Hi ThemeNectar Team,
First of all, I just wanted to say that Salient is honestly one of the most impressive WordPress themes I’ve ever used. The level of polish, animation quality, and overall presentation is on another level compared to most themes out there. The homepage showcase especially looks absolutely incredible.
I had a quick question regarding the main preview/showcase homepage used on the Salient ThemeForest page. I understand that this exact layout is not included in the standard demo importer, but I was wondering if there is any chance an import/template/export JSON exists for that page or for some of its sections.
I believe your team kindly helped me with something similar in the past, so I thought I’d ask again.
Thank you again for the amazing work and support. Truly one of the best premium themes available.
Best regards,
Hi, Who can i contact with my purchase code to find out which website i built with salient years ago?
there are some smaller issues with wp 7.0… Will you fix it?
Hey flipster, We’re aware of some minor admin styling issues that can be improved for WP 7.0, specifically regarding admin input and button sizing. However, we’re not aware of any issues regarding the editor or page rendering. If you’ve found issues narrowed down to 7.0, please share them with us.
Kind regards
Hello, does Salient support WordPress 7.0 yet?
Hey ganzrund,
Yes, it’s safe to upgrade to WP 7.0, but we’ll be releasing an update soon with minor admin cosmetic improvements related to 7.0 in the WP Admin area.

Hi, may I ask about possible SEO and accessability problems? When I use plain text or titles there are no problems, but when I use both 1. Animated Text: Scroll Position (opacity) or 2. Animated Text: Single Letter From Bottom (Reveal) the text in the html code is splitted in single caracters or single words. I’ve noticed that also the screenreaders and browser translations have problems to understand. I love these effects very much, but I need also that the website could be found and understood. How to resolve this now or in a next update?
Hey waldemarker,
There’s no SEO impact from using those effects. The heading is server-rendered as clean text e.g.
<h1>Your Title</h1>text splitting only happens after JavaScript loads. Crawlers see the intact heading, and the rendered DOM’s textContent still reads correctly, with word spaces preserved. Google ignores ARIA for indexing.
As for screen readers, we’re going to correct this in the next update. We’ll ensure that all headings now get an aria-label with the full text.
Browser translation is a real limitation of any letter splitting animation. Translators work on text nodes and can’t handle a sentence shattered across spans so ARIA can’t help. If translation matters for a given heading, use a plain heading there and reserve split animations for decorative text.

Hi there, I remember seeing mention of support for pagebuilder in an upcoming version; is that the iteration in the current version, or is there a new platform being worked on? Thanks!
Hey ND81!
Which page builder are you referring to? Salient has always been exclusively focused on our tailored version of WPBakery. However, we also released a Gutenberg-focused builder called Nectarblocks a couple of years ago, which you can find in our product listings: https://themenectar.com/#products
Kind regards
Sorry – my question was really poorly put; completely missed the key detail – it was regarding WPBakery builder being implemented in the menu, increasing options for dropdowns etc.
Thanks again
Hey ND81, no worries! Yes, that’s still an item on the wishlist, but it’s not an item available in the current release.

Hi, I’ve found an accessibility issue in Salient v18.0 that affects the Portfolio Item single template (single-portfolio.php). The problem When running accessibility validators (axe-core, Lighthouse, WAVE), they report the following violation on Portfolio Item pages:
“All page content should be contained by landmarks”
After inspecting the rendered HTML, I confirmed that the element — which contains the entire page content between <header> and <footer> — does not receive a role=”main” attribute (nor is it wrapped in a <main> element). As a result, all the page’s main content sits outside of any ARIA landmark.
Why this is clearly a bug The theme itself outputs a skip link at the top of the page that points to this exact element: htmlSkip to main content So the skip link is treating #ajax-content-wrap as the main landmark, but the element itself has no landmark role. The skip link sends screen reader users to a generic instead of a main landmark.
Hey dreiblau,
Thanks for mentioning this. I’ve noted to correct it in the upcoming minor release.

