Well, that site is very different from Avada. The styles/setup/slider are different. WE offer many customizations via theme options and shortcodes, but to get a site like that would require additional coding

Does this them allow you lock the menu at the top of the screen as you scroll down?

The theme currently does not have a “sticky header” but we’ve added it on our end and are including it in our upcoming update in about 2 weeks which is free to anyone who has bought the theme.
We recommend using Ubermnu with Avada as we have built in compatibility.
Wow a full month! I wish you would of emailed us or posted here. The difference is THemeforest does not provide support for any themes, its up to the individual author to provide support. All our info is included in our documentation and “ead me first” file.

Nobody is giving you the run around, and we’ve already given you the links you need. I dont understand why you are not able to use them.

Themeforest DOES NOT provide support for the theme, we do the author. And we post it here in the comments every single day, we include it in the READ ME FIRST file and we include it in our docs. Oh and its also in the “Support” tab that shows up at the top of our item page. There really isnt much else we can do.

I’m thinking to buy this theme but I have a question: Is possible to assign “h1” or “h2” tag to caption text of slider? I think that actually it is a div class and I’m not sure if it’s a best practice for the SEO of the site.

Hi, I want to have differents category page (as blog, for example one page for sport, one page for movie, etc), with the Large Alternate template for blog.. is it possible using the shortcode “blog” inside of each page? I’m asking because I saw that in the shortcode blog -> blog_layout “Large or Medium” thanks

Right now in current build it only takes large or medium, but thats already been changed and is being included in our next release. You can choose from any of our 6 blog layouts and have as many blog pages as you’d like! Coming in about 2 weeks or so, and will be free to anyone who has bought the theme
Hi are there any widgets included for Users to Post Reviews with pictures. If not which widget would i use for this.
There is not a built-in feature for that. You would need to find a plugin that offers that functionality. I’ve not used one so I cant say off the top of my head, but Im sure there are some out there. Presale question: Plugin “Advanced Custom Fields” is it compatible with your Portfolio ?
We’ve not tried that one and I’ve never heard any user bring it up with issues so I can only assume some are using it. But I cant confirm yes or no. I’ll add it to our list to check in the future.

Hi, This is a very competent theme for sure. No offence intended but, how does this theme fare in terms of site loading speed and performance. Do you know of any major traffic receiving site that use this theme. I have a blog that gets 10K hits and I have not even started optimization. Please let me know
Its very good, just view our demo. We get a lot more hits on our demo than that, its a ridiculously high number. Check our google page speeds, which is 86/100, very good. And that is with all our demo content and all features enabled. Users can disable sliders if they are not using them which makes it even faster.

Im not sure what you mean by adding text as list using shortcodes. You can add a rev slider to any page using page options or via shortcodes.
The CSS styles should work for rev slider, please make sure you are using the latest version of Avada v3.0.1.
If the issue persists, please post this up on our support forum. Create a new topic with the above info, then post a second reply with your username/password and mark it as a “private” reply so only we will see those credentials and will be able to login and check the issue.

Is it possible to place a full-screen image slider on the homepage, right under the header? Something that automatically crops and centers images. Does any of the included sliders do that?

Im not sure what you mean by the first question about adding text as list using shortcodes. You can enter a rev slider on any page via the page options box or via the generated shortcode.
The styles should work for rev slider though, you can use any of eh built in ones or build your own.

I meant, is it possible to set a slider height to 100% so that it fills the page (and automatically crops the slider to fit), instead of a fixed height?

For your question, there is not a full screen slider option. The layer or rev slider do not offer that. But we are planning on building one ourselves soon.

We’ve not used a fullscreen slider like that so I cant say for sure. And yes ,we include the latest slider plugins when we update the theme and its coming in about 2 weeks. All future updates are free for users who have bought the theme.
Hi, I have an issue after activating Avada where the menu does not appear even I created many menu pages. I imported the XML file and I get everything but the menu. Please help me. Thank you.
You can use a full width rev or layer slider, but it will not also be a full height, meaning its a fixed height. Right now none of those sliders have a full screen option. We are planning on making our own though very soon.

I love justified alignment. Is there any way to do this with the tagline-boxes and, person boxes, etc???
I read a past comment where you recommended to input this CSS Code, for content boxes
content-boxes .col{text-align:justify;}
It works for content boxes, but whenever I try to do the same with tagline-boxes nothing happens.

Is it possible to download an older version of this theme? I think I have an install where someone has modified the parent theme, and I would like to compare an archive copy to what I have to see if this is the case.

I am long overdue in posting this but I just want to say what an amazing theme Aveda is. I bought it a few months ago when I decided to redesign my own site and had it up and running in no time. Everything about it is so intuitive and it all just makes sense right from the beginning. The flexibility it offers is amazing. If I ever had a question, the support forum has such an abundance of information in it that I was able to get answers quickly from existing posts. I am facing a problem with social icon… For example i added my facebook address in theme options>social sharing links.. www.facebook.com/xxx…after clicking the icon on website… instead of opening my facebook page… It opens a link like www. my website name.com/www.facebook.com/xxx

Hi guys! First of all, congratulations on your achievement! I can only hope that this fame will not side-track you for providing good support to your customers and timely updates to Avada
Speaking of Avada, I have a few pre-purchase questions:
1. I think your theme is very good for businesses but aim for a less “corporate” looks for my website which is a personal and travel site. Do you think there are enough tweaks in the admin panel to allow me to achieve these “non-corporate, non-business but warm and friendly” looks?
2. I do own visual composer plug-in from another theme. Can I use it with Avada? Is it plug-and-play functional with avada? (by the way any ETA for your page builder that you mentioned you are working on?)
3. can I change the colors of the social icons that appear at the end of the articles/blog-posts?
4. Does Avada work with Discus? Or do you recommend any plug in that would incorporate FB comments on the page?

1. Absolutely, take a look at the admin screenshots in detail http://theme-fusion.com/avada/side-navigation/advanced-admin-panel/test/
2. No we have our own shortcode system, and we are adding our own custom page builder in a future update. But all are pages are built using shortcodes, any element can be moved or placed around. Also, we cant give an ETA on page builder, but I can promise it will be done
3. Yes you can select a dark or light color for them. They are images right now so only those two colors. But we are changing and using a new icon font set so soon you will be able to use any color. Again, in a future udpate, Avada is constantly evolving. But for now if you wanted say Red, you can simply edit the icon files to be red and save them and it will show red. Not a big change at all.
4. WE’ve not used Discus before so I cant say, nor have I seen one for facebook comments. But it should be fine, if any issues arise with a plugin we have our users let us know on the forum and we take care of it as best we can. It does depend on if its theme related or plugin related, since we can only control our theme.

Guys, thank you very much for the prompt response. To be honest with you, knowing that you have a single theme that you are constantly improving is one of the main (if not the biggest) points that probably will make me buy your theme. And as for the upcoming updates that you promised, your word is good for me so I will go ahead and buy the theme as soon as I will have the proper arrangements in place. By the way, is there somewhere a list of future planned improvements (no hard commitment, but at least “things that you are down the road”)?
Thats good to hear We work daily on Avada and our support, we are fully committed to our user and product.
We dont have a future plan road as stuff changes so much. We do have a feature request thread o our forum that users submit their requests and we always check that when updating.
i will say that the page builder will take time to build as we are building our own from the ground up. The social icon I mentioned above will be faster than page builder though. Our page builder has been delated a little bit due to the new THemeforest guidelines, which just came out.
