I just bough this theme and my first question is can you add or send me some demo content export?
Also as a footnote, the wordpress theme installation fails, general wordpress error or something like that. I’m uploading via ftp now, I’ll let you know if I have issues.
I’ve reset wordpress before attempting to install the theme so I don’t know if something is wrong at my end, but I’ll find out soon enough.

Hm installation works fine for me. Might probably be a server with not enough upload limit. the zip file holds quite a few images from the demo slider, which will install automatically once you activate the theme.

Please let me know how I can do that.

In that case, at least for the moment you would need to directly edit the footer.php file. Will think about a better solution once the theme updates for our other themes are done but for now that probably the best approach
ok, I tried to get my head around it but I guess that’s why I’m not a developer I need help. Can you post an example here of what to type in the footer.php? I need it to say© Copyright “clientname” 2013 – Powered by “mycompanyname”

The default header on the demo is “Fixed + Shrinking”. I would like to have ””Fixed + Shrinking” + the top bar that contains “social media + menu (help blog features, etc.) Thanks.

Hey! Once the theme is woocommerce ready I think that would be possible yes. there is a wpml version of woocommerce out there that I think supports this kind of functionallity. You could then use the theme and install wpml as well as the wpml-woocommerce version

Hey! I would rather ask this questions at the woocommerce or wpml forum, since its really nothing theme related. You should be able to pull that off with every theme that supports woocommerce and wpml

Hi Kriesi, CRAZY theme Just rated it 5 Stars!! It´s a lot fun working with it, super flexible and great functionalities! A few minor glitches I noticed (not sure if these are glitches or faults from my side):
1) If horizontal ruler (short) is added to a colored section, only a white dot is visible, not the whole ruler.
2) It is not possible to change font colors. In the backend it works fine in the live editor, in frontend the color remains black after refreshing.
Please double check it and let me know what I`m doing wrong.

Hi Kriesi. I know these items are completed yet, but with the (1) ajax portfolio, can there be a way to select either quick view or detailed view from the portfolio image? Some users may want to go directly to the detail view; perhaps this can be set as an option. (2) Can the new template wide width be adjustable and not fixed to a certain size? (3) In the portfolio item page, can the captions (Client, Skills, etc.) be modified and also added to? My site is based on case studies with different captions. (4) Regarding the portfolio and blog shortcodes, it seems that arrows (to show the next image item) is placed on top of the image. This seems difficult to see without hovering. Can the arrows be placed outside or in a more obvious area? Thanks as always.
1.) will think about it. not sure yet
2.) probably not. the theme is not really made to be fluid
3.) those things are added with a template builder element. The single portfolio pages are just like pages just built with the template builder and can look as you want them to look
4.) will think about a different skin but at this point this has very low priority. there are more urgent requests and this is a simple css change that users can do alone if they really need it
Thanks Kriesi. By the way, the parallax effect on the “meet the team” page, is this a short code that can be applied to any page? Also, my vote for “back to top” function. Users will appreciate that. Regarding width, as long is there are some options, that would be great. I find the 1200px to be way to wide, but something close to 1100px would work.
Ah, if you consider that a parallax effect (which is actually true, didnt think of that): yes, this is the section shortcode which creates an area with custom background were you can put elements. you can then set the background attachment to “fixed” and it will create this parallay effect.

Currently not easily possible. you are of course able to add menu links to the same site with a # tag but the different elements of the layout builder usually have no ID that you would be able to scroll to :/
This would need customization. Maybe I will add numeric IDs for sections with the next update

Yes the theme also works with self hosted videos, but currently only on single entries. (Single Page, Single Portfolio, Single Blog Post)

I am planning to heavily improve the portfolio, yes. but not sure yet if self hosted videos will find their ways into the overview page. We will definitley offer an ajax portfolio like choices where you click an item and a preview opens. Hi Kriesi, I’m following your work and must say this is AWESOME theme! Before I purchase I have few questions:
1. In section “What others say about us”, if I have more then 4 testimonials, is it possible to make to rotate those testimonials? To show 4, and then with fade, or some other transition effect, next 4 testimonials? Also, is it possible to add ‘Read more’ (excerpt) link in every testimonial and to go to page with full Testimonial?
2. Does theme support ‘Parallax’ effect with multiple backgrounds?
3. Some ‘jump to top’ on the lower right side will be nice to have.
4. Is it possible to add Contact form from Home style 2 to Home style 1?
5. Do you support some customization of your theme? Have some ideas for header section.