I bought this theme long time ago and support expired. I will change the domain of the site to which the licence is registered to. How do I request the author for the domain change for registered licence?
I tried opening the ticket, but, as I said, support expired long time ago.
P.S. To be honest, I don’t even remember if the domain is tied to the licence.
Hey SlavicaAdvokatica,
You don’t need to request a domain change. Envato licenses are based on one single End Product / single application, not permanently locked to a specific URL. You need one license for each separate live site using the theme. If the old site is no longer being used, you can use that license for a different site.
Kind regards
Thamks!
Different question: If the support expiired, how can I report bugs? I’m not saying that there are any, but how can I report them, other than here, where it is in public?
You’re welcome, SlavicaAdvokatica
You can reach out via the contact form on our ThemeNectar page here when you want to message us privately.

Hey! Phil! What’s up?
I was wondering why the image displayed in mobile mode is the default image from the imported demo, unlike in desktop mode which displays the image I placed. I looked in the WPBakery section on the homepage but I can’t find the problem!
See this live page there : jaimemaboutique.ca And see what i see on mobile : https://snipboard.io/XK5rYe.jpg And what i see with my desktop : https://snipboard.io/9nCquo.jpg
thanks !
Hey barreoblique!
When editing that section, be sure to replace the background image set on the mobile device as well – that template includes a mobile variant of the image: https://ibb.co/G3b27kSK

Jesus… i missed that one, sorry ! But thanks! How are u ?
Glad I could help!
I’ve been good. Hope things have been good with you as well!
Здравствуйте! Подскажите пожалуйста, как я могу вывести отдельные товары магазина по id. В другой теме, есть много категорий woocommerce именно “товар” и можно указать id необходимых товаров. В saliet я могу добавить только категорию или категории.Спасибо
Hey DonVlado,
There is no way to query a specific product by ID in Salient using built-in elements. However, you can use the Gutenberg block called “Product” to display a single product if desired.
Kind regards
Спасибо! Еще вопрос, 404 страницу редактировать можно только в Внешний вид-Редактор тем и в меню Salient – Wordpress page? Если я хочу добавить несколько кнопок дополнительно, как вариант?
Hey DonVlado,
You can create a custom 404 using the page builder by utilizing the Global Sections post type https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-builder-global-sections/

I have never asked for help with anything. I have one question I hope you could help me out with without me having to pay for support. Please. I really hope to purchase more of your licenses in the future for more of my clients, but for now I just need help with this one license. I’m sure you can see how many licenses I buy.
Anyways, on the Portfolio Layered theme, the very first image that is shown (of the guy with the dark background) while in mobile mode, it shifts when you go to scroll down. I tried different images too and it wasn’t the image.
So in Mobile mode, whenever I refresh the page, the mobile background animation enabled or disabled, and scroll down, that image shifts on mobile devices and it only happens with the one main image in the theme.
Because this is a theme glitch that is even on your demos, I was hoping that you could create a patch for it or at least tell me what I can do to fix it. It. Whether it’s a couple lines of code to add to the config or adding to the additional CSS area.
Please help me.
If you’d like to see what I’m talking about in action, here is a link to a Google Drive video:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1q8P8xVp94-A2DfK6CjKL-gJwzXvkWbZg/view?usp=drivesdkHey chronicbuilt,
You can make that change by adding the following CSS snippet to the CSS box in the Salient options panel: General Settings → CSS/Script Related tab:
@media only screen and (max-width: 999px) {
.wpb_row.vc_row-o-full-height.top-level,
.wpb_row.vc_row-o-full-height.top-level > .col.span_12 {
min-height: 100svh !important;
}
}
Kind regards
Thanks, it works but it’s showing some weird errors:
Hey chronicbuilt,
You can safely ignore those warnings. They’re coming from the CSS editor’s built-in checker, not from the actual site. The CSS itself is valid. The editor just doesn’t fully recognize newer CSS values like svh or that selector format.

