Bought it yesterday and so far I’m really happy about it! Very happy to hear that you guys listen to the customers and adding a simple nav, it will make it so much more versatile. Looking forward too the new update already!

Overall about the admin area. Here we put a lot of efforts trying to create a custom framework that let us offer an easy to use admin area. So in this sense I hope we are doing things well!
We are hearing to you in order to make the theme as useful as possible. For us this task is really important. And the menus are a very important part for the theme and here we would like to make the better solution as possible.
We are still working hard on it, improving and make it better.

You’re welcome. There’s really no footer solution. Usually people like to put some contact info at the bottom of the site. Would be great to have that, either as widget solution or anything else. I understand that a lot of the request makes you deviate from your original work and I respect that. 
Anyway, we can study the possibility of adding an area of this kind. We have a requests list we will study and during the next coming weeks we will be adding some of these new features to the theme.
We put some limits, of course, because we don´t want to create a ‘Frankestheme’!

I think that it won´t take more than 2 hours more, Rich. We have add some new features, and one related to WPML needed a review by our part again required by reviewers a few hours ago. Now the theme is in queue again and waiting for approval.
We can talk via the thread opened by mail if you want too in order to be updated and share details.

Congratz for the nice & polite design! Really admire your work. One question: Is the content shown in the DEMO also delivered with the template? I mean such as pictures, effects, pages, fonts, graphics, ecc.? This is helpful especially when setting uop the parallax effects. Last time a bought a Parallax Theme I encountered too much problems due to the missing content.

Hi Mike,
the XML provides a placeholder for images. Images used in the demo are copyrighted and owned by its respective illustrators and designers.
When you install the XML you will be creating a site exactly to the demo, only the images are not included. But blocks and other configurations will remain.
Notice that we provide some default settings on install too. Color schemes, typefaces…
I would like to point that Flamingo is not a “parallax” theme. We just add a option to activate this effect in case you like to use it. If you take a look to the main demo you will see that this effect is not activated, it is because I think we are offering a lot of great options more interesting and powerful that this one.
Anyway, if you could have any doubt installing or working with the theme, do not hesitate to open a support ticket and we will try to help with it. The only tasks that are not covered on support are customizations. We will attend your questions and we will try to help with them.

Well I just did it and I’m just blown away how easy the install procedure is … under 10 minutes to install the theme, all the needed plugins and with the help of the perfect documentation this is gonna be fun working with it! Love it already!! Thank you so much guys!

a new update is on review queue. This new update contains a couple of new features, some minor fixes and a complete XML based on the demo contents.
You will be notified by mail once the new update will be available.
The documentation was updated too with new screencasts (they are available now in the online doc). Remember that there you have a lot of dummy content ready to start working with your theme in a very easy way too.
Even, if you prefer not to wait for the update is ready, you can write me using the contact form in my profile and I will send you the file (XML) in order you can start working with the dummy content as soon as possible.

Amazing Flamingo… So, I purchased your other theme.
Absolutely amazing design! I wonder if instead of having a menu button on the right which then brings another window, would it be possible to have those tabs on the top of the screen displayed in a clean way much like you have it on the very bottom when you scroll all the way down? If this option is available, I will not hesitate buying…Though I can’t stress enough how beautiful it all is!!

the theme is going to be updated today (it is on review phase). Here we are adding a new navigation always opened. Flamingo was released around 48h from now. We are receiving a lot of feedback and we are hearing to all of you. These adds in this update is a consequence of this.
We study proposals and if they enter with our plans about design and development and are useful for the most of users we will make all the possible to make them happen.
The theme offers now a lot of features and options. And one of our first base philosphy is trying to make as simpler as easy to use the option panel and all the features included. It is for this reason we don´t believe that having thousand of options is a good idea. We only will add new features if they really represent a real improvement from the user´s point of view. We apply this with Flamingo and any of our other items.

One final thing, is there a way to make the arrows on the portfolio item page for next and previous item a little bigger and permanently visible as I missed them the first few times I looked over this theme?

we have updated the arrows behaviors. Now they work in a very similar way but they have more visibility area. Let´s try the new update, I think they will work better without being intrusive.

What an incredible theme, is it possible to use the angled layout but have the menu (navigation) permanently expanded rather than having to click the button to expand it?
Also is it possible to have the homepage as yours is but with the addition of a grid of portfolio items?

Well, the 3 navigation could be opened all the time, but you would loose the backgrounds view. So if you prefer to display always the menus they can be opened as you can see in the minimal demo.
To achieve this you would need to modify some js and css parts. It is not hard from the point of view of the code.

Thanks for providing such an excellent design, I’ve read the documentation and I see you have section for demo page setup, how I would like to request a feature as with many other themes is a demo import to quickly get a site up and going… Would you be so kind to configure this in your zip file and make an update available while the theme is still getting around the community. Frustration will build in your support as more and more users who seek to have a quick setup. Just a little advice from a person having purchased over 50 themes on TF.
This is again an Amazing Design and am certain sales will be AWESOME.

One of the nicest themes I saw on themeforest. Hopefuly an option to display vimeo/youtube in a portfolio detail page soon, then I will buy it right away!

you can add any kind of these supported media using the video player widget included within the page builder. It is a super easy to use tool.
Also, we are working to implement video as a new option for backgrounds. This option will allow videos from Youtube & Vimeo.

I forgot to say that the inside galleries within the projects have full support for Youtube/Vimeo videos, setting sizes and fullscreen. Notice that these galleries are not any lightbox system, are complete galleries with a very powerful engine and 4 different skins. IMHO, I think it is a great feature to have into account. Just this!
