I’ve been working extensively with the Motors theme, and I think it’s important to share an honest perspective for anyone considering it.
This theme is clearly built for a traditional single dealership website, not a full car marketplace. If your goal is to run a multi-vendor platform where different sellers list and manage their vehicles, you’re going to struggle.
The first major limitation is the user dashboard. The sidebar is very basic and not designed for marketplace-level functionality. There’s no proper system for tracking key interactions like phone clicks, email enquiries, or WhatsApp leads. For a marketplace, this kind of tracking is essential — both for sellers to measure performance and for the platform to provide value. You’ll end up having to build all of that yourself.
Another big issue is the “Make Featured” flow. It’s not well structured for real-world marketplace use. The logic is inconsistent, the user experience is confusing, and integrating it properly with payments requires a lot of custom work. Something that should be simple — like paying to promote a listing — becomes unnecessarily complicated.
Even upgrading to the PRO version doesn’t fully solve these problems. It adds features, but it still doesn’t turn the theme into a proper marketplace solution. You’ll still need significant custom development to get it to a professional standard.
That said, for a basic car dealership website, it does the job. You can display inventory, handle enquiries, and get a clean-looking site up and running. It’s not perfect, but it’s usable in that context.
Just don’t expect it to function as a ready-made car marketplace — it’s not built for that.

The Motors theme actually includes several different demo types designed for specific use cases within the automotive industry, such as Dealership, Classified, Rental, and others. The Dealership demo is primarily built for single dealers. It’s intended to showcase inventory, manage enquiries, and present vehicles in a clean and structured way, rather than support a full multi-vendor marketplace.
For marketplace functionality, Motors also offers Classified demo layouts. These are specifically designed to turn your website into a listings marketplace where both individual users and dealers can register, submit their own listings, and manage them independently. In this setup, users have access to a dashboard where they can manage their listings, and there is also basic statistics available, such as views and phone clicks.
At the moment, you’re absolutely right that tracking for email enquiries or WhatsApp clicks is not yet available. Regarding the “Make Featured” functionality, could you please clarify your specific use case? As it currently works, the flow is handled via WooCommerce checkout. In this case, you would actually need a classifieds system.
The EV Dealership demo is designed for a single dealer to manage their own listings. A multi-vendor “submit listing” feature means multiple users can add and manage their own vehicles, which turns the platform into a marketplace.
That requires a completely different structure and functionality, so it’s not something that fits the current demo.

We don’t have a migration path for that right now. Because the WPBakery and Elementor demos are built with completely different structures, settings.
The only way to transition your site from one page builder to the other is to rebuild it from scratch using the Elementor demo as your foundation. It’s not the easiest news, but it’s the only way to ensure all the features and styles function correctly under the new builder.

No third-party plugin can ad Adsense ad codes on a single listing especially when using Motors Pro plugin. If you’re using our Classified demo, the way the system is currently structured is that each listing is published by a specific user or dealer. This means every vehicle belongs to one owner who manages their own inventory and receives inquiries for their specific cars.

There are multiple errors in your site console log that relates to the SSL settings. Please note, the SSL settings don’t relate to the theme options in general. You will need to set proper SSL settings and it should solve the issue on your site. Omg, now I keep encountering another issue whenever I have edited product, when I try to save an edit I get this message:
“Request Header Fields Too Large The server refused this request because the request header fields are too large.”
Almost everytime I edit now, then I have to open new tab and start all over…
The theme is so good and great to use as rental site, but it has too many bugs or errors… Really sad…

It would also be a huge help if you could try editing a product in an incognito window or a different browser. If it works there, then it’s likely just some built-up cache or cookies in your main browser that are making the “header” too big and need to be cleared.
