Just updated to the new theme – the new 40px mobile logo doesn’t show up on Android Chrome…and only in this browser do I get a new footer that didn’t appear before that says the blog “is proudly powered by Wordpress Entries (RSS) and Comments (RSS)”. What’s the easiest way to change this?
Is there also a way to change the fullscreen slider in mobile view to actually show up in fullscreen, even if cut off? The way it shows up now on my homepage, it renders proportionally across the screen so that the whole website with a collapsed menu takes up maybe a third of the screen with white space the rest of the way through.

About that footer it seems that it’s not coming from the theme. Can you try turning off all the plugins you may have?

Oh… Ok and thank you for purchasing! Inside the Documentation folder you’ll find 2 pdf files (icons_1 and icons_2) and they contain the classes to make the icons show. As an example you can add them using the Services element of the Visual Composer. Send me a private message if you need any help with this.

The sidebar uses CSS3 animation if you choose the menu 3D effect option (it is the theme default behavior). With the 3D effect off the theme uses jQuery to implement the animation. To edit both behaviors and functions you’ll need to edit the custom.css and the main.js files.

I feel stupid for asking this but ive having deleted all the demo pages I wanted to start afresh. So I created a Home, Contact & Portfolio page. The only problem is that even though I setup the Menu’s I just cant establish the Home correctly so that anyone typing my email address will go to the home page. It seems to go to a blog page for some reason. I know ive done something dumb and this is a school boy error but I can find anything in your theme options to ensure I establish my ‘home’ pageas THE ‘home’ page

Don’t be so hard on yourself 
Please go to Settings>Reading and select the page that you want to show as your homepage. Make sure also that you don’t assign anything to the option “Posts page”.

Lol, I have to confess I was never looking in that direction so it was worth a text. Thank you.
couple of observations: a) Ive found that the WP interface cause the top and bottom to be obscured when viewing my site. Particularly the footer on the menu where my copyright info is cut off. If I sign-out and then go to the site its fine. b) I want to use Bebas Neue as my headings font which subsequently also dictates the menu font. When I view the navigation on the left it creates the effect I see in Photoshop when I place a duplicate text layer on top of each other. It forces the font to thicken and lose its clarity. Or at least its not looking sharp (furry edges for a more descriptive viewpoint). It seems fine within the slider but somehow it just doesnt look sharp as a menu font. Ive tried different weights but nothing fixes it.

Here are my comments:
a) It’s true, but because the theme makes calculations according to the window height it behaves like that. You can go to Users>Your profile and disable the option “Show Toolbar when viewing site” as a workaround;
b) It seems to be fine “on my side”. Send me a screenshot by email please;

Hey Pirenko, like the theme so far. Before purchasing, I have a question about the demo – the version with the menu collapsed, it looks like the text to the far right of the slider is cut off when the menu is expanded. Is there a way to avoid this when you set the menu to be collapsed and then expanded?

The idea is that the content shifts to the right so this happens on all pages. If you add #prk_ajax_container {left:0px !important;} to the theme custom CSS textfield under Samba Options>Custom Scripts tab, the content will stay “in place” when the menu enlarges and you have the effect that you are saying.

Currently I am using nextgen gallery to show all this images as I used this already on my old website. Or do you recommend a different solution or a different gallery plugin as I now want to follow the style of my new website. I also have no idea if nextgen gallery and samba will work well together. Where to configure social media icons?

Is it just on my website or does the theme not work with IE at all? I have IE10 and it crashes saying (this page had to reload in compatibility mode…) but it just crashes and never loads.
and actually on Firefox everything seems to work except the individual portfolios.

The theme preview works perfectly on Windows 8 and IE10. Did you tested the preview to see if you have that issue? If the problem is only on your website try turning off all the plugins you may have for a moment.

Thanks, I did check and on windows 8 it works. The problem seemed to be in firefox I have private browsing on, so the theme doesnt load, and I imagine something similar with the internet explorer, since it worked on a different computer.

ist it possible, that a standard post without a picture is correctly visible (without the picture) in grid & classic blog mode? Do you use standard post types from wordpress? Is there a maximum height of the feature image or do you show it (scaled)?

I just added a post without picture to the “end” of the blog. I’m not using the standard posts, because I think they are not standard enough (each developer ends up adding different wasy to implement them). Finally, there’s no limit to the images size.

thank at first for this great theme. I’ve got one question. I’m actually testing this theme and i’ve got a problem with the members page. If i get on any single memberpage on the left the get in touch field is not there or half cut. you can see it if you go on this website www.lloydlancester.de I filled out only the facebook link. At the member cristof helm there is the half cut get in touch. And any other user has no get in touch field but its filled out with the same facebook link.

Great Theme, but I am having some trouble with the call to action button shortcode. Namely the button is not showing up. If I take the short code for the button out and put it in a text block it shows, but I loose the formatting that comes with the call to action short code. Any ideas?

Just bought your theme, and it seems pretty neat Though I do have questions for my own case.
1. My goal is to create a site to show photography portfolio. Right now I managed to get it to work by creating a portfolio item FOR EACH separate picture let the thumbnail open a lightbox and assign it to a skill. Probably there’s no other option, but I wondered if you could just add photos in bulk to a certain portfolio page.
2. Can you configure the permalinks for the skills urls? I have a main category “people” with a subcategory “black&white”, but the url says /black&white instead of /people/black&white. Though it has “people” as its parent. Can’t find where I should change this.
3. I’m now using the masonry portfolio layout, but is it possible to achieve something like in this example with the caroufredsel plugin (as you mention it in your sources)? http://caroufredsel.dev7studios.com/examples/intermediate-carousels.php. I mean the thumbnail example By the way, I have a programming (I know php and jquery) background just not so much in wordpress I guess I would create a new page template but I’d appreciate some help to begin with

1 – Portfolio pages show single portfolio items so you have to create one for each thumbnail;
3 – You’ll need to create a new page template and add the elements according to their page samples. You’ll also need to init the carousel with jQuery using the main.js file located in the js folder;

The thing I’m actually struggling with is to get the list of custom options I need to get when I choose this new template. When you choose masonry you can choose for instance “open thumbnails in lightbox” plus you can assign a specific skill to the page. Any help getting these options to work too on this new page template would be nice I made a copy of “template_portfolio_masonry.php”, renamed it and started working in that, but as I said these same options don’t show which probably is quite normal
If you want to activate those options to another php template you need to change the template-portfolio-spec.php file located inside inc/modules/wpalchemy/metaboxes/
