Under each blog page you have the option to filter and show only some categories. So just make sure you select all with the exception of the Ruins category.

Just purchased and installed theme on a fresh installation with the provided child theme.
Uploaded a 220px wide logo and a 440px wide logo for retina and the logo is being resized to about half of what it should be to properly fill the area. Also, I tried other browsers and of first load I was show the low res version but on a page refresh the hi res version showed and shrunk to half size..

I opened that link and it seems to be fine here. What browser are you using? Also are you on a retina screen?
Yes, I’m on a Mac book pro and I replicated it on my iPad. Like I said, on first load it loads the low res image (I inspected the element first to see what image it grabbed), filling the space. Try refreshing your screen and see what happens. I’ve tried it in Chrome, Safari (Mac book & iPad) and FF. All with the same results.
I should add that the Mac book is a retina and when I load the site on my non-retina machine the low res logo fits just fine.
Poking around on my local install a bit, I see that deleting the /2 in lines 3112 & 3113 of main.js seems to fix the issue.

As im building there are a couple of things that would help a lot for a future update release… 1) Addition the the ‘separator’ shortcode would be a blank line that you could control the depth (in pixels) 2) From the home page when using the ‘latest portfolio’ shortcode it would be good to give the option to return back to origination (the home page) once the user closes down viewing a particular portfolio item. At the moment it always reverts to taking them to the portfolio section which can be disorientating if they think they are viewing from the homepage.

How do I implement one of your listed fonts in the included Revolution Slider. Im trying to use ‘TeX Gyre Heros’ which from what I can tell isnt a native Google Font which is what Revolution Slider supports. When I try to add the TeX Gyre Heros to my slider CSS it just ignores it. It works with system fonts like Arial but nothing else.
What do you suggest? Andy
Hi,
Revolution Slider won’t load the fonts that you set using CSS. It will apply the styles, but you still need to load the fonts on the theme header. On the other side, you have the theme that will load only 2 fonts (the header and the body font). If you want to use a different font on the slider (it will be a third font) you need to make the theme load it and for that you should add the necessary code to the header.php file.

Hi there.
I have already loaded ‘TeX Gyre Heros’ as my main theme heading font. I can’t use a lot of the others as they cause display issues.
When I go into Rev Slider and edit a CSS layer by using TeX Gyre Heros in the font family it doesn’t show up. Can you explain how I get TeX Gyre Heros to show up. You mention loading a third font but I’m only using this and Open Sans so I don’t need a third.

Hi Pirenko – I love the theme. I have 3 silly questions, though. In the demos, you show the full width slider (with content); and corporate style. 1 – I see the slider, but how do I get it full width like that? Can I write on the slider pictures like in the theme? 2 – How do I set up corporate style? It’s not a theme page or post. 3 – How can I fix the image like in Team Member Single? Mine shows up as a full page image for some reason, and would really like it to show as it is in demo.

seems like the “Logo vertical margin (in pixels)” option also moves the vertical margin from the logo to the menu area, is it possible for me to just move the logo closer to the menu. But not disabling the option to move the logo further from the top though..

You can with CSS, but in this case it’s more than just one line of code. And you’ll need also to edit the main.js file so that the menu slides in and out as expected.

Ok, that’s because the theme makes calculations according to the window height. If you prefer you can hide the sidebar even when logged in (go to Users>Your profile and select the option to hide the sidebar).

That works! However, it created another problem. In the navigation, we have some sub menus. When we click on the menu, the sub items expands but the also menu collapsed. What it should happen is, the sub items expands(displayed), but the menu should not collapsed. Can you please advice? Thanks again

You’ve created a fantastic theme which is working really well but I am having one problem that I’d appreciate your advice on please.
When I turn off the ‘Use Ajax calls to load content?’, the menu flickers badly on an iPad during the default slideshow to the point where it’s not really useable.
My problem is that I need to display a slideshow but all of the third party slideshows I’ve tried (Slider Pro, Royal Slider, Justified Image Grid etc) all fail to load correctly when ‘Use Ajax calls to load content?’ is set to ‘On’.
Are you able to advise on a possible work-around?

no way to get a little bit more? The logo I am working with has some smaller support text with it, and I would like the whole logo to stretch the width of the navigation area.
It seems that we are talking about different things. The code I gave you makes the logo fill the whole navigation area if it has the maximum size. Maybe you are talking about when the menu is collapsed on top… Send me a private message with a screenshot and a link so that I can see what you mean.

Hi, I am using Calendarize it by RightHere plugin, and the Calendar seems to have trouble loading because of the Ajax function. If I disable it the calendar will appear, if it’s on it will only appear if I reload the page.
The Ajax is a nice feature I would love to keep. It creates a much smoother experience. Would there be a way to block it for just one page, the Calendar page? I tried creating a custom menu with a http: link hoping it would reload, but it still process the Ajax.
Any idea?

Hi Pirenko, I hope it is okay to have another question. In the menu bar you have the menu Shop. Below that you have Submenu ‘cart’. If an item is purchased it shows below the ‘cart’, like (1 Item-$21.50) in the menu. (I am sure you didn’t use a widget here)
This looks sooo great. I too have added the cart as a submenu to the shop link and now I too would like to have the items showing beside the cart link in the menu. I don’t figure out how you did this. Can you please guide me here? Thanks in advance. Doris

Please go to Samba Options>Woocommerce tab and choose if you want to append the cart info to the Shop button or to the Cart button. Make sure that you add to the menu at least the Shop or the Cart button depending on the choice you made before on the theme options.

Right, what I mean is the background of the content and the menu to both be white, so that you can’t tell that there is a boundary there.

The theme does not interfere anything with these so their size depends on the screens that your visitors would use. I would say at least they should have 1200px wide.