Hi. I want to use the Featured Image as my Single Image source but I don’t see the Image Source option. Is that feature not part of the Salient WPBakery Page Builder?
Hey Speqtrum,
We don’t provide an option to select that in the Image element as of now, but it’s an item on the wishlist.
Kind regards

What I am interested is the following:
1. Creating a header similar to this (boxed) keeping the same hight and width. I already have categories. - https://ibb.co/nsVnkL18
2. How do I create variable? I have different bottle sizes.
3. As far as I understand, these product descriptions were made using rows with columns in the product long description section.
Thank you
Hey atlantchiropractic,
1. In the Salient options > WooCommerce > Archive Header tab, you can set the Product Category Header Sizing and Product Category Description.
2. The Size attribute was added under Products > Attributes and then added to Product Data > Attributes: https://ibb.co/CsndSjY6
3. You can enable the page builder in WPBakery Page Builder settings > Role Manager via the Post Types field.
Kind regards
Thank you so much!
You’re welcome, atlantchiropractic
Hi there.
How can I:
1- Add a ’Continue Shopping’ button to cart?
2- Make the phone number field mandatory during WooCommerce registration?
I’ve tried adding code and some plugins, but it hasn’t worked.
I think I’ve searched the comments thoroughly, but I don’t see anything. If that’s the case, I apologize.
Regards.
Hey sebecrepo,
1. You can either use a plugin like WooCommerce Continue Shopping Button, or add one yourself by editing the Cart page and placing a Button block wherever you’d like, if you’re using the block-based cart layout.
2. You can edit the Checkout page and set the phone number as required in the Billing block. Here’s a screenshot showing that: https://ibb.co/t03q10Y
Kind regards
1- Ok.
2- But using WPBakery Page Builder.
Thanks
Regards.
Hey sebecrepo, the newer block-based cart/checkout is recommended now that it’s been the standard for a while and offers greater flexibility for editing things like this.

Interesting. Thank you.
Hey Salient Team,
I noticed an issue when using the Content Trail with images. If I include a link that has an underline animation, the underline hover effect no longer works the way it normally does outside of the Content Trail.
Is there a specific element or setup I should be using for underline links within the Content Trail to make the animation work properly?
Thanks!
Hey AkeatsKes!
Are you referring to links which exist behind the Content Trail element? Can you kindly share your URL so that I can take a closer look at your setup?
Thanks in advance
Hello,
A few questions:
I’m following the tutorial Salient Menu Options documentation - for the “No Heading Title” option. It works on desktop, but the column title still appears on the mobile version. - The highlighted links on hover cause an issue when they span two lines: only the first line gets highlighted.
Thank you for your help.
Hey arnolyon,
Can you please share the website URL where you’re not seeing the “No Heading Title” option function as expected?
Kind regards
Hello,
Can you please tell me how to activate the theme in my site with its “purchase code” to enable automatic updates?
Please, let me know.
Regards,
Hey chefnelone,
Getting updates in the admin dashboard requires the use of the Envato Market plugin. We have documentation on setting that up here: https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/

I use Post Loop Builder, but with Pages.
Basically, I want to display only a selected set of pages, and there’s no option to choose them.
“Narrow Data Source” doesn’t allow page selection.
Any idea? Thanks
Hey arnolyon,
The Narrow Data Source supports taxonomy based filtering rather than selecting individual post or page IDs. Since WordPress pages do not use categories or tags by default, they cannot be filtered through taxonomy queries unless custom taxonomies are added to the page post type. As a result, there is no built-in option in the Post Loop Builder to target only specific pages by ID.
Kind regards
Thanks
You’re welcome, arnolyon
Hello! Any chance of having LinkedIn icon in Theme social networks icon library as it is an important one and currently out of your list?
Thank you,
Natasa
Hey Natasa!
We’ll be adding that in an upcoming minor release, which will be out very soon
Kind regards
Hello Nectar, I just noticed the Post Loop Builder displays all the Categories — Although I have “Parent Categories Only” selected in the Category Display under the Meta Data tab.
Hey RollingSpoke,
To clarify, you’re referring to the categories in each post, not the categories in any filters, correct? If so, could you please share your URL and a screenshot of your query settings?
Thanks in advance
Yes the categories in each post. As can be seen in the screenshot, one post has two categories, one of them is the primary, but the second one is also displayed.
https://ibb.co/prhW7kTy | https://ibb.co/93spn9TpHey RollingSpoke, Can you verify that the category you’re expecting to be hidden is a child of the other category?
If you’re referring to the Yoast primary category, that’s an option specific to their SEO plugin and not a standard WordPress function that we use for this logic.
Hey Nectar, thanks for your replies — yes, that clarifies it.
I understand now that this may not be standard WordPress category logic. I will remove one of the categories in the Post Loop Builder.
Glad that I could help
