Quick question about a problem that is really starting to bug me.
I have my Blog page setup as medium. When I create a post it shows up on my blog page perfectly with the image on the left and text on the right. The problem I have is when I scroll over the featured image from the post (while still on the blog page) a green box covers the entire image and has the title text of the post in it. I was able to stop this in the post itself by removing image rollover icons.
I am not having any luck with that on the blog page as even after removing rollover icons I still get an annoying green box with text.
Please let me know if there is an option I missed to remove this.

Those are the image rollovers, and you can turn them on or off in theme options on the extras tab. You can also choose to show both icons or no icons in theme options which is a global option, or disable them per post in the post options box.

I have purchased your theme and would love to start working on it. However, once i clicked upload I received a “fatal error” message.

Disable options framework plugin or delete it from wp-content/plugins folder.
I can’t even get into my admin page anymore. Should i go in through go daddy? if so, where do i find the thing to delete?
Login to your FTP acccount using a FTP client and delete options-framework folder from wp-content/plugins folder.

I was wondering if there is a way to change the font color on hover with your main navigation. I can’t seem to get anything to work. Thanks.
Hey! The actual font color itself? Its setup to have the background change color on hover so that would take a custom CSS solution.
Well I have a green theme. On active and on rollover it turns green. I can seem to find a way to have the rollover color turn a different color other then green that is pre-defined. All my custom CSS codes will not work. Such as #nav ul a:hover as an example. I can change the background but not the font color. Maybe I’m missing something. Thanks for the help so far.

But you can use the Post Type Order plugin to reorder the FAQ posts though.

You can set the size of google maps in theme options on contact page. Not sure what you mean by boxed, do you mean a border? There is not an option for that so you would need custom CSS.
To remove the sidebar, choose page full width “yes” in page options of contact page.

does the carousel slider of your theme also work with post thumbnails AND excerpts, i. e. every slide consisting of these two components? Would be a very important function for me (and considering current design trends, also for many other users).

Hey Sascha No it does not work with portfolio excerpts, only with the images. We can add this though in the future, I love the idea.

The height of the carousel can be customized but it requires editing code to do so you would need to know how to do that. And there is also an auto-play feature in the carousel but that would also require code editing. Both of those features are going to be built in eventually for easy access, but Im not sure when.

is there any possibility to make a portfolio slider with shortcodes?
I know there is a recent_works shortcode but none of these layout can make a slider for my portfolios.
Right now none of your portfolio shortcoes make a slider, they show the first image in the set. We would need to add this feature. For now, you would need to use a regular slider shortcode and simply insert your portfolio images. You can also insert a custom link for them so it links to your portfolio page.

The menu hover color is an option in theme options on the styling tab. Its in the menu section.
I do not see background option – in First level style – only two options available – Menu Font Color – First Level and Menu Font Hover Color – First Level what I am looking for is similar to this one – Menu Background Color – Sublevels(instead of sublevel I need first level) Thank you,
Do you want the top most level to change hover color? That is not setup, it only shows the 3px border above the menu item. Is that what you are referring to? If so that is controlled by the primary color on the site. If you need it by itself please post on our forum with that request.

Those are regular bullets, you need to use the [checklist] shortcode to get our custom bullets. Those bullets are standard basic bullets and follow the color for body font.

I lied. One more question before I purchase (I am trying to think of all my hesitations). Can you change the menu bars look? For instance can I add a “sign up for my e-mail list” to it? Social media icons by or right below it? and can I have it be more transparent so the slider bleeds into it a little?

Hey Tom,
You can add a signup for my email menu item, you can add any custom menu link you want. But adding icons or changing the styles of it will require custom CSS and/or code edits. But that is true for any theme, unless it already comes with icons next to menu

Not yet but one is coming in a future update. Right now though, all pages are built using shortcodes which is very easy to do.

