You can import the XML file to get all our layouts, or copy individual ones from our documentation. If you copy them from our docs, make sure to copy and paste the demo content into the TEXT editor and not the visual editor http://theme-fusion.com/avada-documentation/#xml

Im not seeing any logo on your site. Make user to go to the header tab in theme options and upload your logo in the log fields. Then you can adjust the spacing for the logo with logo margins and also header top and bottom margins, all right there in theme options on the header tab.

I was wondering if the style slider on the right is visible only for the admin. anohter question is if the theme supports pay pal

The style selector is for our main demo for users to see some quick options. You can enable it in teh code if you wish, but its not a theme option to turn on or off.

First of all thanks for the great work and regular updates. We just purchased our third license and will be purchasing MANY more in the near future. I just have one quick question that will allow us to use this theme for (4) more upcoming projects. Is there a way to add a Phone, Address, etc. field to contact page in the theme. If so we have another client with multiple locations that this theme would be perfect for. I hope to hear from you soon.

Yes you can but it does require editing the contact.php file. Our form that comes with it is just a basic form. We do have plans to possibly add a built-in form builder in the future, but right now the best option is to use a free plugin like Contact Form 7. And the great news is in our upcoming release in about 5-7 days, we will have added custom styles for Contact Form 7 and the premium plugin Gravity Forms that will make them look like they are apart of Avada from the start
So you can use Contact Form 7, build a custom form how you want it with all the fields, then insert it on a page. Use the google map shortcode for your map, which has all the same options of the built in one via theme options.

A) Will you be fixing the issue mentioned above?
Also please let me know what can be done about your sliders text not showing up in the same places on different systems, ipad vs win7 (any browser) for instance. Causing quite the hassle.
Quite concerned about the latency with 3.6 Compatibility.
Please restore my faith in ThemeFusion

Why have you lost faith in Themefusion? We haven’t missed a beat and never will. If you are having issue with WP 3.6 its not the Avada theme, its most certainly a plugin issue and probably a jQuery issue and that is out of our hands. They changed the jQuery in it and a huge portion of plugins will need to be updated. That is not dependent on us, but the plugin developers. WP 3.6 has just been out for a out a week, and we have had the layer slider fix on our forum a day before it was released. Its always best to check there.
We have a new update coming in about 5-7 days that is one of the best ones we’ve ever had. We work daily for you guys, and constantly issues new updates loaded with features unlike other who just issue updates to fix stuff.

I am also having issues with installation. Once it is “fully uploaded,” an error message comes up that reads, “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.”
And I do, to no avail.
I use BlueHost, and I’m utilizing Google Chrome. Should either of these things cause an issue?
I corrected the issue.
The error “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.” means you ahve a file upload limit, upload the theme via FTP and you’ll be set
Pre Sales Question:
I am thinking of buying your theme and have a few questions:
1) What information do I need to provide to a hosting company to make sure you are compatible with them. 2) Have you had any issues with GoDaddy? 3) What other cost effective hosting companies work well with your theme.

1. Hmmm, well as long as they can install WP on your site you will be fine. Also, its better to not get a “shared” hosting plan as it will be slower.
2. Not that I can recall no, should be fine
3. www.wpengine.com is the best in our opinion, but does cost more. BUt as they say, you get what you pay for!
Updated Wordpress to 3.6
Now getting the following error on the home page

on mobile device / smartphone it displays a navigation menu on top of the call us today / phone number / info mail bar… is this supposed to be there?
Yes if you have a secondary top menu Any menu on your site will turn into a single dropdown field on mobile devices.
Can I create content boxes without images or icons?
Sure, just leave the icon and image area blank

Which icons? You can use the font awesome icons, which is a font and has not icon image files. Our social meia icons are in the “avada > images” folder

Problems with installation – is there a bug?
a. avada.zip file not loading via wordpress installation, not being recognised.
b. ftp upload won’t recognise the unzipped folder and only all the files, which will take ages to upload.
Tried going through your support system but couldn’t actually submit the query as there was no place to do this.
Please restore my faith in what looks like a good theme.

Trust me, no worries. There is no bug with install that we know of or reported by anyone else and this theme is installed about 800x a week.
For our support system, did you signup at our forum and register your purchase code? Click Here To Create A Free Account & Watch Video Tutorial once oyu do that you can create a new topic by going to the avada forum section, then scrolling down to the bottom of the page to find the “create a new topic” fields
a. I’ve never heard of this not being recognized. What errors does it give you?
b. Same as above. I’ve never even heard of FTP not recognizing a file, that makes no sense. What does it tell you?
We would need to experience this first hand. Please signup at the forum. Create a new topic with the above info, then post a second reply with your FTP info and WP username/password and mark it as a “private” reply so only we will see those credentials and will be able to login and check the issue.

a. After a bit more digging – so uploading via wordpress is coming across your common problem that the theme folder being bigger than most hosting providers will allow a user to upload. Annoying that if this is such a common problem you don’t tell us about this before hand…. I’ve just wasted a few hours going round in circles on this. But now I know.
b. Really weird but my hosting provider www.dreamhost.com – using Webftp to upload folders / files – only recognises the files and not the folders. So I’ having to open up each folder and load the files individually…. which is taking A LONG time!
Advice to speed up actually getting to use your theme is much appreciated.
I have now signed up to support system and am wading through the forum.

a. Its not a very common problem to be honest, and this is why I asked you if there was an error message, its impossible for us to know unless we have more details. If you have a limit on your file upload, simply upload it via FTP. Your original message only said it was not being recognized, which is not the error message that shows up if you have a file limit.
b. The theme folder should not take long at all to upload, maybe 3-5 minutes on a regular hosting plan
As I said we will gladly install it for you but need you to post a new thread on our forum. The speed of your upload has nothing to do with the theme, and has everything to do with your hosting provider. That is out of our hands. But we will install it for you. To create a new thread, signup at the forum, and click on Avada forum section, then scroll to bottom of the page to fill out the new “create a new topic fields”.

Yes, you can change the sidebar postion of each page in the page options. look for “Page: Sidebar Position” and change it to left.

Hey There is not a sitemap shortcode, but there are several plugins you could try out for that. WE might be adding one in the future too.
I know you are going to be doing your own page builder which is great, but how is compatibility with Visual Composer? does it work ok, are there any conflicts?, cant find much on the support site about it…

Love the theme! One question…
I’m replacing icons with images inside of a 4 column content box. The images are book covers that are in vertical rectangular format. The image is getting squashed down into the square constraints of the icon’s placeholder. Is there a way to remove that formatting, or to just have the image appear at it’s given size and aspect ratio? It’s the “icon-boxed” format, and I’d like the image to remain in the position it’s in (laid half-over top of the box). I hope this makes sense, and I hope I’m not missing something very simple.

PS – This theme was purchased by a colleague, who I’m trying to help with her design.
That particular design is going to have ot have image icons at the same size of the font awesome icons, its a unique design with icon overlaying the box. The other layouts should not do that.
