Is your current site blog posts like that? No, that layout is only available for portfolio posts. That layout you keep referencing, is for portfolio posts. So you can use that layout for portfolio posts.

Yes you can do that as long as you setup your posts as portfolio posts

First you need to buy the theme here on Themeforest, then you need to download the theme files and install the “Avada.zip” file in your Wordpress install.

Where does our information state its BuddyPress friendly? I’ve not put that anywhere on the item page or demo.

We ourselves have not tested it with BuddyPress. The only thing we’ve mentioned when asked here in the comments is that many of our users have told us Avada works with BuddyPress and they use it without issue. That info has come from our users, we ourselves have not tested and approved it.

We advertise that it works with bbPress, which is forum plugin. And you can view that on our demo http://theme-fusion.com/avada/forums/forum/general-information/

I think you misread my comment, or misunderstood it. I was replying to your statement that said “Your information states that it’s BuddyPress friendly, however, your demo doesn’t reflect such.”.

Saying that means you read that we state that. We do not state that, which is why I was asking you where you read that at. That is not being defensive, its simply asking a question

No we do not have an example of it, as I stated we have not used it ourselves. All I can tell you is what our users tell us, which is what I stated above in answering your question.

Yes this appears to be a WPML issue. When the issue came about for you, did it happen directly after WPML update? Or Avada update, or both?

I assume you tried a permalink reset already? Settings > permalinks and click save changes.

You can signup and post the topic on our forum, but the best thing to do is to post it on the WPML forum and speak directly to their support staff.

Yes but its our default sticky header, as you see on our demo. The ubermenu style and features you use, will not show in the sticky header, but any menu item link will.

The sticky header will disappear when you get towards the top, so yes that will happen. To be honest this is the first time we’ve ever heard a complaint about how it works, and its been in the theme for a long time now. With regular use (not rapidly scrolling up/down), we do not feel its distracting at all. Users scroll the page at normal speeds, and once the main header is out of view, the sticky header comes into view.

I do see the windows 8 example, they’ve simply set it up differently and were able to do that. We have 5 and users customize them differently. Our sticky header had to be one version for all of them, which uses the default header 1 style.

However, we will keep this in mind for future versions, maybe we can add a second option to work like that.

You could make that happen if you wish, but it would require a lot of code customization so that is something you would need to do on your end. There is no easy fix we could give that will do that, the entire thing would need to be setup differently. Alternatively, you can simply turn it off in theme options and not use it.

As I said though, we will add this to our list and discuss the possibility of a second style of sticky header in a future version.

Can you please explain a little more? Headers are not touched when you update. There was one update where we added a lot of new options for the headers, like being able to customize the left, right sections, or ehader 4 search area/tagline, etc. So in that udpate those areas were reset, but that is it. It will not reset when you update. If you are using a child theme, then maybe your files are not setup properly. We can take a look if you signup and post on our forum.

I mean user templates for header. Something like when page template created and it can be used in editor. Same for headers. Theme has 5 included, but if it would be possible for theme to load user templates (from some folder) and include them in list in options – that would be nice. Also that would make theme more customizable and universal.

Right now, if I want completely redesign header – I have to modify one of 5 included, and keep it up with updates checking if something was modified.

Same Idea would be actual for footer too – choice in options – default or user template. Maybe you add that in next updates

in this case my clients can go an buy avada, instead of looking for something that fits more, but less functional

Yes most definitely We are working on v3.2.2 now, and also waiting for the new rev slider release to be complete. The new 4 version is out, but it has also been updated about 4-5 times in the past week so we want to be sure the majority of the bugs are worked out first. Its coming soon! Probably 10-14 days.

If your menu is long enough it will fall to two lines so it all fits, and yes you can have dropdowns on both levels I believe.

The Revolution slider does not have that feature built into the slide, as I’m sure you will know. This would require customizations and we’ve never done this before on our end so I can’t say exactly what would be needed. This is something that we can try to point you in the right direction if you post on our forum, but since its not a feature of the slider plugin, we cannot guarantee results. I would first recommend asking the Rev Slider developers because I’m sure they have come across this before and will be able to let you know one way or the other.

Are you sure you did it right? I imagine you did not follow the directions. You need to install the fusion-core plugin then activate it. you would of received yellow notices in your wordpress admin.

I have asked for help in the forum but no one will respond. That is frustrating and I’m not the only one. That is why I posted here.

And, for your information I am an advanced user and DID install everything properly. The Core plugin is installed and activated.

You do have a GREAT theme and perhaps the volume of support requests has exploded with all the recent sales. Hopefully you can get caught up on responding to everyone soon.

Yes it does work for everyone. You cannot just look at topic titles and not open them and read them.

Any thread you see on the forum for it not working is either 1) user did not install AND activate the plugin, 2) user has server permission issues and the plugin scripts are being blocked, which is caused by some hosts show follow old practices. Its easily fixed, and its well documented on the forum and in our knowledge base.

And there is no reason to post here if you posted on the forum, especially in the type of comment you posted with no real information and pre frustration. All that will do is slow it down. Forum reply times can take up to 24 hours Mon-Fri, currently its the weekend.

Your thread has not been replied to yet because of the amount of times you bumped it, which will send it back to the beginning of the que. However, it is the weekend, and times will be a little slower.
