I uploaded 4 background images. It uploads then says “No pictures were uploaded” as an error.

Is it only when you select 4 images? Do the images show up in the Media Gallery? Are you working locally by any chance, or on an online web server? If you could open up a Support Ticket with temporary login details to your WordPress admin panel we would be happy to take a look at it for you!

Hi. Love the theme. Any chance the theme can use AJAX to avoid reloading each page? Also what is the possibility of creating several different independent galleries within the menu/theme.
Thanks for the comments! You could customize it to load using AJAX but this functionality would not be built in by default. It is not a problem to have several independent galleries within the menu/theme with Media Grids or Portfolios.

Hi! I have added the Custom Menu widget to my site and the font for this is huge, so huge that the menu names overlap. I have looked around and can not find where I can change the font size for this, can you point me in the right direction for this?

You can just go to the Flight option panel, go to the Fonts tab, and reset them all to defaults. That should fix the problem, but if not feel free to open a Support Ticket and we would be happy to have a look at it for you!

I’ve got some trouble with shortcodes in v1.9 – when I use boxes (article box, small box and also featured box) they alway link to root / homepage. They shouldn’t link anywhere!
Hope you can fix this error soon!
We just added this functionality to make it easy for folks who want to create links, so you can just delete the link from the shortcode if you don’t use it.
This is a good point though, we will update it later today so that when you create the shortcode, if you have left the link field empty it won’t insert the link snippet at all. Thanks for pointing this out!
Deleting the link from the shortcode does not help – it links nevertheless to the homepage! (btw., there is no link option in small box but it does link to the homepage)
When will the update with the fix be available?
Well it was fixed in v.1.91 released this morning, but the small boxes were not setup with the link option in that version (although the fix for the homepage link should be). We are just updating it right now to include the small box link option, it should be available in the next couple of hours (depending how fast ThemeForest approves it). It will be v1.92

I was able to solve this problem myself! To install the theme I unzipped the original file, and then did installation using Flight.zip inside the “Theme Install File” folder. And that’s it! All is fine now.

Yes, it is very easy to change! The default is set to 5000ms (5 seconds) but you can make it whatever you want. Thanks

How does woocommerce work with your site in the description it states woocommerce ready? would appreciate the feedback.
It just works All you have to do is install the plugin: http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/
Can you be a little more specific?
It’s no different then installing any other plugin:
1.) Download this file: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce.zip
2.) Go to your WordPress /wp-admin/ and Plugins > Add New > Upload > Browse > select the file you just downloaded > Install Now – (This will install the plugin in your WordPress)
3.) Activate the plugin
4.) Configure WooCommerce with your settings and products
5.) Add it to your WordPress menu if you want
Only other thing to note is you will have to be using a fairly recent version of the Flight theme because WooCommerce support wasn’t included in the early versions.

Just wanted to update this, we are having some issues with Captcha (the styling is too big and impossible to change), so we are redoing it using Google’s captcha and working on the styling of it now so it flows with the theme. It will probably be tomorrow sometime as this turned out to be more work then we anticipated. Stay tuned

Akismet would be the best if you could figure out how to integrate it – no extra lines on the form for the user to enter the words/numbers they see as Akismet allows or disallows the message to even be sent based on content!
Thanks for the input, we have built-in Akismet support now and set it up with an error box to match the theme if Akismet suspects it to be spam. Great suggestion, we are also building it into our next theme as well that should be released in a month or so

PERFECT! I think Akismet was definitely the way to go, right on! I think all of you present and future customers will very much appreciate this feature. I will update my clients template and let you know how things go.
On a side note – I just got around to playing with the logo functionality on the homepage from your last update. I did see the code now displaying the grey hover aspect (which works perfectly), but it is still not giving me a “Link” option to insert a URL (I would also need the option for the target=_X as well for this). I’m sorry I didn’t get to this sooner so you could have rolled this out all in one shot!

Thank you! Please don’t hate me, but I just found something else! With the logos again, if you attempt to add more than 6 images, the shortcode script will allow for it, but will only show 6 on the site. Should the logos scroll or was it meant to simply create a line break for the next row of six?
Yes it is limited to six (no scrolling), you just have to run the shortcode again for another group of six if you want 2 or more rows of them.
The only problem with that is the decorative lines above and below the logo area. Adding another logo row would double-up on those lines. I know I have been a pain, but any way you guys could do a simple line break within the shortcode to add another row? Scrolling would be awesome, but I know that would take a bit to code for.
No problem, we will update it to include a break automatically every 6 logos. The update hasn’t been approved yet anyway so I just cancelled it and we will make those changes and resubmit it.

