Theme is fantastic, could I ask a question before purchase ( im sure your sick of them lol) Is it possible using the nectar slider to add a slider above the navigation on the home page? like using php or something? if not would this be included in future updates?

Could you please tell me how to remove these four boxes at the top lefthand corner of my portfolio slider? [http://africaisdonesuffering.com] (It’s near the bottom). It wasn’t doing this previously but after the last update it popped up out of nowhere.
Hey bosueke, yes the last update added the option in for navigation within the carousel (there would be left*right arrows too if you had more images). But if you generated the shortcode before the update, the option will be on by default. To remove it just add this to your shortcode:
hide_controls="true"
so all on the shortcode it would look like:
[recent_projects hide_controls="true" etc.. ]

hey in the default slider or the page headers the pic always get cropped is there a way to solve that??

the only way to scale images proportionally would be to use a full width section shortcode with only an image set (the text would need to be in the image in that case) or by using the nectar slider which scales down with near 100% accuracy.

for the page header the way you mentioned worked.
then I changed top-margin line in the css file in the header section (from -50 to 0)and with a little experiment with the (Page Header Height) I got almost full sized header (as a header not a photo),
but still in mobile and tablet size it still geet croped, but I guess I have to live with that
but the for the photos in the slider when I used nectar slider it just got worse. you can check here ( humsc. net )above is the default slider(look for the image in it)and down is nectar slider. any Ideas please??

Hey luckskywalker, you can choose the full width blog layout in your blog options tab to remove the sidebar

1. You would need to modify the shortcode-processing.php file located in the nectar/tinymce directory to add the functionality you’re looking for. However, in the next release I’m going to try to work in the option to add your desired symbol through the shortcode generator

Hello! I bought this theme from theme trade – I wanted to turn off the responsive of the theme, and I see one of the updates allows for this.

ThemeTrade is actually no more legal than pirating. ThemeForest is aware of that site a few others that are charging for themes they have no right to sell, but so far have been unable to take them down.
If you purchase a real license for the theme from here you will gain access to all the updates you missed & going forward
