I’m trying to replace the icon with one of my own icon images. However, it is shrinking the icon down no matter what size I make it. Thanks for your time!

Just a note: If you are using the icon-boxed version then the icon will be shrinked down, that has to happen so it keeps the design in tact (the icon overtop of the box).

Avada is a great theme for the website we’re building, however I have an issue regarding the footer – there is a “white bar”/incorrect proximity value to the bottom of the page.
As you’ll be able to see on our website: http://www.1voice.com.au/, if you could send some CSS code through to remove that, or whatever the issue may be, then we can easily integrate that to fix it.

That is the bottom of the page content. Since you do not have a lot of content on the page, the page elements stop.
What you are wanting is called a “sticky footer” and currently we do not have one. We’ve only had one other request for this so we’ve not added in this feature. But I will add this to our list now for a future udpate.

Please note, if you do that, then there will be a lot of extra empty white space on your page. Basically the white space moves from below the footer to up above it. THe space has to be there, the only way to get rid of that is to add more content.

We have a small problem that can be solved determined. We only sell e-products. The step after checkout (select shipment) is therefore unnecessary. There now appears a white page. How can we remove this step. We’ve disabled shipment on WooCommerce.

On August 23rd I received a notification from you:

I do not see any update in my Theme Forest download section. Where is it?
You should see the “Avada” item in your downloads tab. Click the “download button” to download the theme file or the main package which is what we recommend.
If you do not see Avada there, then you need to contact Themeforest support and let them know. They can put it back http://support.envato.com
So basically download the original file? “Installable Wordpress Only”?
Yes that will give you the “avada.zip” file, which is the WP theme. Or you can download the “main files” which also gives you everything (PSD’s docs, XML, avada.zip, etc). Our docs are also online too so you dont need to have those locally.

I just purchased another copy of this Avada theme (for a different business of mine), and downloaded the 3.1.1 version. I noticed a child theme in the folder contents. I didn’t notice a child theme when I first downloaded & installed Avada months ago. Do I need to install this child?

No you do not need it, its a starter child theme for those who want to build a child theme off the parent, which is done if you are making code changes. Read about it in the codex, http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
We’ve included one for a long time now though, probably for about 6- 8 months. It will always be in the “main files” you download from Themeforest, so maybe you only downloaded the “installable wordpress theme”, which will just be the parent Avada.
One more pre-purchase question – how bad is it in IE6 & 7. The client I need this for has a charity site with the potential a lot of older non-computer-literate users – If I build the site in Avada what will they not see properly. Too many of them to expect them to upgrade.

We do not support IE 6 and 7 so I cant say for sure. IE7 should be pretty good but they are not supported browsers.

We’ve not added styles for BuddyPress, but we have had other users tell us that it does work with Avada. We have not done a full test for it ourselves though, but will do so in the future. But from what we know, it does work. If you do have issues, you can post on our forum and we will take a look for you.

Hi, I purchased the theme last week but still not able to download the full package (I could download the theme alone though and works fine). Whenever I try to open the zip file, it says that the zip file is damaged or unknown. I could see the content but cannot extract. I could not also see the xml. Could you please help? Regards, NS

It sounds like the main file is not fully downloaded then if its giving you that error. I just checked it and its working, I downloaded it then extracted it.
The XML is included in the main package too. If you signup and post on our forum, we can post the XML file for tyour there. Let them know what the situation is, and we can post it up.
I assume the download is not finished once you extract Does it says its done? Did you make sure to give it enough time? Its a big package and can take some time.

Most likely the audio plugin you are using is conflicting with the progress bars jQuery. The plugin you are using is not our own code, so it could be any number of things. Are you using WP 3.6? Has it been updated to support WP 3.6?
If the issue persists, please post this up on our support forum. Create a new topic with the above info, then post a second reply with your username/password and mark it as a “private” reply so only we will see those credentials and will be able to login and check the issue.

Yes Im using WP 3.6 and the two different audio plugins im using don’t work
My question was, have the audio plugins themselves been updated for WP 3.6, a lot of things changed and most plugins need updated.

Yes the pluggins thmselves was been update for wp 3.6 and they work for my another website with (inovado template).
Every theme is different and Avada has a lot more features than that theme. You need to disable all other plugins as well to see if there is a conflict. And make sure you are using Avada 3.1.1.

Its not touch, but there are navigation buttons directly on top of the slider images to easily navigate

Allright guys, good theme…. Just installed it. Just one thing though. I guess you would have already figured this out by selling to more than 30 k users.
Once you are done celebrating the sales, put some links to online documentation in your theme options, will ya?
I know read me first file. I still had to look for a link on the theme for fifteen minutes, was just amazed at how could the theme just be not saying anything about it. I had to copy the url from your read me file and paste it on browser. It took me more than 20 minutes for the entire process.
Seriously I was looking for wizards in your theme. Yeah crazy but I think that comes with the glory of successful products. Just joking on the wizard thing. Usability is just a hype. It’s just bullshit from big corporations isn’t it.
I also went to your demo site.. I somehow ended up in features, loaded demo content. That stupid said something about videos. But again no links. Good god! Now i need to find where this videos are. So spent few minutes on your demo site. It was turning to one of those easter egg competition. Loved it though. Wasted it a bit of time but still…
Eventually decided to come here and had to go all the way to the bottom trying to read the boxes on the way through, if you would have written something like click here for tutorials.
Last week I purchased Neighborhood theme, that guy does an amazing job at including instructions in the theme download folder. i basically setup the entire demo site within an hour in neighborhood theme. Because I didn’t have to fish for anything. It was right there in the folder.
Or may be it’s just me that I find myself wanting to work on it by myself rather than every five minutes go to developers for css, html issues.
It’s been one hour I have been trying to setup your theme, I am typing this comment here.
By the way youtube is blocked in China. I am sure there might have been quite a few Chinese buyers for this theme as well..
I am sorry if I sound rude, I don’t mean to be. I just am giving you guys a feedback so that you could provide some justice to a theme that has been very succesful.
Love the theme though. I know I am stupid, because I have a pattern. I am a user. Usability and User patterns, user behaviors are legitimate topics.

The other thing is, Themeforest changed how files are downloaded. A few months ago, you could only download the entire package, and that package included the online docs. So this would not of been an issue.
Now, they allow you to only download the wordpress theme, which does not contain the online docs due to size.
But everything you need is online at our forum (docs, videos, support), all in one easy place. We can certainly add a link to our support forum in theme options.
Just purchased this. Let’s see what this beast is about. Am excited.

What are you asking exactly? That style selector is just for our demo to show users a few of the different options they can do via theme options.

I was using the version 2.0.1 & recently I updated to the latest version. But the problem is I cannot finding the way of putting the double line border in the right side of all tittle.
It was there when I was using previous version, But due to update it is gone. Please help me to solve this issue.
