Hi, really thinking about purchasing this. Few questions:
1) Can you use the blog as the home page without the slider? I’d want a static box at the top with “Latest XX” (not blog post) then the latest 5 blog posts under that with a left sidebar with tweets, etc on. Is that possible?
2) Any chart shortcodes?

2. Not at the moment, but you can use a plugin for that.

hi, i just bought this template as i think its looks great, i know in the demo download file there isnt any pictures due to copyright and i also know this is a stupid newby question, how do i get the same effect as you have on the online demo where you have the picture and then the text poping in, thanks in advance.

No such thing as a stupid question The effect you see is the Revolution Slider. It comes bundled with the theme, along with other animated sliders like Layer Slider and Elastic Slider.
But if you want it like our home page, use the Revolution Slider. You can check out our docs and video tutorial that shows you how to set it up. Notice there is a “Q: Setting Up Sliders” then a section for each slider type, http://theme-fusion.com/avada-documentation/#

Hello, this theme looks great and I would like to purchase but have a couple questions.
1) Is there any built in support or an easy way to set up events and ‘upcoming’/’previous’ events based on the event date (as opposed to the posting date)?
2) Is there a way to add a login box and password protect pages/posts?

1. There is not a built-in event feature, but its best to use a plugin for that kind of thing. One of the best ones out there, EVent Espresso works with Avada
2. Same as above, I would use a plugin for this. We will probably be adding a built-in feature for this at some point but ahve not done that yet.

Can you set up a page with side navigation as well as a side bar for widgets? For example.. I’d like to set up a page with side navigation, then a text widget below the side navigation, but also a right sidebar with custom widgets? Thanks!
Yes you can apply a sidebar to a side navigation page, but it does have to be on the same side. So you would have side navigation on the left, and then a sidebar below that. Or side nav on right and a sidebar below that.

You can use the Soundcloud shortcode in the post content field, but not in the featured spot area, but that will be coming in the next 1-2 updates. And all future updates are free once you buy the theme.

extremely interested in buying this theme… quick question, the project and portfolio pages, would i be able to use them for something else? like instead of calling them projects can i call them channels? and can i have multiple “portfolios” like one for channels and one for, lets say, directors?

Yes you can name the pages anything you like, that is not an issue. And you can use them however you like, they will be display the same way as you see on our demo, but they do not need to be used for only “Portfolio” items.

Do you have an Ads widget, which would just be 2 columns of pictures/icons linking to other business and counting clicks.
There is an ad widget set up for 125×125 but by default the sidebar is not wide enough for two. But you can change the sidebar width and content area width to allow two side by side. What you would do is make the content width a little smaller, and sidebar a little wider, which can all be done via theme options
Or you can use it or the regular text widget to place single ads, one on top of the other.