Hi Guys! I’m playing around with the Akismet now – I’m putting in obvious stuff like “Viagra” for instance and the emails are still giving a message as being sent (This was after I turned on the protection and cleared the cache on the page)
I may have answered my own question – I logged out and I am now getting the “Die Spammer” message…
I believe you cannot be logged into the admin panel. I will verify with one of our developers, but I’m pretty sure that is how it works
Thought I would share – readyshovel.com – I think the site turned out great!!!
Looks great! If you update to version 2.0 (just released) it should fix some issues on mobile resolutions (simply because you have mobile disabled). We noticed a couple of media queries still loading in the luminosity files, so we have corrected that now.

BTW – If you change the below line in your CSS file for the next update, it allows for the extra logos (beyond six carrying over to the next line) a bit of space in-between and looks much better (in my opinion).

Just came across another idea – client needed to add a message on the contact page. I added the message by removing the “Let’s keep in touch” statement. Would be a great idea to give us a field in the admin to have the option of replacing that statement with a custom one. Just a thought…
Great suggestion, we have added this in, not just for ‘Let’s Keep In Touch’ but for all of the elements on the Contact Page We also added some other customer-requested features such as an option to move the logo left/right/center, and an option to adjust slideshow speed between slides right in the Flight Option Panel. Hello, newb here. I’m using the Flight theme and I’m having trouble positioning/moving the side nav menu. I tried modifing what is in bold in the style.ccs below, but in the website side menu appears in the right position for a second and then goes back up to it’s original position which it is over the header logo. The latest theme update caused a problem with my flyout menu. I can’t post the URL here because the site contains adult content.
Whichever page I go to now, the Home Page menu is always highlighted.
The background slideshow also disappeared and reverted to your original slideshow, so I had to set that up again. That is ok now but the menu problem is still there
Are you getting any javascript errors in the Console? (You can use Firebug in Firefox or Chrome Developer Tools by right-clicking, Inspect Element, go to the Console tab and then refresh the page). Do you have any additional plugins installed? If so try disabling them and see if that makes a difference… If you don’t get anywhere with either of those things, please open a Support Ticket with temporary login details. Thanks!

Hi Themesuite! How do you change the logos at the bottom of the homepage? It seems that everything is embedded in the script which I wouldn’t think you would have people edit to make the changes… I do have the code in place and I am able to show the stock ones, but can’t quite figure out how to add my own.

Do you have a list for the options available for that shortcode? I was able to set my image, and figured out that adding link=”X” works just fine, but I can’t get the image to start out grey scale and goto color.
No problem at all! In the theme version you are using it only allows a single image (no hover), however because you mentioned this we have updated the theme so the shortcode options now to include the grey scale as well as the color versions when you hover over it. It will be Version 1.6, which is in the queue waiting for ThemeForest to approve it.
Just to let you know, we also have an Automatic Updater built into the theme, so you can see what has changed and update with 1 click of a button. It will notify you of updates as they are released, and you will see the changelog on the update page. You would have to at least already be on a version that had the ThemeForest Automatic Updater (and have created/added an API key in your account to use it) in order to see new updates and view all the changelogs (they will only show up when there is a new update). It is covered in the documentation how to set it up. Also, make sure you are using the Child Theme for any core theme changes so that you don’t lose any changes when it updates!

Curious, how can I change the transparency level?
Thanks for the compliment! It would have been literally just 1 place in the CSS to change it (we have a 100% CSS3 version of the body), however the double-layered rounded corners in Safari for some reason don’t render properly, so we had to use images for compatibility. All that being said, the Photoshop files are included so you can adjust the transparency levels and re-export the images.
Or probably even easier:
1.) Open the background PNG files in Photoshop (located in /wp-content/themes/flight/images/dark/ (or /light/ if you are using the light version)
2.) Copy/cut and paste them into new Photoshop files
3.) On the right-hand side toolbar under ‘Layers’ adjust the opacity as you wish
4.) Save and close

Hi! Is it possible to change the titles of the items on the Side Navigation Menu? For example in the widget box for the Home Right Sidebar I have the widget Flight Side Navigation Menu and when I look at our website it says Side Navigation. We really don’t want to it to say this and want to be able to make this say something else. On other themes you are able to change what it says just by going straight to the widget part of the dashboard but I am not seeing anywhere to do this for your theme. Is this something I am able to do? Thanks for all your help!
