I’ve just purchased this theme. It’s fantastic but I’m having a few problems with it so far…
The “full width of page slider” gallery type does not display the navigation as shown in the demo, nor does it use the correct logo. I’ve uploaded and set both dark and light logos in the theme options tab but it does not use the light one when using the full width of page slider.
Also in the gallery list page, the rollover cover which displays the name and catagory of the gallery does not entirely cover all of the thumbnails as it should. There is a small strip on the right hand side. I’ve also found that the responsive behaviour is a little odd. When I make the window larger, it positions the galleries in the gallery list vertically rather than horizontally. Is this something that I can change?

I read well the documentation: in the “Setting Up a Fancy Box Gallery Page” you say: “If you want to open a Youtube, Vimeo or Dailymotion video within the lightbox, specify the url in the “Video URL” custom input.”

Hi There, upon exploring your theme I have purchased i’ve found a strange issue upon creating a portfolio displaying a video I get a massive gap at the top of each portfolio. So far each portfolio item I have created has a huge gap at the top before displaying the video. example here http://www.sensan.co.uk/?portfolio=showreel-for-media-agency If you can shed any light on how I can remove this would be appreciated. That’s great thank you, with regards to this I have enabled the ‘slider’ to appear at the top of the portfolio (which I assumed that gap was meant for) but the ‘slider’ does not appear even with it selected in the portfolio ? Do I need to set a slider up on a ‘sliders’ page for this? Its not clear as I followed the documentation. Many thanks

Hi, it’s not something we test I’m afraid. WooCommerce does claim to work with any theme I believe but I could not guarantee it.

Hi Relly love the look of the theme, im stuck on the first hurdle however. I am trying to upload your XML demo data to get started quickly but for some reason my wordpress install does not want to up load it (same with the theme so I had to FTP manually) my question is Can I upload the xml file manually and execute it online without having to do an upload via the back end importer? Im very keen to get things working quickly so any advice would be welcome.

cool, can that sidebar be expanded say something that could hold a 300px wide banner size?
It may well be possible with some modification but it’s not something which is available out of the box I’m afraid.
Sorry to keep bothering you, especially if these questions have already been answered (I don’t seem to be able to search these comments or find a knowledgebase of responses).
1) iosSlider usually has an autoslide function that can automatically loop the images in the slider (autoslide: true). There isn’t a setting for it in theme options—is there another way to set it?
2) I’ve tried adding shortcodes to the portfolio page but they haven’t been successful. I have a series of portfolios about my art processes, I’ve set up a page with the portfolio template that pulls those in. The page has no title or anything and is a little bewildering. I’d like to add a title on top of the tiles that says “Cynthia’s Processes” but when I follow the instructions and insert a shortcode into the page, it doesn’t show. Is there something else I should be doing? I’ve tried this with portfolio and portfolio (fixed width) templates and it doesn’t appear to work for either.

Well…on #2: I’m trying to add a title to the top of the page I’m using to display portfolios. There’s nothing on the page right now that explains what is on the page. I would like to drop the entire grid down about a half-inch and add a title to the space above the grid. I was hoping that a shortcode or text widget would let me do this, but I don’t seem to be able to add them to the page—they are overwritten by the grid.

Portfolio fixed width doesn’t seem to work at all for me—nothing displays, but it works perfectly if I choose regular portfolio.

On the “super smooth slider” gallery, is there an option to activate/not activate the view of small thumbles down the page ? If not would it then be possible to increase their transparency ? or reduce their size ?
Just trying to figure out if there are different ways to eventually make those thumbles a little less disturbing for the eye… if possible…

OK thanks. Another question before jumping : if I only use the Gallery presentation (not a Portfolio one), it seems there isn’t any “SHARE” button (like in the portfolio section). Then, would it be possible at least possible to add the same SHARE button for the whole site (not a page or image specifically) and put it just down the menu (for example just on top of Facebook, linked in connection pictos) ? Hope my english is clear enough… Thanks for your help.
Oh and one last detail ! In the gallery-super smooth slider, there is a photo credit for one of the photos. So I guess I’ll be able to use this “place” to put a legend for each photo of the gallery, right ?
- Hi, what you’ve described isn’t possible without modification to the theme. Perhaps we will add it in the next release.
- Yes you can use captions for each photo of the gallery.

1. Where can I find the “slider settings metabox” to align the image in center of the slide. I read all explanations… sorry, but I can’t figure it out.
2. Also I don’t want specific categories, I’d like to have the same presentation as yours in the menu : a title (let’s say “Galleries”) which brings to nowhere except on a submenu when you hover on “galleries” (like yours with little dots) that could be : .2013 and then .2012 etc. The thing is is that I dont’ want a main gallery page (or Galleries list with small images). I want the visitor to be obliged to choose directly 2013 or 2012 or 2011 etc. Hope you can understand me !! Thanks !

OK, thank you ! Sorry for number 1 -> I was talking of the Super smooth slider… so there is no metabox then, and anyway each image is indeed automatically centered. So it’s perfect.
Could you just please tell me where in the CSS I could increase a little more space/margins around images ? As for very wide images, they go “under” arrows… I would prefer to have a minimum space between the arrows and the left/right sides of images. Would be great of possible… Thx again.

Sure, I understand. I found a simple solution though for this “photos under arrows” matter. In case someone is interested, or if it’s easier and quicker for you to tell anyone who would ask : For very wide images, make the image photoshop layer wider with no background… and save image as ”.gif” so that it keeps transparency. It worked out for me !

I’ve updated the theme a few times as it notifies me by simply using FTP, deleting the theme folder and re-uploading the new expanded .zip file. Hopefully this is all you need to do.
It still says version 1.0 so I’m just wondering how I know if it updated properly or if I didn’t miss a step etc.

Select Portfolio (Fixed Width) page template. Next Navigate to Appearance > Theme Options > Portfolio Settings where you can find Portfolio Title and Meta Position option.
