Good day,
I have installed the theme, realy like it! Realy responsive on my phone, wil be a great deal for my community. There comes the but 
, I have installed http://phpbbsocialnetwork.com/ a social platform for Phpbb3, and the theme is not compatible with it, okey didnt expect it but i would like it to be 
.
The Activity page like it is now, is just a page with everything below eachother, tabs, modules and stuff are not on the place were normaly prosilver_style has them, like on the printscreens from phpbbsocialnetworks.
There is a extra page “activitypage.php”, i quess i have to connect the stylesheet from Metro in anyway.. Ok i know my way in css, but to connect them, i realy dont now, i am playing with the files a while but cannot figure it out.
I hope you could join in the social platform, or help me in any other way

I think this is a common problem within, the “Social” program. Did not work with my prosilver to so or i did something wrong or its theirs. Hope i will get it work with your great theme!

Yes, phpbbsocialnetwork has some style issues because it’s using own css-rules. And the original Metro css-styles are included in it – you just have to change some css-rules to match the main theme.

Gah!!! I wish you had a MyBB version of this. I love MyBB but all the themes, including “premium” ones, have design quirks that just ruin the entire experience (they all feel like 1995 design schemes or modern-”ish” themes with strange and unpleasing quirks). I’ve been trying to customize a few with different ones but as I’m a bookie type of guy and in no way artsy, my iterations keep coming out amateurish and weird. Metro’s design is just so perfectly modern, the mobile version is great, and I think as a last resort I may have to trash the idea of MyBB and go for phpBB…

I’m sorry to say but we don’t have plans to create a MyBB Metro version at the moment. MyBB still has an old-style table layout and it would not be so easy to create a fully responsive design.

you have any issues with it?[/quote]Argh, sorry about the Live Preview bit. I was getting a “DNS not resolved” error, but the page loads fine when I go through a VPN. Probably a problem with my ISP.

Yes, we can try to rebuild the html-structure, but for many users it will be quite difficult to install some mods then.

Just tried it again and it’s working now not sure what was happening yesterday.
I do have another question. I need to change the red color to a warmer one for branding purposes I was able to go through all the psd files and change the red for the icons etc. Where do I change the color for headers navigation etc

All the colors are stored in css-template files. Here are the files -
colours.css common.css content.css cp.css responsive.css
You can just use a mass replace – it’s quite easy and fast.
Hi, I opened up the all files in dreamweaver and did a search and replace for the #b21a41 color and changed it. I uploaded that edited version but when i load it I’m still getting the original pink color
Hmmm nevermind for some reason it’s not even showing the edited one as an option. The one I was loading is the default metro_red theme with the #b21a41 even though I never uploaded the original metro_red to my styles folder.
Did you try to clear the theme cache? You can do it here: ACP – Styles – Style Components – Themes – YOUR_THEME – Refresh

You should just rename ‘en’ folder (it’s inside ‘imageset’ folder) into ‘pt’.

The icons are stored in the following file -
images/metro/COLOR_THEME/misc/nav-icons-bg.png.
It’s a sprite (http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_image_sprites.asp). The PSD-file containing the icons is called “nav-icons.psd”. You can add own icons to the sprite and assign them to the tabs you want using css-rules. All the css-rules for the tabs can be found in the ‘additional.css’ template of your theme.
That is you should just add extra 120px (for each icon) into ‘nav-icons-bg.png’ and then assign it via css.

I use the board with an fullscreen background and it looks amazing. My Problem is, that the header logo and the navigation quarters have an space which ist complete white, and that looks not so nice. Also the same problem i have with the prefooters, the have also a white space between the left and the right side. Could you help me, where i can change this to transparent?

I have a custom Game Reviews mod which lets members rate and review ps3 games. on my previous style, supernova, it looked fantastic, however after importing my game_review.css into the stylesheet.css all my H3(headings) text, fonts and sizes text wont inherit, even though i have rules for them in my css, they stay the same as the main styles, i never had this problem with supernova, its as though its ignoring my css file. Any ideas??

I have a question concerning the layout size that appears than a phone is viewing the forum. The logo can be no wider than about 230 pixels before it starts overlapping the button that shows the “FAQ” and “Member” links. Do you want to decrease the sidebar width? You should find the following lines in the ‘common.css’ template -
#sidebar {
float: left;
width: 252px;
margin-bottom: 12px;
}
#page-body-inner {
float: left;
width: 916px;
margin-right: 12px;
}
Just change the ’#sidebar’ width and don’t forget to increase ’#page-body-inner’ width respectively.
