Hello!

The `tv_shows` categories include Drama, Romance, Mystery, History, Fantasy, etc.

There are 300 shows in total under `tv_shows`. When I click “Drama” in the web menu, the Drama category displays 60 shows spread across 3 pages (20 shows per page).

However, when I navigate to the second page, all 300 shows from `tv_shows` appear instead, spanning a total of 15 pages.

If I refresh the page at that point, it returns to the correct second page of the Drama category.

Thanks for the details! This isn’t related to the pagination fix — it’s a separate issue in how the player detected the video type.

When an episode used an MP4 URL link, the plugin was downloading the entire remote file into the server’s memory to check its format. Small files fit fine, but files over ~500 MB exceeded the PHP memory limit and triggered the critical error. We’ve fixed this so it now reads only the first few bytes of the link instead of the whole file. Large MP4 URL links will now publish normally. Please deactivate the JWS StreamVid plugin, Then delete and install again with version 8.6.1. Please test again and let us know if it works.

Go to Plugins in your WordPress Dashboard. Deactivate the JWS StreamVid plugin, then delete it. Reinstall and activate the plugin .

After reinstalling, your Bunny.net media with signed URLs should work normally again.

Yes, StreamVid fully supports m3u8 (HLS) streaming out-of-the-box.

You can use m3u8 in several ways:

1) Direct m3u8 URL — Set Videos Type = URL and paste your .m3u8 link. The player auto-detects HLS via application/x-mpegURL and streams it natively.

2) Adaptive multi-quality — Use “Many Quality” video type to add multiple m3u8 sources per movie/episode (360p, 720p, 1080p, etc.).

3) Bunny.net / Cloudflare Stream integration — Built-in support. Just enter your Bunny host name or Cloudflare host name in Theme Options → Video Settings, and the player generates m3u8 playlist URLs automatically from the video ID.

Live streaming via m3u8 is also supported for live broadcast setups.

1) Dynamic iframe embedding — YES. Every Movie and Episode has a “Videos URL” field (set Videos Type = URL) where you can paste any iframe HTML directly. Our player auto-detects iframe tags and renders them as embeds. The field instructions confirm this: “For video url field you can use mp4 or youtube url, iframe html and can use shortcode of other plugins.”

2) IMDB ID storage — YES (videos_imdb_id post meta on Movies and TV Shows).

❌ Not built-in:

1) Automatic player URL generation from TMDB / AniList IDs. StreamVid does not store tmdb_id as dedicated post meta, and there is no helper that auto-builds URLs like https://player.videasy.net/movie/{tmdb_id}. By default, the iframe HTML is pasted manually per item.

2) AniList / anime integration — not available. Our TMDB Import plugin only pulls from TheMovieDB.

How to use Videasy today (works immediately, no code):

The theme is so crude that it constantly crashes on simple things. In posts, it automatically links to a single page, and Google doesn’t index it properly. Support only responds every few days. It’s a real pain.

1.    Go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Discussion
2.    Make sure “Allow people to submit comments on new posts” is checked
3.    Uncheck “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”
4.    Save Changes

That’s it — visitors will be able to comment as guests using just their name and email.

Optional: If you also want to skip email verification, uncheck “Comment author must fill out name and email” under the same page.

If comments are not showing on a specific post or page, also check:

•    Go to the post/page editor > Discussion panel (in the sidebar or below the editor)
•    Make sure “Allow comments” is checked for that individual post

Question 1 — Using a plain URL instead of full iframe

The Sources field does not support plain embed URLs directly for third-party hosts. You need to wrap the URL in an iframe. Use this minimal version:

Just replace the src=”” with your URL each time. That’s the shortest form that will work reliably.

Question 2 — Sources: Maximum rows reached (5 rows)

The 5-row limit is hardcoded in the theme’s metabox/repeater field definition. It is not adjustable from the WordPress admin.

To increase it, a code change is needed in the StreamVid core plugin. Please open a support ticket at https://jwsthemes.ticksy.com and include:

•    How many source rows you need (e.g., 10, 20, unlimited)
•    Whether this is for Movies, TV Shows, or Episodes

Thanks for reaching out. The episode download option was added in StreamVid v7.0.7, but it requires updating both the theme and the bundled plugins to take effect.

Please make sure all three are updated to the latest versions:

StreamVid theme – v7.0.7 Jws Streamvid plugin – latest (located in the plugins folder of the download package) Jws Tmdb Import plugin – latest

Once the Jws Streamvid plugin is updated, a new Download field will appear inside the episode editor. If only the theme is updated without the plugin, the field will not show up.

I just upgraded the theme to 7.0.4 via the Envato Plugin. But I can not see “YouTube Impoter” in “Jws Settings”.

I tried the below as instructed but there is not such thing as Video Setting in theme option.

You have already done Option 2 correctly by filling in “Source 1” in the Player field. The button still shows “Link 1” because one additional setting needs to be enabled in Theme Options.

3. Find the toggle “Enable Sources Name With Field Player” and turn it ON

It has Log in page but It hasn’t Sign up page, why?

The Sign Up form is built into the theme — it uses the same Login/Register widget. The reason it is not showing is because the “Anyone can register” option in WordPress is disabled on your site.

To enable it, follow these steps: 1. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General 2. Find the Membership section 3. Check the box: Anyone can register 4. Click Save Changes Once enabled, the Sign Up tab will automatically appear alongside the Login form.

Additionally, you can control the visibility of both tabs independently in Elementor by editing the Login/Register widget and toggling the Show Login and Show Register options under the widget settings.

How the button label works: The label shown on each source button (Link 1, Link 2, Link 3…) is determined by this logic: • If “Use Player Name as Source Label” is enabled in Theme Options AND the source has a Player field filled in — it uses the Player field value as the button name. • If that option is disabled or the Player field is empty — it falls back to a prefix word (default: “Link”) + the index number (1, 2, 3…).

iFrame embed
Shortcode (third-party players)

MPEG-DASH (.mpd) streams with DRM encryption are not natively supported. The player does not include a DASH parser or DRM key system (Widevine/ClearKey), so this stream type cannot be played through the theme’s default player out of the box.

If you need DASH + DRM support, it would require custom development to integrate a compatible player (such as Shaka Player or dash.js) with the appropriate DRM configuration.
