Loving the theme, though I am having one small issues. It may just be me missing something obvious, but whenever I try to add a YouTube or Vimeo video to the PrettyPhoto bits, it gets all squashed at the top.

Thanks for your reply. I tried adding height and width, but it doesn’t seem to have helped. My code at the moment is:

I tried it in Safari where it works fine, however I am still getting the problem in Chrome, Opera and Firefox (all Mac, on two different computers).

Hi Will, sorry but I haven’t managed to find a solution yet. Why don’t you use the video gallery provided then people can choose whether to enlarge it or not?

In theme.css change:
iframe { border:0; width:100%; height:100%; } to
iframe { border:0; }

Hi, it’s the same plugin that’s working the YouTube stream, I can see what you mean, for Pinterest it seems to now be timing out. I will have to see if I can find a solution….

Good! It worked a few times at the beginning but now it constantly fails.
I think it’s something to do with caching. I’m using it on my latest template with a YouTube stream and that’s fine. Still waiting for a reply on Github.

If you’re adding it to a CMS then it’s probably best to use a plugin.

We love the theme and we would like to buy it. But we are running a Wordpress blog… Can you tell us when the Wordpress version will be available? We read that you are working on it.

Thanks I guess I’ll just use that one then. One other question – I’ve noticed the Progress Bar doesn’t have an “active” state, I need to stripes animation moving for the bar but it doesn’t seem to be working.
I’m using:

This theme doesn’t have the active state as I have styled them to fit the theme., so you would have to remove the theme’s styling for the bars.
Just spotted an error (I think) after looking at your demo pages. I think there’s possibly a couple of faults with the “Tooltip on left”. The tooltip appears part-way across the word so it struggles to display it correctly because when you first hover over it it then loses focus again. Also, the border for the arrow is black because it needs to be
.tooltip.left .tooltip-arrow { border-left-color: #34495e; } rather than .tooltip.left .tooltip-arrow { border-right-color: #34495e; }

Really great theme! I love it! The only thing keeping me from purchasing it is that the mobile menu is a drop down instead of collapsing menu :/
Which in turn looks and behaves perfectly fine on smaller devices….
One of the most important things for a mobile website is to show as much as content at the top as possible. A menu button next to the logo saves you a row of space.
On top of that it is easier and nicer to use in my opinion than the selection popup that comes up on iOS devices.
A website shouldn’t just “behave perfectly fine”, but be the “best user experience possible”. Of course it is arguable, which one is the best user experience, but if your potential customers request a feature, you should listen to that and consider to make it optional instead of giving dismissive comments!
I didn’t think that it was a dismissive answer, neither did i think that it was a request for a feature. Just a comment about a reason for not purchasing.

Any idea why the words (even on the demo site) look so pixelated on Windows XP?

You can send it to: info[at]spiralpixel.com although I don’t think that there is anything i can do about it. The theme has optimized legibility in its css already. I’m just wondering.. have you performed a Google search to see why this may be the case for you? I’m more of a Mac person really so I can’t really give you an answer. Sorry of not to be more of a help to you.

I’m having problems having unordered list bullets to show though.
Seems that unordered lists do not have any visible bullets?
Examples of lists can be seen on the ‘About’ page, you can add any icon you wish to them.
This looks like a great template. Your demo page shows 4 different colour themes. I spotted in one of the comments that you don’t offer less or sass files. How difficult would it be for me to create my own colour theme? Did you choose the various shades of colour for each theme by eye or are they calculated like sass allows you to do?

All colours can be edited through the css.

Can colors be easily changed like background boxes, banner in header, etc.?
? I’m not sure what you mean really, but yes everything you see on the demo is in the download except for the main pics, dummy pics are in place. All colours can easily be changed through the css.

This simply creates a blank/dead link, then all links start from the drop down. If you want a link from the main menu simply remove this and add your link.

Having problems with the Contact Form. For some reason nothing is sending, even the alerts aren’t showing up. I tried it again with a fresh download where the only code changed was the email in the mail.php folder, and the same event occurs. Thanks for the help!
Hi, are you them same person i replied to via email the other day? The only other possible reason is that your server doesn’t have php5. Just to try out, have you got another email to test?
