arrows in carousels have a gray background, as if they weren’t on a transparent background. How can I change the appearance of the navigation arrows?

It could be that some 3rd party plugins is adding css to the arrows. Please deactivate all your third party plugins except bundled plugins (Mikado CPT, Mikado Membership, Mikado Tours, WPBakery, Slider Revolution…) clear browser cache and check the page. If the issue disappears, activate your plugins one by one and try to find the plugin that causes the issue.

The content you created and stylization you made will be stored in the database and this is not affected when theme is updated.
When updating theme and plugins we recommend following instructions from this article – How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins. After you update theme and plugins you should navigate to Mikado Options > General and click on ‘Save Changes’ button in order to generate a new dynamic CSS file

I have now discovered even bigger problem. After update to 2my tour item pages are not visiblle. When I click on them I got only the 404 / page not found. I guess these two problems are related. My update was from 1.3 to 2.1.2

Hello! Is it safe to disable the Mikado Membership plugin when using the Roam theme? We are not using the Social login and keeping the Membership plugin enabled seems to be loading unnecessary scripts and styles, so we are considering disabling it (but there is a notice saying the plugin is required by the theme, so we just wanted to make sure). We assume you’re referring to the notice by Wordfence, however, this notice is not for the Büro theme and it is not for the Mikado Core plugin included with the theme. The notice is for Roam theme and its Mikado Core plugin. Note that Mikado Core plugin included with Roam Theme is not same as Mikado Core plugin included with Büro theme so you can ignore this notice.We are sorry if there’s been any misunderstanding because “Mikado Core” is name used for core plugins inside our several different themes. It seems that Wordfence is displaying the notice wherever there is Software Slug called “mikado-core” regardless of the theme. So instead of this notice displaying only for Roam Theme, it is mistakenly shown for all theme that have “mikado-core” Software Slug.

After you update the theme all of the plugins with available updates will be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins. The update for Mikado CPT will also be available there.

Could you please let us know which account? Do you have an account at our Help Center? If you are however having issues to access your Envato Market account then please contact Envato Market support.
In case you used your purchase code to register one installation, you are required to deregister in order to use the purchase code on a different installation. When you’re done with development on your staging site you can deregister purchase code in Roam Dashboard (please see screenshot) and then use it to register the theme on a live domain.

A quick question. When editing Destination pages and when I wanna insert different images , in your theme images are marked with numbers such as 1448, 1449…but when I find these images in Media FIles I cannot explain to myself where did you come up with these numbers. So, I just wanna use images that I uploaded, but need that 4 digit number associated with images so I can make quick changes to the article/text

Have you enabled WPBakery page editor for destinations posts? By default, the WP Bakery Plugin is available for page editing only. However, you can use it to edit other post types (such as blog posts or portfolios) as well. To do so, navigate to WP Bakery Page Builder > Role Manager > Post Types, select Custom from the dropdown and mark all the checkboxes available there. Once you do this you can add images to the gallery using the WPBakery interface.

1. We release periodic updates of the theme. Thos include the bug fixes, security patches, and general improvements of our themes. When an update is released, you will be notified in order to update the theme.
2. Yes, there are options within the theme for setting up colors.
3. The theme uses PayPal for online payments of tours. If you decide to use PayPal, you need to add the Account ID of your PayPal account.
4. The theme can be used for multiple languages. You can read more about that in this article.

Unfortunately, adding new payment gateways cannot be done through theme options. Implementing this would require additional customization and modification of theme files, but this falls out of our support scope.
Alternatively, you can disable online payment through PayPal, and arrange with users directly a different payment method.

The official plugins we provided bundled inside our theme are the ones that are tested several times before the theme was launched and we guarantee their functionality. Hello! I really like the theme and I do have a lisence but it’s in a different profile. I was wondering if there’s a way to add an extra filter for my tours. Right now I use some generic filters such as ‘Europe”, “North America”, etc, but I would also like to have a specific filter, let’s say in the “Europe” category that will list all the european countries. After more thorough checking I find that the theme update has some bugs that prevent installation. Wordpress stops working both when I run the updated theme or when I activate the mikado-core or micado-tours plugins.

Please follow the update instructions from the tutorial linked in previous comment. Once you update the theme, you should navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins and update Mikado CPT plugin first, then Mikado Tours and Mikado Membership.

The way I updated the theme via FTP is 100% consistent with the instructions you described. After the update, the entire WordPress crashes, there is no way to even log in to the site and everything has to be restored from a backup. I only got this message:
“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”
The theme files are simply corrupted and cannot be installed. Please fix this.
We have tested FTP update on our installation and we couldn’t reproduce this behavior. Both theme and plugins are updated without errors.
You can restore your backup and try to update via Envato Market plugin method.

Today I received an email saying that an update to the ROAM theme is available for download. Unfortunately, there is no automatic update option, only via FTP, I think. After copying the theme files to the server, the site stopped working, there is no way to even log in to the WordPress panel. I restored the site from a backup, but I still don’t know how to install the theme update.

The current version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and PHP 8.0.
