Hello, The registered theme cannot update the WP Bakery Page Builder plugin. How do I update this plugin?
The WPBakery team disabled the auto-update feature for users without a direct plugin license. This means that automatic updates are only available to customers who purchased the plugin separately and have an active yearly support plan.
Since the plugin is bundled with this theme, you’ll need to update it manually. Here’s how:
Log in to your ThemeForest account and download the latest version of the theme.
Unzip the theme package and navigate to the “plugins” folder.
Inside, you’ll find the js_composer.zip file; this is the WPBakery Page Builder plugin.
Now go to your WordPress admin area → Plugins, deactivate and delete the current WPBakery Page Builder plugin.
Upload and install the new js_composer.zip file you extracted earlier.
This will install the updated version of the plugin included with the latest theme release. Let us know if you need any help along the way.

Hi, how can I change search and cart icon xolors on the header menu? I can’t seem to find it

The cart and search icon colors are inherited from the main menu text colors so the header keeps a unified design. Because of this, there are no options in the Theme Options panel to change the cart or search icon colors separately.
If you would like to set different colors for these icons, this can be done using custom CSS. I can help you with the required CSS code, but I first need to know if the header you are using includes a top bar or not.

Ok.. Can you add icon color changer in the next update or later? It would be a great addition..
At the moment, we don’t plan to add a separate color option for the header icons, as they inherit the main menu text color for consistent header styling. If needed, this can still be adjusted with a small custom snippet. Thank you.

I have a quick question before buying your template.
I’m very interested in the restaurant version. The homepage looks great and my client loves it. However, when we open the inner pages, they all show a digital agency demo style, not a restaurant style.
Because of this, my client finds it hard to project himself. He loves the restaurant homepage, but he can’t see how the inner pages would look for his future restaurant.
Is there a way to preview the restaurant-style inner pages? Or does this mean the inner pages need to be fully rebuilt and redesigned to match the restaurant style?

Hello, and thanks for writing in! To answer your question, our theme uses a universal set of inner pages for all demos. You won’t need to rebuild them from scratch, but you will need to make small adjustments (like swapping images and text) to match the restaurant theme.
If the default layout doesn’t fit your needs, you can easily build custom pages using our Template Blocks Library.

When will the next theme update take place as the current version of WPBakery is reporting a vulnerability?

As you can see in our changelog, we updated the theme on October 13, and WPBakery released their plugin update a day later.The latest version of WPBakery included in the theme package is therefore 8.6.1.
We’ll include the newest WPBakery version in our next theme update, but first, we need to test it in our dev environment. Updating too quickly can cause issues, so we always ensure both RevSlider and WPBakery are stable and fully compatible with our theme and standard server setups.
There’s no need to update WPBakery immediately as most version changes are minor, and stability is our main priority.

If you’re trying to set up your social media links in the Theme Options panel, please make sure to include https:// in front of the link. For example, use https://www.linkedin.com instead of www.linkedin.com.

Great theme, but after I had to start the website from scratch, i can’t activate it no more – the API for envato market apparently works – the API you have for activation gives this message: Error connecting to Envato API. Please try again later. can you help? (i have no WAF on the website)

Hi! Yes, the theme has been tested with the latest PHP versions, including 8.2 and 8.3 – you can safely upgrade your server to PHP 8.3.
Just make sure the following components are updated to ensure full compatibility:
- Theme version: v5.1
- KeyDesign Addon: v6.3
- WPBakery Page Builder: v8.5

Does your theme not work with the latest WP Bakery Plugin version? Updated theme from 4.5 to 4.6 and Page builder to to 7.9 – now both the frontend and the backend are completely messed up.

I already did. It’s 100% an issue. Because I only updated the theme and the page builder, nothing works anymore frontend/backend. I’ll try to downgrad the WP Bakery plugin and hope it runs again so that I don’t have to restore the whole site.
