Awesome theme 
Hi, sorry to be a pain, but i usually create websites from scratch but my client’s needs lend to WP on this occasion so this is the first WP template i’ve played with…
Am i missing something? as when i look at the source code of the pages they have virtually the entire CSS code on the page rather than inside a neat and tidy .css file somewhere.. is this typical of wordpress themes?

What version are you using Andy? v1.6+ massively reduced the dynamic styles located at the top of the page. Also, just for your knowledge the css at the top was just the dynamic styles of theme – ones that changed based upon your preferences in the options panel. The actual static css styles were kept inside external stylesheets.

) – im still on old version, was waiting for the bugs to be ironed out of the 1.6 
.. i don’t like to see the css splashed out in the source like that, i’m making all my changes via the styles.css file anyway, WP is already making me feel disconnected from the website (much prefer building from html) still, gotta get my head round a few things… i’ll grab the update over next 24 hours and trust the dynamic css isn’t as bad or i guess i could hack the php parts that paste it in there, probably gonna be a hassle though..

1.6.1 is actually already out and took care of all the bugs that were raised. You’re safe to upgrade and you’ll see the amount of styles at the top go down by around 8 to 10 fold

For the next update how about a woocommerce integration? I bought this theme but can’t use it because it doesn’t do too well with woocommerce as is. I think this would attract more future buyers if you did it.

Hey guys! The update 1.6.1 has been submitted to ThemeForest and is now available to download. The update will fix all of the urgent, unexpected bugs that 1.6 caused users such as:- Footer display error when no page was selected to hide the Call To Action section on
- Home slider arrows having the text “left” and “right” in them
- Home slider arrows displaying incorrectly on retina laptops/desktop displays
- Options panel PHP error for new users in the exclude Call To Action section
- Recent posts heading text being too large
Also, The awaited video tutorial has now been released . It completely covers how to use the new features in v1.6 and is available in HD here

I have a small question. I noticed that you changed the footer icons to FontAwesome (I guess)?
Is there any way to make the icons graphics again? Would be pretty awesome since I modified the icons and now they look weird because they’re all mixed up. I also noticed that FontAwesome renders the icons not pixel perfect on small sizes. They become all jaggy…

You could essentially grab that section of code from the footer.php file from v1.5 and paste it over the 1.6 version to get the old setup back. (You’d also have to bring back the old icon images in the icon folder)

Do you plan by any chance to make the portfolio single pages a full width column thing and without the sidebar? Like you added it the last update?
I think it would great for a bunch of nice things to present in full width especially with the awesome fading in pictures you added in 1.6.1

Firstly, make sure to grab the latest version 1.6.1 which just came out minutes ago – 1.6 had some bugs that might spook you 
Regarding your issue, when updating you need to delete the old version of the theme on your server before uploading the new.
Why are you such a gangsta? WOW!!!!!!!!! While other authors slowly disappear and stop supporting a theme…. you keep making it the best theme on the planet!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOO AWESOME. You have a customer for life! I WILL BUY WHATEVER YOU PUT OUT if it has the quality of this theme. SO amazing!

Regarding Woocommerce, I still am completely open to adding support in a future version. In fact is just might be the hottest request at the moment now that I’ve worked in some of the other major ones. As of the themes current state, it probably won’t look great because I literally haven’t done anything to accommodate it yet. If that’s the feature your after just sit tight and hopefully it will make it into the next major release!

Hey jugo1986! If you want to change those words, just open up the files they’re found in and modify the strings.
The files those are found in are page-portfolio.php, home-template-x, and nectar/tinymce/shortcode-processing.php
Run a search for “view larger” and you’ll find where they appear in each file

You could swamp the nectar home slider for a different one – you’d just have to open the appropriate files and replace my code with your premium slider function call.

you’d be better of doing that without the shortcode and just using the raw html so you can insert a lightbox class on it. Here’s an example you could paste in your text tab on your editor:

Hey. I’m not having any luck with your example. The modal that I am creating is actually an iframe form page does that make a difference?
I can see that somehow my code got completely messed up in that snippet.. It should look like this:

I get a popup messages that says: Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist. I am using a page url not an image, how could I create the iframe for that form page?
add “?iframe=true” as a parameters in your href so prettyPhoto knows to open the content in an iframe.

Great update but for me the parallax is not working on mobile (iPad or iPhone) and what is more important the slider is not touch sensitive and the navigation poinsts are REALY to small….

The parallax gets disabled on mobile because it would look like crap if I left it on. Smartphones are still not truly capable of rendering a parallax smoothly.
The home slider is swipe enabled, the events are just bound to the captions and videos but if you’re not using any of those then you won’t get the touch control. I will probably go back and redo this in a later update it was only made that way so that swiping didn’t interfere with video slides.
I now I have captions right & left on the arrows on the home slider – this happened after I cleared my cache

Hi! Bug report : Unless I’m doing something wrong, you have a bug in 1.5.1. I tried to insert tabbed sections, and to insert a carousel in one on the sections and I found 2 bugs actually : 1. the carousel is not showing. 2. the header takes half of the screen with just the logo and no menu…
Is it possible to have a carousel inside a tabbed section, or is it something that I forgot to do ?

I think you have a little bug in portfolio > portfolio individual item > top right hand corner navigation buttons – the little button in the middle that is supposed to take you back to the main page – I get error 404
Also I tried creating portfolio subpage – just with one category (say Archives) using your new portfolio display setting – again problem with that central navigation button. This time when I viewed an item from the main portfolio page and clicked on button to return to the main page it took me straight to that new subpage (Archives). I made sure I assigned right categories to each page but now everything links back to subpage.

The extended home page seen in the demo is not a page layout you assign – it’s all created with shortcodes. It’s mostly showing offf the new shortcodes (full width section, full width parallax section, image animation, testimonial slider etc..) You can import the dummy data and get the entire layout so you can see the shortcode setup and learn from it or you can wait a little bit and wait for me to release a new video tutorial going over the 1.6 features

i updates to the ver 1.6. And i already cleaned the cache.but the home page slider navigation arrows LEFT AND RIGHT BUTTON always have “left”&”right” text.. the website:guildwars2cn.com.
