Amazing design ThemeNectar! Before I purchase it, I just wanted to know in the “Portfolio Alternative Style” page you have in your demo, could it be possible to have the Portfolio images without the gaps of white space between them, so they appear borderless or without the margains? You have something similar to what I’m talking about placed without borders in the Home – Landing Page where you preview a few Portfolio posts. If so, this would be incredible and I will purchase this now

how can i do the portfolio thumb with a little bit more padding, i have try to find the attribute but no luck… i just need it to hsow all the images in the portfolio with padding and round corner

I’m not sure what you mean by a little but more padding – perhaps if you create a quick screenshot demonstrating what you are trying to achieve I could be a little bit better of a help!

what happen for some reason when portfolio show, there is no padding in the images, like they used to show on the template.. I’m not sure how and shy this happen 
it shows just images then bar bottom w info but there is no white padding to show it aligned and pretty

Its been a nightmare; i moved the wp from one folder to the main root and its been a caos i had to recreate all widgest again.. still not redoing the conetact but i wanted to share with you as portfolio now are not showing..
do you have any idea how to make the pictures showing? they are on the folder wp contnt.. and have the backup of it.. but for some reason when i import the xml it didnt copy.. help if you can plz. url: mahiette.com

thank you for your helpmahiette, when you switch the location of a WordPress install you also need to edit things in the database to point to the new location or else a lot of your media won’t display correctly since the database still has the old locations for them. Nectar, any hint on the portfolio padding? and on the to to to why it is showing weird? as well i applied the code for the nectar slide show to make it transparent but no luck code of the custome css on the nectar settings:

The logo dimensions are up to you – you set the logo height in the header options tab so you can use any size you want. If you want to share your URL i’ll take a peek at it for you to see if I see anything array

Great Theme. One problem. Transparent buttons on sliders have a white background. Even the solid color buttons have a thick white border around them. Any suggestions on how to clear this?

Hey Kevin! The product categories take on the same responsive rules as the store – altering that would require custom css to adjust the sizing of them in various viewports.

1. Basic support, but I still need to do more testing before I advertise as 100% compatibility.
2. Yes, you can call lightboxes where ever you need.
3. Yes, you have the ability to select categories for each portfolio layout.

5. Yes, you can select a full width layout for your posts/projects if you choose.
6. There’s a widget included that allows the thumbnail to be used in the recent posts widget & a more extended recent posts shortcode will be coming in the next update.

by chance Yogova asks the same question. Any plans to add lightbox or prettyphoto function? After initial euphoria I must admit that I was a bit disappointed not seeing any chance to let pictures open in one of those plugins.

You’ll be happy to know that a lightbox function has been in Salient since day one All you have to do to call it is add the class “pp” onto your link. Here’s an example (entered in the text tab on your editor obviously)

Hello Themenectar, we’ve been following your theme since the very first release and we are impressed with everything you have done with it and the incredible support you’re offering from the beginning. There are a few themes out there that improve every month as well but your attention to detail with such a beautiful design is really unique. Sometimes it seems that this theme is more like your son than just a great work !
Well, now, at last we have the opportunity to use it for one of our projects so, even if your theme has almost everything anybody could need, we’d like to make you a few pre-sale questions:
1. Is there some kind of ‘lightbox gallery’ and, if not, any plans to add it? For instance, you have one of your carousels with a lot of images inside and when you click in one of them, a lightbox opens and you can see all these images. Obviously, we love your Nectar Slider but a lightbox gives you the possibility to use images of very different sizes: panoramic, portrait, etc.
2. Is your theme fully compatible with ‘WPML’? We’ve seen that you have added the display of the flag but we’d like to know if it is fully translatable in many languages.
3. When we see your first ‘homepage parallax slider’ in a mobile device, the texts and buttons are readable, but with your new ‘nectar slider’ it seems that everything re-sizes proportionally to the screen and it is almost impossible to read certain things. Is it possible/difficult to control the way the texts and buttons re-size?

2. I did add basic support for the language selector and a few other things but have not claimed 100% compatibility yet because I still need to do more testing – I will be finally do that for the next release though
3. Yes, the nectar slider has a different sizing function (based on popular demand) for proportional scaling. This is the same scaling function used by other premium sliders like Rev Slider/ LayerSlider etc. I know it seems small, but on a retina device it is legible – if you want to edit the sizing for that you can do so with a little custom css.

Just one more thing for the lightbox question because what I meant was to have something like a ‘slider lightbox’, ‘gallery lightbox’, or ‘Lightbox Navigation for WP native Gallery’.
So, once you click one image and go to the lightbox, I’d like to see multiple images by clicking ‘next’ or an ‘arrow’ without going back to the main screen and reclick another image to see another lightbox.
Is it possible? I hope you understand what I mean.

What a great Theme! Before I`ll buy it I have some questions.
1.Is your theme compatible with Layer Slider and Revolution Slider? 2.Is there a kind of accordion and tabs funktion? 3.Is your theme compatible with js-visual composer? 4.Your navigation menu, is it a kind of mega menu? Do I can put “font awesome” icons infront of the page-links and put pictures and stuff in it?
I hope that some of these things are possible.

1. You’d have to implement it in the template files where you want it to display full width.
2. Yes, there’s tabs & accordions and yes you can place tabs inside of an accordion if you want to.
3. There was a minor bug that hid the shortcode generator in VC text blocks, but that’s already been taken care and the fix will in the next release. If you end up purchasing and need it earlier just ask for a copy of the fix
4. Adding other items into the mega menu would require custom development at this point – it can only really display menu items.

Hi and thank you for creating such an awesome theme!
I was trying to have multiple full width parallax sections on one page but I can’t really figure out how to do it.
I was trying two Nectar Sliders with parallax activated which resulted in both sliders connecting and pushing the content that should be in between them to the end of the page. If I deactivate parallax in the second slider the positions are correct but I don’t get the parallax effect on the second one.
What am I doing wrong?

You can only have 1 parallax nectar slider on a page – the effect is not your average parallax by bg position, it’s a bit more complicated and a lot of calculations are in place assuming it’s at the top.

I see… I concluded that unlimited instances of Nectar Sliders + parallax enabled Nectar Sliders meant unlimited parallax Nectar Sliders
Anyway, is there any possible workaround to this? I don’t need it to be a slider, I just want multiple parallax sections to give the page more depth.
It would be awesome if you could hint me in a direction on how to get those sections (like for example in the Stardust theme on Themeforest).

I’m sorry, I got this completely wrong and figured it out. All I needed was a parallax full width section from the Nectar Shortcodes since I don’t need the slider function. Everything is good and it looks awesome now!

1. You just need to place your icons inside of a column shortcode.
2. When you generate a full width section shortcode, everything you place inside of the shortcode will display inside of it. Here’s an example:[full_width_section] CONTENT HERE [/full_width_section]