There is an option in theme options to strip_HTML content from the blog excerpts, its on the blog tab. And the [blog] shortcode also has the option built into the shortcode

Hi, I have purchased the theme and was very happy and excited at first but I’m starting to get very aggitated at certain elements and would like the help of support asap! 1. Not all the “Advanced Header Options” allow themselves to work. The ones displaying the pages on the side, do not show the pages at all when i activate them as a choice, they will only show navigation in the top bar. 2. My slogan heading next to search wont show even when selected and written. 3. WooCommerce shows no-where for me to display it or get in there and design the template page. 4. I don’t know how “portfolio” is supposed to be built when it allows no image downloads in it? 5. The footer at the bottom goes off the edge and the text there is illegibale, I have done everything to alter this and no avail. 5. The sliders make my images smaller when i bring the resolution down instead of making the slider smaller..why? How does the template you display on here have such small slidrs? 6. Where do I acceess these .po and .mo translation files I apparently get with this? 7. My footer widets move nearly off the screen to the left..why is this?
I really feel like this is tedious and I’ve been working hard and havnt missed a spot to try figure and work these things out. I would really appreciate some assistance. The site is avdjewellery.com. I was so looking forward to using this theme and I’m feeling very dissapointed at the lack of access and altering to things.

We handle support on our forum, please signup and post there. I can answer some quick stuff here for you, but please follow up on the forum where we handle support.
1. You probably dont have a mian menu set. You need to set the main menu in teh menu section of your admin, and also a top menu. Assigning menus will make them show up for each header
2. You need to use header 4 for your tagline. Please see the admin panel header tab, it describes that tagline works with header 4 only
3. That is not an avada thing, that is WooCommerce. All your apges are created for Woo when you install. Then you need to search for those pages in admin section to edit them.
4. Im not sure I understand this, Please refer to our docs on how to make your portfolio http://theme-fusion.com/avada-documentation/Avada_Docs.html#port
5. This has to be content relates. We would need to see your site, please post this on our forum

You can edit the “Go To” menu text in the main.js file.
All titles/headings are controlled via theme options. If you want a different font for only one size heading, then you need to use custom CSS for that. Signup and post on our forum and include your site URL and we can take a look.

This looks very interesting.
There’s just something that bugged me while playing with the demo.
-when clicking the ‘share this’ social button, can it be popped up rather than load a new page? Preferably in a lightbox or inline via a dropdown?
-The sticky header has weird UI behavior. For a comparison, I recently visited viki.com and it sticks properly rather than giving a ‘flash & reload’

2. You are seeing that due to the top “TF Purchase Bar”. You need to close that out, it puts the whole site in an iFrame. Or use this link http://theme-fusion.com/avada/

1. Can i request such feature to be implemented after purchase? Well i don’t know what you feel but most of these social widgets pop up in a small box. To be loaded in the same page (not even a new window?) feels bad. Most of the sites i visit pops up and that is the normal behavior of modern design.
2. I have loaded it without the purchase bar. It still flashes briefly as though it’s telling me ‘hey i’m still here’, which is not needed. If it sticks, it should just mean ‘hey i’m part of this website’. Just like the viki site, it feels natural.
3. I think it’s not part of your design as well, but i wish the menu bar implement a fade effect.
Everything about it is great, but i somehow think these small details make it more complete.
1. This will probably be something we change in the future, but if you need it right away then you would need to have it done.
2. Do you mean the fading effect when it first shows up? That is a design decision. If thats not it, then we’re still not seeing this and I checked the forum and no others have reported it. Will triple check again today.

hey guys.
you helped me a lot here. im a big fan of your theme unless i have a little problem.
installed the new version of avada on wordpress yesterday. everything is fine except that i cant upload a new logo for example.
when im in the theme options and want to upload anything in there my screen is shading black and the excpecting upload manager is not popping up.
Can you help me please?

Thanks for the comments! This sounds like a bad theme install, or possibly a plugin conflict.
Can you disable all your plugins and then see if it works. If not, please reupload the theme files again as some might of been corrupted.

Do you mean the gray backgrounds? I think one has clouds on them, right? The main images (not the background ones) are license stock image so those are not included, but if you need to grayish backgrounds then I can send them to you after sale. Those are backgrounds I made in Photoshop. Once you purchase the theme, email me and I can send those to you.
