Is there a way to close out specific dates in the booking plugin?

Can’t wait! Just launched a new website with your theme for a busy hotel. I was going email some feedback but I’ll post it here in case anyone else has the same ideas:
Would be nice to be able to set different prices for different dates too. During holiday seasons, especially dates like New Years (in the US) room rates go up.
I don’t think larger hotels will replace their in-house booking systems with this one, but that’s not a bad thing, because the software they use at the front desk is very detailed. So the website won’t need to manage the entire inventory (unless you plan a massive new plugin? )
For a website to be really useful, clients just need a way to leverage their own website to convert traffic to sales, so if they can block out certain dates, make variable prices and add in certain optional charges, like: “Breakfast Buffet” or “Wifi” or other little things, even: “Air Port Pickup/Drop Off service”. Those are awesome things without going too far in developing time.
I really can’t thank you enough and I hope others feel the same excitement I do, because I can think of another 5 or 6 hotels I can start next month thanks to you.

2.) We have a lot of features planned for the booking plugin over the coming months, but it’ll be up to the hotel if they want to switch or not

It’s possible to change the number of rooms displayed in the plugin options.

I noticed booking confirmation details is not sent to the booker’s or guest email. I think that needs to be corrected.

Actually I have the code and the form you have is the same areas the form uses. So I think I can use it.
I want to buy but it is not showing up correctly in IE 10 – exact version – 10.0.9200.16721 Do you have a fix for this? First two columns show up correct, but the third column wants to align to left under first column in the middle and footer areas. I have a screen shot I can send you if you want to see it. Email?

I would like to have a simple slider for each room, which will have it’s own images. For example, i need to have a slider in room#3 which shows images for room#3 and also another slider for room#2 which shows images of room#2 … just like you did in your demo. I have tried to find how to make one in the theme documentation but there is nothing ….

To create a slider for the accommodation single pages go to “Accommodation > Add New” and click “Add Slideshow Images” on the right side of the page.

I love this theme. Very pretty and has all the features I’m looking for. But I have one question before I buy. I want to use this theme for cottage rentals which will be by week (Monday to Sunday). So I’d need to edit the fields on the search form or have a calendar of available dates for the user to choose from. Are those things possible or terribly hard to alter? I have a little skill at editing code – little.

Currently only daily booking are possible, but we’re working on a big update which will add a ton of functionality to the theme/plugin in the not too distant future, weekly bookings will most likely be part of this.
So if you can wait a couple of weeks or so, yes the theme/plugin will include this functionality.

I checked the changelog and saw that you’d made a lot of changes to make this great theme even better. I still need weekly reservations though and I don’t think you got around to it this time. You can translate the theme options using the guide posted above, but make sure you’re running the latest version of the theme (1.4.4) because I only recently made this part of the theme translatable with WPML.

We are planning to purchase.
Since there’s no admin demo, we have a few queries before we proceed.
Please confirm on the following:
- Do we have ability to setup price per adult and per kid?
- Is it possible to set max. # of guests allowed per property?
- Does booking calendar display availability on chosen dates?
- Is it possible to have surcharge for weekends and seasons (like Christmas etc.)
- Multiple images for each property in a gallery format? Also is it possible to add videos to gallery?
- We have noticed, from our past experience that a number of similar themes (from other developers) are highly hardcoded, making it difficult to make any changes? To what extent your theme is user and developer friendly?

3.) You can input your chosen dates and number of guests, available rooms will then be displayed
4.) For weekends yes, currently not for other dates though. We will be adding the ability to set custom pricing for any date range in future updates.
5.) In slideshow format yes, see this page to get an idea of how the accommodation single page is formatted: http://themes.quitenicestuff.com/sohohotelwp/accommodation/hotel-3/
6.) The basic style of the theme can be easily changed, such as colours, sidebar layout. If you want to change the core structure of the theme this will involve development work but if you have experience with WP it should be relatively easy

thanks for the reply, Ok I will check with them but is it possible to integrate US Bank Merchant instead of Paypal..as the theme is little complex with Paypal, cause it only take deposit money of reservation and the amount can be anything..

The accommodation page only list just one room. I created a page called accommdation and I added the shortcode [accommodation] to it. Then added 10 rooms to the Accomodation. But the only room listed at the front end”Accommodation” is the last room I added.
