I have an issue with breadcrumbs on portfolio item pages…
Basically if I access a portfolio item page from the – say – About Us page, on the breadcrumbs of the portfolio item pages it will display: Home > About Us > Portfolio Item Page
But if I come from – say – Where we are – then on the breadcrumbs of the portfolio item pages it will display: Home > Where we are > Portfolio Item Page
This sucks quite a bit as I want to keep my items under one single voice. How can I do that?

basically i meant that if i use any HTML code using advanced editor, how should i do that? I tried converted to classic editor but it just showed me as blank.
I guess the easist way would be to just add a text element and then add the html code in there

Hey! Its actually quite simple. create a new page, switch to the advanced editor and from the content elements tabs add a “masonry element”.
Set the masonry to display products and you have set up a masonry shop

Hey! You need to make sure that the page you use for your masonry shop is not the same page as the one that is used by woocommerce as default blog page

Okay… in the woocommerce settings it says my shop base page is ‘Shop.’ So how do I remove the blogs and second shop?
you should be able to remove the default shop by simply removing the page from the dropdown and leaving it blank

Hey! Guess you are talking about the masonry blog? There is no option yet to display the default blog as masonry but we will add it to one of the next versions. For now you would need to create a custom page, activate the template builder and add a masonry element

Hey! Unfortunately I don’t have a copy of the player so I can’t offer a definite answer. Would recommend to ask the author of the player if its possible to either add the player by php function, wordpress hook or shortcode to a page. If thats the case it should be no problem to activate it for enfold

Wow, KaMai. I find you immensely irritating and I only read a tiny portion of your 45 posts. Glad I don’t have to provide support as I’m not that polite. Maybe you should have someone code your site from scratch instead of overloading the support and comment forums with your issues. It’s a $55 theme. Use it the way it’s meant to be used and you won’t have any problems. I haven’t had any.

Hi sir, i am using your 2.2 version template and i wordpress 3.5.2 I would like to know if: - 2.2 is compatible with wordpress 3.7.1 - if updatinf from 2.2 to 2.4 i lost something.. or i have to set the page again - if updating it easy (i have just change the core files?)

Hey! Yes I would advise to update. If you haven’t made any changes to the theme files then you won’t have any problems with an update. Since you are using version 2.2 already you can use the auto updater in your backend at enfold->updates by adding your themeforest api key. Wordpress does a check every 12 hours if there is a newer version available
maybe i have just change the lang file… and I modified the setting on theme panel (i put a personal css). I dont want autoupdate template… because if something doesnt work it will be bad for the site
Settings in theme panel won’t be affected by the update since its stored in the database, not in your files
If you have changed the language file I would recommend to back it up before updating and then replacing it
You can also post the language file in our support forums if you improved/added new language strings so we add it to the next version of the theme

Presale question: We are trying to build a multi-author blog with a special focus on occasional videos. Is it possible to add a header above the blog that automatically displays the latest video with a link to all other videoposts. (maybe all blogposts with a video get their own category and the header gets populated with the latest video in that category)?

Hey! the theme comes with a dummy data import button to re-create the theme demo with a single click, so you can work from that point on forward
Does the theme als has an option to show the products in a list in stead of tiles? And when there is an option for the list does the templat shows the first lines of the text.
Hey! Unfortunately not sorry. The theme only supports the grid view for products.
It would require some customization work to display it as a list, but mostly additional css rules. Not sure how long that would take and if you would need additional information in a list view though. If you show me an example of what you want to accomplish I can either help with a few css rules or if the changes would be to extensive send you a link to a customization service

Permalink Issue
and another issue arised: Suddenly posts throw out a 404 without any visible reason. Its the fourth time it happened in a week.
The only thing which helps is to put the permalink-settings again.
Do we have to hire a monitoring-service which checks if all of our URLs throw out a 200 if we want to run a business-website with Enfold?
Are we otherwise always in danger to damage our corporate reputation by having 404s on our site instead of URLs filled with content?

Yesterday we posted a comment which proofed clearly bugs / labeling errors and inconsistence.
Today its gone. “This comment has been flagged as inappropriate and will be reviewed by one of our staff.”
Reporting proofable bugs is inappropriate???

Funny thing is that I didn’t even read the comment before it was flagged inappropriate. So some other user here thought it was offending, and apparently so did themeforest.
But at the same time I really don’t need to know, since I now checked all your threads and posts in our support forum (a whooping 45!) and it simply seems you are one of those people who think that you can get a customized website for 55$. Take comfort in the fact that you did actually cost me money with your weird requests. Glad this is over now
Presale Question: In your demo store you do not display any Product Categories. Typically the product categories are displayed on the left side of the shop page layout.

Yep, its available via widgets. Woocommerce comes with a lot of extra widgets, among them a category filter widgets

These filters are active on all shop overview pages, but not on single pages of course. it similar to our replete theme:

It sends the client out the email but when they click the link on the site to reset the email, it just presents the Forgot Password page to them again – therefore into a loop…

no no – on clients site using the Enfold Theme (latest version of) – the password recovery is not fully working (when click on the reset link in the email, you just land back to the forgot pass page where it prompts you to enter your username or email. I can send you my direct site link via PM if you like?
Hey! Have you activated woocommerce? The enfold theme doesnt mess with the registration links but I know woocommerce changes them.
Before we take any further action would you mind trying to use the feature with the default theme and see what happens, because I don’t think that this is a theme issue
yes Woocommerce is working and activated – I just activated the 2013 default theme – went through the forgot password reset (for the woocommerce account) and its the same, just not working… I understand its not your theme causing the probs but would you know what is causing it?
My best guess is that for whatever reason your woocommerce pages are not set up correctly. Have you tried taking a look at your woocommerce->settings->pages tab?
You should be able to set pages for login/lost pw etc there

Hi. Using the theme. Works great so far. No problems. Just a few questions:
1. Where to change/add new colors? That’s the one thing I didn’t like. The color palette options are pretty dull. Definitely consider adding some brighter shades. If I can add my own, then no problem. Just need to know how to do this.
2. I installed the Contact Form plug in. This allows for a custom redirect page (someone above asked about this). Not as pretty as your form but easy to set up and plenty of options. But…wanted to know where to find the customization options for duplicating your pages on the Live Preview such as FAQ, About, etc. Do you have to do all this manually or are there some templates or shortcodes somewhere like the layer slider?

1.) At your backend in enfold->styling
2.) At your backend at enfold->theme options, if you press the dummy import button the theme will import most posts and pages from the demo installation. you can then keep what you like and delete what you dont like
Awesome on #2. thanks! Figured it was hiding somewhere. On #1, what I mean is how do I add a custom shade to the color palette? I don’t really like any of the options. I’ve been all over styling but can’t find where you add a custom shade to the main color palette to change the color across the site.
Hey! Not sure what you mean by custom shade. you need to change the colors of all the sections individually, there is unfortunately no way to change them all at once…
On the live preview, it states: “Choose a predefined color scheme here. These are some examples. You can create any additional number in your theme backend.” How do I do this so it applies across the board—in the same way as you pick a shade in the scheme. If it can only be done individually, where would it be in the CSS to change one or more of the colors?
P.S. Dummy pages are fabulous. Kept seeing that option but didn’t realize what they were.
Hey! When you scroll down the live preview you see various color selectors in various tabs. thats where you can change the color scheme for a section and once you save it it will be applied to your theme.
