You can turn it on and off per portfolio post in the post options box, http://d.pr/i/xMHJ
If you want it removed on them all, all the time, the you would need to edit single-avada-portfolio.php and remove that code.

Does Avada have a page builder (like Visual Composer) built in? Only asking because I use Visual Composer with it now and am having conflicts with the EventOn plugin (short codes with short codes).
We are building our own custom page builder which is being worked on now. Currently it does not have one, but does have a shortcode generator. The page builder will be released with Avada once its done.

Hello… wich is the best way to manage the position and size of the portfolio gallery photos. What im noticing is that having different size photos makes the gallery really uneven and for example the very panoramic photos tend to stick to the top.
Is the solution to give all the photos the same size? But being a photographer should i crop my images to the same size? I wouldnt like to do that… thanks

Are you referring to the single post page for portfolio? The slider will adapt to your image sizes, but if your images are vastly different in size then it will change per image, but probably not what you want.

Can Avada theme support both a left and a right widgetized sidebar?
Yes but not at the same time, each page can only have one sidebar at this time. However, it can be either on the left or right of the page. And we are going to add double sidebar feature in a future update.

Hi, Thanks for lovely theme. There are two skin options in the theme – dark or light . Would like to know – is it possible to have light skin or dark skin of any colour as I don’t want greyish black or white shades? Can we have contrast skin of light and dark both of any colour in same page? Thanks

The light and dark skin are pre-defined skins, but you can customize the colors any way you wish.
You can have a light background and then a dark background on a same page, but that might pose an issue for the content on top for some of the shortcodes. For example, some shortcodes have one color setting in theme options, which would only work well on a light or dark background. So if you need that same shortcode on both, it might pose an issue.

Is it possible to have two different colours of text on the body. I would like to have some black text in one section and have white text on certain coloured sections. I can only find an option to edit the body text in one place and this sets it to a universal colour.

Yes you can do this using the Wordpress visual editor. Select the text you want, and click the text color button in the toolbar and pick the color. That will add the color as a span.
Yep, tried that but if you select the colour white for text the shortcode cannot see the text and it disappears from view, obviously in the visual editor but it also disappears on the site itself.
If it disappears on the site, then its probably on a white background? White text on white background will not show, make sure you are using a black background then, Use the full width shortcode and set a background color, then put your text and other content inside of it.

There is no longer need for XML files. We have a built in demo content importer, directly in theme options on the General tab. And its even better than XML files because its imports everything, not just pages and posts. It gives you pages, posts, sliders, widgets, sidebars, theme options and more.

Not at this time, but we are going to be adding an auto-updater to the theme in a future version. For now, you simply download the latest theme zip here, then install it via WP or via FTP. No content is lost or anything