1.) Thats not possible sorry. what you could do is to create 4 testimonail sliders (visible at the bottom of this page: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/testimonials/ ) and put them into columns. Would look similar and not require any template changes
2.) The layerslider does support effects like that, every other part of the theme only supports static background images
3.) Has been requested a few times now so I will add it, but its a low priority issue. Will probably take a little while
4.) You can add and remove any number of elements to any page, the template builder is very flexible
5.) No. However if you have ideas that might be interesting for many people I might just add it to the theme. Otherwise I can recommend the themeforest forums as a goo place to get a developer

This testimonial sliders can do the work for me. I know how to add ‘jump to top’, that was just a hint to consider I’m front-end designer but I can customize WP themes too
So just mean on support for your back-end code, to ask where I can find ‘this and that’, I didn’t express my self on right way in my last question Right place to ask question will be at your support forum.
I like that layout is flexible to add/remove elements, so because of tons of great features I will purchase this theme!

In your backend open up the page Enfold->Header and select the header of your choice
hello Is it possible to crop the image thumb as you like in the postformat gallery with multiple images, and can you add many images in one action? thanx a lot
In general the image sizes are pre-defined. you can choose a size when adding the shortcode with our shortcode editor but the size is applied to all images then. You can add any number of images to a gallery, adding images works with the default wordpress image gallery manager which means you can insert multiple images at once, yes.

Hm, currently the easiest way to remove it is either to edit the footer.php template file directly or if you are using a child theme or rather want to use a filter anywhere else (functions.php for example) you can remove it by adding this line of code anywere: add_filter(‘kriesi_backlink’,’__return_false’);
Okay, thanks. Maybe something to add in the next update. In most themes it is easily editable in the theme options section. I don’t want to remove it but just change it to say something like ‘website made by…’

When I load the demo theme ( http://www.kriesi.at/themes/enfold/ ) with Safari or Mercury Browser on iOS (all latest versions) and then rotate the device to landscape orientation, the browser crashes. Have not tested with other browsers.
This is a big problem. Has anyone else tested this?

Interesting. Which iOS version and device? Doesnt happen on my iPhone or iPad…
I’m testing with an ipod touch 4th gen, iOS 6.1.3 (Build: 10B329). These browsers crash on rotate: Safari, Chrome and Mercury. Puffin and Opera Mini do not crash on rotate. However, Opera Mini seems to have other display issues including missing icons and the page needs refreshing after rotate to fill full width.

Oustanding work, can’t expect to see it with woocommerce! Fall in love with this theme Definitely the answer to Avada.
Question: Do you consider that woocommerce can be on the homepage? Is it possible to have the url taxonomy www.domainname/product/specific_product? Then it would be possible to migrate from another theme with woocommerce. With the taxonomy www.domainame/shop/...... it would break the existing URL path and give up SEO juice in Google.
Since the url structure is defined in woocommerce + wordpress and not by the theme the url structure shouldnt change if you switch. I see no problems in that regard
Also if the nav menu is under the logo above the slider can I get it to follow you down the page??
Currently not possible. I didnt consider that option because the menu would still be quiite big and use up to much screen real estate on laptops and other smaller miniitors
eh not really, but I like the way your thinking! Do the same as you did with the original, just carry the menu not the whole big header, just the menu.
Well its possible to just do that but it would require lots of css changes. Will maybe add it as a far future request when nothing else needs to be done, but for now it unfortunately has no priority:
