Hello, I haven’t received any response yet.

When I update PHP to version 8.5.4, the homepage of the Riode theme breaks. I am currently using theme version 1.6.28.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

You can always check the latest updates and compatibility notes in the official changelog here: https://themeforest.net/item/riode-multipurpose-woocommerce-theme/30616619#item-description__changelog Regarding PHP 8.5.4: The latest confirmed PHP compatibility in the theme is up to PHP 8.4 (as of version 1.6.27 – Dec 17th, 2025). At this stage, PHP 8.5 has not been officially tested or declared compatible yet. For reference, we are currently using PHP 8.2 on our testing environment, which is the stable version used for development and verification. So if your homepage is breaking on PHP 8.5.4, this is expected behavior due to lack of official compatibility testing with that PHP version. We recommend using PHP 8.2 or 8.3 for now to ensure full stability until an official update is released. Please let us know if you need any further clarification.

Hello, when I update PHP, the Riode theme becomes broken (PHP 8+). I currently have version 1.6.25 and I want to update to 1.6.26. Is this version compatible with the latest PHP versions, such as 8.3 or 8.4 that I wanted to updated as well?

Your theme (Riode Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files.

We are sorry for the inconveniance but we have tested this on our test site and found our that this outdated template copies issue exist there too. This has happened because of the recent major update release by the WooCommerce. We thank you for notifying this to us and apologize for the inconveniance at this point of time and are forwarding this to the development department for further look into this and they will soon release a theme update to rectify that. Hello, please, how would I disable the image gallery for products related to your theme? When using the paid plugin I have for it, it creates duplication, but this doesn’t happen with another theme. I see that it’s because there are customizations that Riode has added there, so to speak. I would like that to be unlinked so that only the one from the image gallery plugin I have (WooThumbs) is visible. Thanks.

Hi, how can we setup ‘Shop by Brand’?

To set up product brands in your store, follow these steps:

Add Product Brands: Go to WP-Dashboard >> WooCommerce >> Brands >> Add New Brand. Here, you can assign images to each brand.

Assign Brands to Products: When adding a product, assign the corresponding brand in the same way you would add product categories.

Once you’ve completed these steps, your store will be recognized as a brand-based store. You can also include a brand widget in the store sidebar to enhance visibility.

Hi and thank you for the reply. Is there a brand widget that comes with this theme? If not, can you recomend one. I’d like to setup a page called ‘Shop by Brand’, someone clicks on a brand and products show based on the brand, is this possible?

Yes, you can do so. Navigate to Products > Brands in your WordPress dashboard. Add your brands and assign them to products. Add a new page and edit it with the Elementor. Use the “Filter” widget in the Elementor and select to display brands on a page.
