if you load the actual page in mobile size you’ll see that each portfolio item just acts a link to the more details page. There’s no point of having a view larger button on mobile since the lightbox would only be able to display the image at the same size you’re already viewing at.

I used to supply line diffs as well, but since some of the updates I’ve been pushing out contain 1000+ line changes it has become more practical to recommend the use of child themes instead of modifying any core files.

Hi there, i’m trying to replicate the full width video that uses the blue skyline video. I have downloaded the skyline video but could you tell me how you made it blue like in the demo?

1. I added the blue coloring when editing the video in After Effects.
2. The sub heading is a feature only built-in for the Nectar Slider – adding into the Home Slider would take some custom development.

I – just like the other of thousands of people that bought it, LOVE IT!! although at the moment, I am running load speed tests on Google PageSpeed Insights. One considerable difference is the speed score between your website and mine as listed below. 2 problems I get which you don’t have are:
Enable compression Compressing resources with gzip or deflate can reduce the number of bytes sent over the network.
Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content Your page has 3 blocking script resources and 4 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.

The enable compression warning deals with your server compression setting. You can contact your hosting provider and ask them to enable gzip compression.
As for plugins on the demo – I am only using W3 Cache which you can find tutorials of all over the place to configure.

Awesome theme. But I can’t figure out for the life of me why the ability to filter/sort portfolio by categories has suddenly disappearing after updating to 2.5.1
Neither horizontal sorting nor dropdown sorting works. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks!

Thanks for the screenshot; I’m just returning to this now. Where in the Dashboard does this settings box live? I feel like this should have an easy solution but I’ve been banging my head up against a wall here. Doing a keyword search for “display sortable” in the Dashboard editor and across all the downloaded component files, I only find it in “page-meta.php”. Thanks!
That option exists in the Portfolio Display Settings box which is on the right side of your edit page screen when you have the portfolio layout selected for the page. Alternatively if you are using a portfolio shortcode will also see an option for that in the shortcode generator interface when configuring the shortcode.
If you’re stuck on this I’d be glad to enable it for you if you can provide me admin access

In Opera 12.16 when mousing over a large icon, eg this: [icon color=”Accent-Color” image=”icon-cloud-upload”] it crashes the browser. This does not happen in any other browser including Opera 18.0.

I just checked on Opera 12.14 and can not see any issues with the icon shortcode – the hover effect is made form css only and since there’s no scripting involved, it would be very odd that it could crash a browser. I’ll update to your version and see if I can replicate though.

Hi, I’ve made quite a few modifications to the theme so far and it’s looking absolutely amazing (good job on the theme, code is so clear to work with). But sadly I’m stuck on the last bit of code changing to change the white background on basic pages to a background image. I can’t seem to find the correct div to add the background-image (and center) tags to.

Never mind Nectar, I’ve fixed things by using iframes to disregard the css styling on the twitch.Tv embed. I should think more before asking support

Hi Mate,
Total Noob Question but looking set setting up a combination of Images and Videos in our Home Page Slider, but having issues trying to work out what the size should be of both of these. The images look ok, but videos aren’t looking right.
You can see in the second slide that the video has been moved down for some reason, having the bottom of the video cut off.
Are their specific sizes recommended?

That’s actually a Nectar Slider instance (the Home Slider is a separate slider) and the required aspect for videos in there is 16:9. The size is up to you, but as long as you upload in that aspect ratio it will display as it should
